I much prefer to support local chains rather and generally prefer the quality of them too. This spot was a great choice! My turkey sandwich was loaded with meat and all the other toppings I love were fresh. I love that they offered black olives. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was a variety of mustards available. For instance, I prefer a deli or spicy mustard to plain yellow but there's at least only one option listed on the online order form."

"The first thing you'll notice when you walk in to MOTO is the amazing smells...like an old Italian deli full of cured meats, cheeses, etc. The menu consists mainly of salads, pinsarellas (Roman flatbread) and sandwiches. The farro salad is a standout with fresh crisp veggies, farro and burrata tossed with a light lemon vinaigrette. Delicious...and perfect in this summer heat! The salad alone is enough to warrant a return. The flatbreads we tried were also yummy. They also serve up an amazing looking charcuterie. Top it all off with a spritz or a glass of wine, or a local beer.Service was outstanding! Welcoming and friendly but very professional. I loved the feel of this place....a true neighborhood gem with people in families, couples out for date night, small groups of friends, and lots of regulars coming in and out for their to gos.Love this place!"

"Not only do they make an amazing sandwich, but they have Dutch crunch bread! This place is located directly across the street from Fresno State and luckily I got here just as the lunch rush was starting around 11am. I went with a cold Italian sandwich for lunch and an order of beer batters fries. This sandwich comes with pastrami, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese. I got it with the works; onions, peppers, lettuce, oil vinegar, the whole 9 yards. You can tell they put care into their products because everything on this sandwich tasted super fresh. I went with the 8-inch and probably would've been fine with the 6-inch since I also ordered a side of fries. The portions here do not disappoint. We all know it really makes a sandwich is the bread and their Dutch crunch bread was fantastic. Also called Tiger Bread, the spread is super soft on the inside with a nice crunchy top. They make it by brushing a paste of rice flour, sugar, water, and yeast over the bread partway through rising process in the oven. If you see this on the menu anywhere, order it, trust me it's a flavor and textural explosion.You can dine in, get your order to go, or order through their website for delivery or curbside. The inside is pretty basic with a few tables and a small TV in the corner. Perfect if you're looking to get off your feet and fill your tummy. Parking is tight and like I said, I got here right before the lunch rush which had the line almost going out the door. Snack smart Central Valley Yelpers!"

"Missed this place so much since I moved out of Cali! I forgot got how good these sandwiches were and their quality is so wonderful. Avocados were so fresh and ripe with the right amount of turkey! I waited awhile to get my food but I don't mind because I know they're layering the inside of my sandwich so nicely and carefully. It's not splattered on and a mess like other sandwich spots. I also ordered the fries and it came out super hot with bomb seasoning. Best sandwich ever, I love this place."

This new sandwich place in town will surprise you with just how good they are in terms of taste and quality, I didn't think much of this place at first- I mean how good can another sandwich place be right?, but boy was I wrong, this place is different and definitely better than most sandwich places in Fresno. I would recommend trying their hot sandwich- Philly Cheesesteak, it is really good and I will tell you more. The Philly Cheesesteak ($7.95) for normal size was phenomenal, a hot perfect mess in your mouth. It had soft warm bread with very nice soft texture as you bite in, yet slightly crispy on the outside. The filling was oozing with cheese, just the way this dish was intended, the beef was fresh and not from cold-cuts. The beef was tender in texture, tasted great and portions was generous. Also the sandwich was nice and toasty as I was holding it in my hand to enjoy every bite. It was not just food that I was impressed with, their customer service is worth mentioning, because they have really helpful, fun, lively, energetic and great customer service skills. The store is also very hip and new looking with beautiful decor of wood floors, surf board on the wall, a widescreen tv, bar stools, and a clean looking sandwich and ordering area. I am looking forward to come back for their cold sandwich next time."

I got the pastrami sandwich. It tastes similar to pastrami at The Hat for those in Southern California. It has the right amount of salty and greasy that I like with fast food pastrami sandwiches. One thing that's different is that they put tomato slices and mayonnaise in the sandwich too. I think the mayonnaise makes it taste much better compared to mustard. Ordered the hot pastrami and sauerkraut with all the fixings. The pastrami was thinly sliced, not fatty with a nice black peppered edge. The sauerkraut was good and tangy. Some sauerkrauts lack flavor, but the kraut in this sandwich was perfect. The flavors in this sandwich meat, kraut, sauce, fixings perfectly married. I opted for the Dutch crunch bread which was perfect for this sandwich. Also ordered a side of fried pickles. Happy to say that they were more "pickle" than breading. "Met someone here for a quick lunch meeting and it was pretty slow so our orders came out fast. I ordered the turkey, avocado, and sprouts sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. If you've never had Dutch crunch bread, it's essentially a soft white bread with a very crunchy crispy outer coating. This added some great texture to my mushy sandwich.The mushy part was primarily my fault due to the fact that I added all the fixings which included tomato, s&p, hot peppers, oil, and vinegar. The sandwich had great flavor, but was incredibly messy and fell apart about 3/4 of the way through. Even though the sandwich fell apart I was happy to eat it with a fork since it was loaded with a turkey. Pricing is on point compared to most sandwich, places, in fact, this might have been a little lower than some other spots I visit. The venue seemed very clean, but the staff here isn't their friendliest. Which is fine because I'm not coming to Deli Delicious to make new friends. I'm here fill my belly and get on with my day.If you are just going to pop in to get your sandwich for pick up, I highly recommend calling ahead to order or using their website. This place can get very busy during the lunch hour."

When we were passing through town this place was a must stop. The sandwiches are fresh and made to order just like I remember. They have so many great ones to choose from or you can make your own. We also loved the fries (miss the curly fries but the new ones are good). The employees are awesome, and are very accommodating. They use to have a location in SLO and my husband and I drove out every single weekend until they closed. It's that good. Fingers crossed the open up again out my way."

It was supposed to have salami, ham, pepperoni, and capicola. So what I received was one slice of each of those. I think I received 3 slices of meat total. "Jersey Mike's is finally open in the Loma Vista shopping center! I popped in here for lunch to grab a sandwich for myself and my daughter. The place was packed, but they had about eight people behind the counter which made the line move very fast. Not sure if that's gonna be the normal, but if it is, I might be in here more often. I ordered an 8-inch cold Italian sub Mike's Way with the addition of the red pepper spread. It was good and that spread is delicious. The flavors were spot on, the bread was fresh, and the service was on point. I know Jersey Mike's is a chain deli, but the one thing they do that most chain places don't is have consistency. The sandwiches are always stacked high and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint, and this is truly not Jersey Mike's fault, but the prices are a little on the high side. I feel that that might be due to the rent in this new shopping center. Hopefully that will balance out in the future and keep prices some more reasonable. I'm so so excited to see the Loma Vista shopping center come to life!"
