"I was ready for a little mommy make over. It was My first Mother's Day and I wanted to get pampered. I was referred by a coworker. Lena was the hairstylist that I made an appointment with. I sent her a message with a few questions and she kindly responded. I made an appointment through her IG (@myhairlady.lm) "Book Now" icon and I was able to choose from her availabilities and book with no problem. Location is downtown at the lofts. I've never been so I made sure I went a few mins early just incase I had trouble looking for the place. The day of my appointment she messaged me saying she was running alittle behind, no big deal. I still decided to come early. I parked at a metered parking close to the building. The tricky part for me was getting in. I guess I went into the side that was locked. Lucky one of the workers from the building was kind enough to put the door password in to let me in. After that I took the elevators up and the loft where the salon was located was easy to find. Beautiful, chic interior with beautiful views of downtown. Lena greeted me and we talked about the style/cut I wanted done for my hair. I don't ever do anything fancy just a wash, cut and style. She took her time we went over my dry scalp issue and recommended products and hair brushes to use. She was very knowledgeable and super sweet. After the wash and cut she dried my hair and styled it with just a hair drier and a boar bristle brush. My hair was so soft, light, voluminous and she styled it beautifully. I loved the outcome of my hair, she did an amazing job. I wanted to take her home so she could do style my hair just like this daily. I had a wonderful experience with Lena. Highly recommend and I will be returning."

It was my first time to this salon so I was a bit nervous but as soon as I talked to the staff and saw the cleanliness of this place, I felt more comfortable. The young lady that did my hair was very welcoming and had a great time talking to her. She was diligent, helpful, and made sure I was comfortable with any changes in my hair cut. My hair needed some good trimming and wanted some styling. She was able to deliver and loved the way she styled my hair. Definitely becoming a regular and thinking of making a hair color appointment for highlights soon. I'll keep y'all posted for that!"

"I'm constantly on the search for a good hairdresser. I always find gold mines every now and again, and then I always feel the need for a change. Maybe that's my OCD with my hair? I was visiting one of my friends in Fresno, and she recommended this beauty salon and hair dresser (Trish) to me. The salon was very clean, modern, great music, and always friendly faces. :) I went to see Trish that works there....and OOOO....EEEEMMM.....GGGEEEEE....She is SO freakin good!! Not only did she quickly "get" what I wanted, but was super fast and efficient. I'm used to going home with a numb butt, a wet back, and very nauseous from the 3.5+ hours of smelling the salon.....I was in and out of there in 1.5 hours. Can you say AWESOME?!?! The only sad part is that I don't live in the 'NO to make this my go to place....BUT....every time I head up there, I def wanna make her apart of my visit...I mean, It'll be only 1.5 hours out of my visit!! ;) There are many different ladies from different age groups and different styles....but all in all, they all seemed to know what they were doing...AND they all have great rapport (SO important)."

"My first visit to 507 Day Spa & Salon was a pleasant one. I went for a massage and it was really fantastic. Debra does an amazing job and is incredibly attentive and professional. She uses the right amount of pressure, really dialing it in to your specific preference. My one issue wasn't to do with service, really it was just an unfortunate side effect from the massage oils--it made me break out TERRIBLY so if you've got sensitive skin, it might be worth it to mention that and check the ingredients in said oils before your massage. I would definitely come back in the future, but will inquire ahead of time about an alternative because the actual massage was really really good.I also got a hair cut. Stephanie did a really good job, but try as I might I can't get it to look quite as good styling-wise since I left the salon. It's also a bit shorter than I felt like I had communicated, but I feel like I probably didn't communicate my need to be able to pull it back/up as quite an important need as it is in my daily life. Don't let this turn you off though from her work, she's a great stylist and you can see how talented she is just by checking out her Instagram."

Just talk to the owner, Renee and she will hook you up. Most places offer RockStar nails for $50-75 and did you know they can be fake..? Well at Savvy, they do them for $25! Amazing. And it's authentic, ask them to show you their collection.Every time I go here, I know I'm going to be treated right and have exactly what I want done. And the cute little house environment helps. :)"

"I've been going to Janna @ Elite 1 for the better part of...well, the entire time I've lived in Fresno, pretty much, so about 17 years. She is an awesome colorist and her cuts are incredible. She's a huge talent and if you're super-picky about a great cut as I am, then she's the one to see. I prefer razor cuts for a really great sharp-edged cut and I can go for months if necessary, w/out a cut due to her incredible job. I just wouldn't suggest anyone do so! She's great and you would not be disappointed. Elite 1 is a great all around salon as well, located in the SE Albertson's shopping center at Bullard & First, it's very centrally located as well. They also have several nail artists as well, but I've never had mine done there so I can't review that."

"Update The owner has changed, I went for a service today and the "stylist" was very unprofessional. I went in for my root touch up and after the color was put on my hair the "stylist" then informed me that the 120.00 service I went in for was now 180.00, if I were told of the price change before the service began I would not have proceeded with the service. They have the right to charge whatever price they want but tell the customer of the price change BEFORE THE SERVICE!!!! This is up charging shady business practices. Very sneaky and underhanded. I had even brought the stylists children Christmas gifts, you would think she would have had the professionalism and kindness to inform me before the service started of the price hike. Unethical person with very little consideration for her client."
