"H&W Drive In is a cool local spot in Merced. This was not a drive thru fast food restaurant. But, more of a drive in (hence the name) or walk up place. Customers can either drive up to order and have the food delivered to their car. Or, can walk up to the window to place orders to eat at the tables outside or take to-go. The staff was nice. Orders came out quickly.We tried a few of their items - Tuna Sub, Bacon Cheeseburger, Patty Melt, Fries, and Onion Rings. Their fries are crinkle cut in case that matters to you. We enjoyed all of the food. They were all well made and tasty. And the portions seemed to be on the larger size. Prices were quite reasonable. We would go back again if ever in the area."

We skipped over the classics and went with the Indian-inspired after sampling a few. You can have it in a cup, on a waffle cone, sweet bun, or as a banana split.We chose the falooda kulfi and decided to get it on a sweet bun, heated. I love the pastrami burger (like a LOT) but my go-to is my "Texan Style" dbl with jalapeños, all the way, mustard only, well done to get a crispy outside - they're never dry, by the way, Burger Shack has that on lock. It hits all the right tangy, spicy cheesy notes, every time. (They're "the good jalapeños," by the way, that just-right ballpark nacho type.)Their shakes are great if you're being extra extravagant, and even though the fried mushrooms and fried zucchini are sysco or equivalent, they're so tasty with the excellent ranch that they're hard to pass up!"

"The Lulu's that I know and love is back! It had been a minute since we had last dined at Lulu's due to the fact that they no longer offered the veggie burger I loved. I was so sad because I love Lulu's fries and milkshakes too.Fast forward a year or so and I had a craving for a Lulu's milkshake, mint chip if you please. We were also hungry for dinner so I quickly checked the online menu to see if there was an entree I would like. To my pleasant surprise my beloved veggie burger had returned! Needless to say we headed out the door and made our way to Lulu's.My veggie burger did not disappoint! My husband enjoyed his cheeseburger and we split the family order of fries naturally. "This hamburger joint has changed ownership and re-opened as Queen. The menu is a little smaller, and of course, prices have gone up like everywhere else. I noticed they seemed to finally stop remodeling so I went through the drive thru for a quick dinner today. I noticed they had a special: three combos for $20 and went for that. The hamburgers are just as good if not better than before and the portion of fries was big. These are crispy crinkle cut fries, pretty yummy. Service was good. I'm looking forward to getting familiar with the new menu haha"

It is perfectly situated close to the HWY 99 entrance and exit on the way to and from HWY 145. Over the years, with our many California road trips during ski team season and camping season, Frosty Queen in Madera is hands down our favorite fast food stop."

This place has nailed the balance of all the ingredients for this dish. Another snack that's soo yummy here is their corn esquite! I always come here when I'm craving one. I've tried many different places for esquite and this one comes out on top. My FAVORITE place for Mexican snack goodies. They are reasonably priced and their portion size is good! A lot of places are overpriced when it comes to Mexican goodies. In addition, the customer service is great!! There is usually the same girl working there and she is always soo sweet :,) They get really busy here and even then she's always so nice. Her customer service is definitely the cherry on top that keeps me coming here. If you come here I recommend to try their corn esquite, fresas con crema or mangoneada depending on what you're craving."

Sareeth(sp) was nice enough to bring my donuts out to my car after telling her that I became paralyzed from the nipple line down. She as vey empathetic towards my situation and personally hand delivered my donuts to me and engaged IN GOOD CASUAL CONVO. These are the important things that go a long way with customers and is why I will continue top support them. Now as far as the donuts. The earlier you get them the better. As you can surmise, I do not like yogurt. What I really don't like are the exorbitant prices that yogurt shops charge. Yogurt must be like crack to those who love it. At least that is what it seems like to me with all the ridiculous pricing. For that I have to give them one less star.I prefer Menchies over their local competitor who shall remain nameless. They both sell Dole whip, but their competitor does not have it on a daily basis. Hence the reason I come here when I need my Pineapple fix."

I got the chamoy flavored ice cream and I was not disappointed, I was surprised there was an Ice cream that flavor!! My son got the chocolate, also delicious. I also ordered the hot Cheetos with corn, it was corn soup with hot Cheetos on top, also delicious. My mother enjoyed the watermelon ice cream on a stick. The customer service here is top notch!!! This location is a little smaller than some of the other locations and has no outdoor seating. Ice creams, aguas and munchies, Mexican treats a plenty here.I've been to this location a couple times since recently opening and yes it was busy after opening but now has died down a little. I like to go places when I think there will not be many people, if it's packed I will come back another time. My last visit there was only two people inside (WINNING). Yes masks are required, staff wear them too. The munchies, ice creams and drinks are all pretty good, the selection and variety is better than most by the way. Price is affordable and I usually buy extra paletas to keep in the freezer. The store is clean but could be cleaner (door sanitizing) etc. Paying is easy if you have a card with a chip. No swiping or inserting, just tap the card on the device and done. This is the only place in town I would recommend if your looking.."
