They were so accommodating and squeezed me in with Alfonso in the late afternoon.The facility has such beautiful decor and used Redkin products.Alfonso was super friendly and did a great job with my hair! The other stylist at the salon were also very friendly and kind. I was told that the stylist were independent and rent a station at the location. I'm sure whichever stylist you book with will do an amazing job. "Monica knows exactly what she's doing, and the proof is in her portfolio. I went to her this week based off of previous Yelp reviews as well as her Instagram photos. She's worth it if you want your hair done right.The vibe of her salon upbeat, and everyone is treated like family. She KNOWS how to work with us brunettes! She knows we all pull red, but she acts like it's the first time she's heard it. (I was guilty of telling her, too!) I trusted her 100%, because I knew if my hair turned out even half of what the others in the salon looked like afterwards, I'd be more than happy with the outcome. She did not disappoint! The only constructive criticism I have is that all of her communication is done via text. This may be the new way of connecting with people, and I'm old, but I feel it diminishes the personal connection between a hairdresser and her client (especially as a *new* client. This store is mainly marketed to women which consists of hair braiding materials, wigs, hair moisturizers, perms, texturizes, weaves and so on.I didn't get prices on the hairs but it appeared to be affordable. The children's hair accessories were only $1 which was unbelievable as how do they make a profit. They could even raise it to $2, I would still buy it. My niece got to pick out her colors she wanted in her hair which she was a happy camper.They even have a wig try on station and a variety of hairs and textures. If you need a new look or style I will definitely come to this place. There are not many ethic hair places that crater to women of color and I have to say that this place has a large variety.Definitely you will not walk out empty handed."
