"Pizza & Beer is a brilliant combination we have all enjoyed for years. Planning Mill Pizza is truly one of the best in town. We chose this venue to host a family celebration. They have two party rooms to pick from, one larger than the other. I was disappointed with the responsiveness of the representative in charge of securing the room. It did cause unwanted stress when trying to ensure everything was in order and ready to go. The day of the event arrived, there was no one to greet us or show us to the party room. This was not a good sign, we had to hunt down help before we were finally shown our room. Unfortunately, the room was not set up and we were left to set up all of the chairs as they were just stacked in the corner. There was limited time before guests were scheduled to arrive. We had to hustle to make sure everything was set up. This could have been avoided if they had set up the room before we arrived. All in all, the food was great and made up for the lack of hospitality. I would have given it an additional star but my overall experience lacked. Especially when we paid a pretty big penny to have our event hosted at this venue."

I added some balsamic and it was very good! For my meal I ordered the gnocchi with grilled chicken in vodka sauce. Loved it. Very fresh and flavorful. I even bought an extra meal for lunch the next day. I would recommend this great little place for sure. I will be going back!"

I asked the chef to make a gorgonzola sauce I remembered from years back, and it was every bit as good as I remembered! I hope they add it back to the menu, it's so great. "From the moment you enter Parma you are greeted by Elena the Chef and Owner that graciously goes to each table welcoming her guests and checking on your meals. She takes pride in her Northern Italy Parma region inspired menu and the house made pasta made from scratch daily! I have been coming here since it was at the first location almost 20 years ago. Parma opened in 1999.Tonight we started with Antipasti Misti ($34) Crostini, prosciutto melone (the cantaloupe was so fresh, sweet and juicy, not woody and hard), caprese, frittata, quiche, and Italian bean salad, eggplant medallions and spinach salad. Also tomato bruschetta and peach bruschetta (we thought they were yellow tomatoes at first but the peaches were so fresh and sweet!) absolutely delicious!For the main we had Insalate di Quaglia ($24)- Grilled quail with arugula and Pecorino cheese served with grilled polenta and balsamic reduction.Filet ($58)- served with duchess potatoes and spinach Parma style. Unfortunately the filet came out well done and not medium rare temperature as requested and also came with prosciutto wrapped, but we requested it to be plain and medium rare. We informed the waiter who immediately recognized the mistake and took it back to refire! It took a long time to come back so it was awkward that both meals weren't served at the same time. Elena came by to reassure that it was being corrected. The whipped potatoes that came with it were creamy and delicious. The spinach was also well seasoned and tasty.Special of the Month- Petto d' Aratra- Smoked Duck BreastFor dessert: Bavarese al Frutti di Bosco ($11)- Wild Berry Bavarian mousse served with berry sauce Mousse al Cioccolato con Salsa Chantilly- Belgian chocolate mousse served with chantillyFrom the ambiance to the courteous well dressed staff to the incredible quality of everything on the menu, Parma Ristorante should be at the top of your list if you are looking for the ultimate spot for a Valentines Day dinner or any romantic date night. It's no wonder that Parma Ristorante has received ten California Restaurant Association awards, including "Best Italian Restaurant" and "Most Romantic"."

I loved the lightly toasted French roll's crunch, moistness, and freshness. Most of their sandwiches, hot or cold, are around $9.95 for a whole. Fresno's original Italian tavern and grill is still the gold standard for food taste, quality, and value."

"Attended a baby shower here in August. Because we had a party of 20+ that we reserved months ago, we were put on the patio. The weather was brutal as Fresno summer weather is. I am no longer used to this weather now that I moved by the coast. They had a few misters but they didn't do much to help keep cool. One friend had to leave because she started to feel nauseous and got a headache. The food was good! It was a set menu of Steak salad, Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti and Meatballs. They also served fresh warm bread and a dinner salad. They did not charge us a cake cutting fee. The wait staff made sure our water glasses and drinks were refilled. I personally would not book the patio for a summer event. It's just too hot. But we had a great time and ate well."

"We stopped in for dinner on a hot night. We were quickly seated in the cool, dim dining room. The place was reasonably busy, clean and welcoming. This is where I point out that I o8ve life with a service dog and this place gets 4 paws up. No access issues, the tables have plenty of room under them and the floors are clean. Our server Sarah greeted us and took our drink orders while we perused the menu. My brother has been bragging about the tri color tortellini so, I had to try it and the Mr. Is always on the lookout for the best calazone. Our bread came out and surprise! The butter wasn't frozen rock hard!! Awesome! The bread was nice while we waited for our salads. They came out and were quite significant foe being sides. Very nice. We like that there aren't a lot of extra toppings.. just lettuce and some croutons. We both got ranch dressing and they have the good stuff. My only issue with tye salad is that some of the pieces are quite large. But nothing my knife can't handle. The food came out after a short wait. The calazone was enrobed with a nice thick meat sauce. The Mr was overjoyed because he hates dry anything Italian lol. My pasta held all the promise of rich decadence. And boy did it deliver. It was rich and balanced. I had to pack up some to bring home for tomorrow's lunch. On the whole, the food was amazing, the ambiance relaxing and the service top notch. We will def be back!"

After reading all the reviews we decided to give it a try.So glad we trusted those reviews as the food was so good!! First off, this is a very small restaurant with only about 8 tables inside and a few outside. It's very quaint if on a date, very nice that it is small. The staff is very attentive and was constantly checking on us.We had the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were so good and fresh tasting. They have wonderful rolls, seems like it is the same dough that they use for their pizzas. They were hot, fresh and very light.We both had the chicken parmigiana with red skinned mashed potatoes. They served winter veggies with the meal and everything was so good and flavorful.Again, the staff was very attentive and made sure we had enough rolls and beverages throughout our meal. The wait for our food was reasonable and you could tell it was made fresh.We definitely will be coming back and trying other items from their menu."

The prawns were cooked perfectly, there was a nice bite to the pasta and the sauce was the perfect amount. There are times where I have had Italian with too little sauce or too much sauce on the pasta, to the point where it can get soggy. But they are really conscious about how the meal is plated.
