"The first thing you'll notice when you walk in to MOTO is the amazing smells...like an old Italian deli full of cured meats, cheeses, etc. The menu consists mainly of salads, pinsarellas (Roman flatbread) and sandwiches. The farro salad is a standout with fresh crisp veggies, farro and burrata tossed with a light lemon vinaigrette. Delicious...and perfect in this summer heat! The salad alone is enough to warrant a return. The flatbreads we tried were also yummy. They also serve up an amazing looking charcuterie. Top it all off with a spritz or a glass of wine, or a local beer.Service was outstanding! Welcoming and friendly but very professional. I loved the feel of this place....a true neighborhood gem with people in families, couples out for date night, small groups of friends, and lots of regulars coming in and out for their to gos.Love this place!"
"Shawarma corner is inside Papaya Fresh international market. It's s nice little Mediterranean market. I really love their Falafel! The Gyro sandwich I had was really good too. Recommend giving them a try!"
"Food never disappoints takes a couple minutes but the roti or your favorite bread is always made to order never expect that prepackaged bread here"
"Perfect place for meat, alcohol, or any other small goods! This place, as others have indicated is one of the better markets in the sequoia park area. I came here to pick up some meat to bbq in my Airbnb and it was perfect! They have raw meat but also already cooked meats as well. I got the ribeye at $16/pound and it was a really good quality. They also have chicken, pastrami, New York cuts, and many more. They also carry small general necessities, milk, chips, soda, water, fruits, canned goods, bbq sauce, etc. The alcohol selection absolutely blew me away! Beers or all kinds, wine of all kinds, and so many choices of hard liquor. All moderately priced as well. There was some really high shelf items too, a 2010 Dom Perignon, 18 year Mccallen, I was impressed. There was also a small section for baked good. I didn't get anything but it was really popular. Almost everybody was walking out with a whole pie or cupcakes. The only downside to this market is the price of the produce. But it's understandable as the products spoil and don't last as long. I still did get some portabella mushrooms to grill and some broccoli. Check this place out if you're staying in the area for sequoia. Perfect for camping needs, quick dinner, or even alcohol binges!"
"I have eaten here many many times and not sure why I didn't review this place on yelp. When it comes to food I'm very particular and hard to please. This place has always met my expectation and done a fantastic job! 1) 99% this is the cleanest, well organized true vegetarian/vegan restaurant/grocery store you will find in Fresno.2) It's in a bit odd location, which is not a big deal.3) Their samosa, Cholay, chutney are best in comparison to other Indian places in Fresno.4) Must try Chole Bhature order. authenticity of the home-cooked meal along with well-balanced spices and herbs.5) Both partners Mr. Singhs are good people, If you have a complaint they work with you to rectify the issue. Thanks, Apna Bazar for providing good service. I hope you can keep up the same recipes and not make any changes to them."
"I've enjoyed regular lunches here for some time...always friendly fast service, great food selections, and sitting outside on nice days with a small dining area inside next to intriguing groceries I've never tasted. For a small place, with lots of choices, like entering a different world for a brief respite (for me at least!) with lots of Indian customers, always a good recommendation for an ethnic place."

One of my favorite places in town to have lunch. I've been numerous times and always order my same sandwich. The Garden of Eaten minus the Mayo. It's always consistent and delicious. I love that the ingredients always taste fresh. Parking can be tricky since it's located near Fresno High. But if you go at off times, you should be fine.

I didn't realize this was so much more than just a market. You can also order plates of food and there is a little sitting section towards the back to eat your food. I like that their produce was pretty unique with prices being about the same price as you would find in most local grocery stores and sometimes they were a little cheaper. I appreciate that they carry fresh bunches of mint for $.79 and cilantro was 2/$1. However what made me uneasy about the refrigerated produce area was that the grated tops that has the water drip system looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. There was a lot of black, rusty/moldy sections. I do like how the fresh meats are covered in plastic wrap in the refrigeration displays. So I can appreciate them keeping the meats cold and sanitary. It's a great place for buying unusual spices, nuts and dried fruits. They also offer so many canned items that are hard to find in traditional grocery stores. The bakery smelled amazing. I love that they even had some fresh sugar free baked goods. All in all, a great international goods market place. Quite the experience! I didn't order any food but next time I will have to try.

This Indian restaurant/grocery store is my favorite midpoint stop to go to when I'm going back and forth from Sacramento.Their pani puri comes in a little cart which is the cutest thing, and Masala chai is to die for! They have a wide variety of groceries and useful items. The store is huge which is nice because they have everything you're looking for. On one side they have a restaurant and the other side is checkout with a variety of sweets to choose from.Overall excellent customer service

Prices were pretty reasonable and they had a pretty good inventory. They were out of stock on cold medicine, but had plenty of "Bonnie" for motion sickness, which you might need if heading up to Sequoia. The roads are very winding. The staff could have been friendlier, which is the main reason I only gave 4 stars.

I only learned of this place a week ago and shopped here for ingredients to make ginger masala chicken. The interior didn't have that much light and some natural sunlight helps illuminate the environment. Boxes are found lying on the ground and there seems to be a shortage of staffs.Had trouble at first to search for masala powder and cloves, but luckily I found them. Each were up to $4.Found myself in the soda aisle in front of the refrigerator/freezer. Thumbs Up were both contained in can and glass bottles. I opted for the glass bottles. A bottle for Thumbs Up costs $1.53, before sales tax. What surprised me was that they served dessert and snack at the back, next to the cashier. They looked good, I wasn't interested at the time. Looking back, I probably consider getting one of the snack/dessert.Despite the crowdedness of the boxes and dim luminescent of the environment, Apna Bazar is worth seeing for Indian products: ingredient, goods, and cooking equipment. It's also worth trying their dessert or snack. They do sale a whole bag of Onions at the door -- so produce is included. I definitely recommend.

Samosas, Chicken Tikki Marsala made spicy, garlic Naan and Basmati rice ordered. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went in to get it. Nice little restaurant. It's also a little grocery store. Indian music playing. They have a little buffet set up for lunch. I went up to the register and told the worker. The order was ready. He was kind. Placed on the front table. Paid for the order. Safe, clean and practiced. Lunchtime! I got everything ready and split up per usual. There was a problem. They didn't include the Basmati rice mother wanted. She was not happy and called. The worker was kind and apologized. Looks like they were having trouble keeping up with all the orders and there was no charge. Thankfully! The Samosa was really good! Even better with the green, spicy sauce.Chicken Tikki was really good! A little messy and there wasn't much chicken, but the sauce was spicy and tasty! Garlic Naan was really good too! Mother said her lunch was good. She liked the samosa and liked the spice. She thought there should be more chicken too.Good service and good food. Hope it will get better to coordinate orders right.

Stopped in here via a recommendation for my friend and was pleasantly surprised.I popped in here around 8 o'clock and ordered a supreme carne asada burrito. Supreme means it comes with pico de gallo, sour cream, and guac. This burrito was massive and had huge tender chunks of carne asada throughout the burrito. The rice was cooked perfect, not mushy, and the beans were also delightful. I got their verde salsa with it and I wish I had four cups instead of two. This stuff was delicious! This taqueria is part of the grocery store and also serves nachos, tacos, and other weekly special specials. Their taco Tuesday special is three tacos for five bucks! That's a pretty sweet deal. Connected to the Taqueria is their deli and butcher section which allows you to see where all of their meat comes from. They have a huge selection of fresh proteins and other pre-cooked deli foods. They also sell trays of rice, beans, and your choice of meat if you're looking to host a party. The grocery store is small, but loaded with all sorts of unique spices and other Mexican food items you can't find at most local grocery stores. They had almost an entire isle dedicated to just MASA! They also carry all the grocery store basics as well, milk, eggs, etc.Super friendly staff, and if I lived near here, this would probably be a weekly burrito or taco stop for me!

"I probably wouldn't come here again. It wasn't horrible but it isn't a place I would tell others about (other than Yelp). My first complaint would be that I had to eat my tacos in my car and stink it up of onions because there is not one place to sit down. I would've walked right out after noticing that, but I didn't want to be rude plus I wasn't all that hungry so 2 tacos was plenty. My two consisted of Al Pastor and Chile Verde. They both looked really good, but weren't all that great. They were just another average taco in a town where 4 taco places are within blocks of each other. The tortilla was handmade which gets soggy right away especially when it's to go and the steam from the foil makes it worse! Eeeek Call me weird but I like simple machine made yellow corn tortillas for my tacos. Lady helping me was nice until she asked why I was taking a bunch of pics. She was a little rude until I told her they were for Yelp which I explained was a review service site for the people from the people. She made me nervous and kind of made me feel like I just got yelled at by my mom :/ Anyway they have a mini meat section and a few produce items as well as pastries and drinks around this store/taco joint. I didn't try anything but the tacos."
"I tried the new AL PASTOR tacos! They have to be the best I've ever had!!! Must try Also Asada burrito is always my go to"
"The parking is atrocious! So be aware lol. Anywho this market is pretty convenient. I'm sure it serves its purpose in this area. The hot food line can get sooooooo long. Every time i come it's a hot minute wait! But the food is so delicious!! The last time i ordered the hot food here. I was actually doing laundry and made the walk wit my sibling because i was craving. FULFILLED! It was worth the walk. (I needed my miles in and it was definitely a nice reward) ahaha. Some of the staff are NOT friendly but that's OK! I give you a pass for the most part. There's a bunch of sketchies that enter the establishment! Chili verde burrito/tacos!!! Hello darling :3 you are my absolute weakness."
"5/18/24 Pretty Great experience! I was at Miguel's getting Brea and saw they had a pretty great wine selection. Fresno State Pinot Noir wins. Also got a single bottle of Chardonnay for mother. The worker was very kind! Great service & store! Highly recommended!"
"Coworkers and I were trying to decide what to eat since it was 3 of us working Easter Sunday, Place was clean and all food "looked" delicious. CoWorker who got the half chicken plate gave it a 4 stars it did smell and look delicious.Myself and other coworker gave our plates a solid 3 Tri Tip combo she gave them a 3 because she found a hair in her sandwich, but she is willing to give them another shot ordering something else.I gave a 3 because my tacos lacked flavor and asada fries meat was good but fries and no seasoning"
"Stopped by to get water and found a taquieria (sp?). Holy sh** the food is good and HUGE. Highly recommend the chile verde burrito or anything with torta. She literally took 10 minutes to build a fu***** torta. Recommend if you are traveling back roads of fresno county"
"Found this gem while driving through downtown a while back and finally had an opportunity to stop in. Finding Mexican ingredients for cooking is often limited at bigger chain stores which makes this a blessing. With the holidays coming up, it means it's almost tamale making time.Further, while not having tried their burritos I did notice one being made which was the size comparable to the end of a baseball bat, huge. Can't wait to buy one. Out is easily two meals in size."
"Pretty large selection of items. Good prices. Big parking lot. Friendly service. Glad we stopped here because we didn't see much else en route to Sequioa National Park (everything at their general store was overpriced naturally). My one major gripe was with the produce. It was in pretty bad shape - wrinkly and definitely not shelf material."
