"Love it! I ordered their original hot chicken sandwich with a tender, and my partner ordered just the original hot chicken sandwich. They both come with fries. Value-wise, adding a tender is definitely worth it.Flavor-wise, the sandwich looks better than any you can get from a fast food chain, and it was incredibly moist. I had a medium spice level, and it was absolutely delicious.The service was awesome; however, some of the dine-in booth tables were a bit greasy. It would be nice if they cleaned up every time after a customer used them."

"Easy to find location (former A&W restaurant) downtown. Food is definitely made to order, so don't expect it to be too fast (I waited about 5-7 minutes total from order to receiving food). Both inside and outside the restaurant were clean. Parking can be a challenge; however, I arrived at 3:45pm and had no issues. Okay, let's talk about the food. Amazing! Spicy chicken sandwich was large compared to other places. The sandwich was not spicy at all (which I like). Crinkled cut french fries were delicious. The prices were excellent especially for the quality. Staff were also friendly, so that's a bonus. I would definitely return."

"Very delicious chicken sandwich, with just the right amount of heat. Staff friendly and overall, it was a pretty good lunch. Also the amount that I paid I'm not entirely sure I will go back. Location around one in the afternoon on a Sunday with some friends. The place was busy. About half of the dining room was filled when I got there. And there was a line of this at 6 people ahead of me. Honestly, this made me very excited to try this place.First off let's talk about the location. The inside of the restaurant works like a fast food place. No frills dining rooms, with just a space for about 30 to 40 people. The bathroom is dirty, rundown, and looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. Let's talk about the food. Chicken slider sandwiches that I ordered were cooked perfectly. The chicken was perfectly moist, and the medium level heat was just right. The slaw was fresh, and the pickles were dill. They were tasty sandwiches. The fries that came with them were also great. It tasted as though they added some of the spicy seasoning to the fries as well. Again, pretty tasty.All things considered, this is a pretty good place to go. However if I'm going to be spending $16, I likely will not be spending it here. If food was pretty good good, but the location was not. If I go to this place again, I will likely get my food to go."

"So funny story... my husband and I did not plan to eat here. We had a fancy dinner at the darling hotel but it was so expensive we couldn't afford large meals. So afterward we were so hungry and this was the only place open late on a Sunday night that was close by. I have to say I've never had fried chicken that was so sticky and sweet like this place. I think my husband ordered a honey bbq. It was SO good and the chicken was crispy the way I like it. My husband ordered spicy sauce but said it wasn't spicy enough (he's pretty hardcore) but he still enjoyed the flavor! Just writing out this review is making me miss the chicken..... but I'm 3 hours away. Sorry no photos--the chicken did not last long. lol!"

"So good. I'm super impressed. The flavor is so good high quality crispy tenders, I got mild and it was still pretty spicy for me, soft sweet buns, the slaw is crisp and tastes great. The star of the show was the waffle. It didn't need the syrup. It was crispy, buttery and sweet. I'm picky about macaroni and cheese so I won't get that again but I've yet to find a good Mac and cheese at a chicken shop so do with that what you will. I will definitely come back, these halal spots have upped their game."

"I enjoy the tacos from El Pollo Loco. Love the loco salad with that creamy cilantro dressing as well. My gripe is the service at the drive thru- it can be friendlier. Further, every time I order my tacos they forget the avocado. I'm paying $7 and some change for (2) tacos and get jipped. I even tell them "please do not forget the avocado this time" and they still don't put the avo in. I think I might cut this location out and just go to the one on west shaw."

"I stopped here for the 1st time and am always reluctant when trying out a new spot because you never what your going to get. Fortunately I received great customer service and my food was excellent. The burgers had a great sauce, the fries were cooked perfectly and not over-seasoned and cheese sticks were good as well. We were very pleased with the food because many spots nowadays just use the same "Tik Tok sauce" on their burgers and we are getting tired of that same ol same ol taste. It was refreshing to see that this spot reverted back to old fashioned style tasting burgers of the past. It really reminded me of how burgers tasted when I was a young boy in the late 70's early 80's. They were great! I will definitely go back whenever I am in the area. Great job guys! Thank you"

"Drive thru order! My husband was craving some extra crispy chicken. It was about 4pm and no line at the drive thru, I placed the order for a meal, and thankfully the worker asked whether I wanted regular or extra crispy, because I already had forgotten that part! Then, when I got to the window, the gentleman let me know that there were only regular chicken breasts and asked if that was "okay" or if I wanted another cut of meat in extra crispy, I let him know that was fine, since I usually eat those. I don't know what it was about this interaction, but he was very clear and communicated this well. I don't think I often get great interactions from fast food staff and I appreciated his friendly demeanor. Food was pretty typical KFC! It's not my favorite fried chicken, but I love their mashed potatoes and gravy. :)"

"Do not buy from this kfc. Please just go somewhere else. They have some sorry ass people working and don't even cook the chicken all the way. My chicken was soggy and crumbs were everywhere. The coating were falling off the chicken. And worst of all they made us wait in the front of the store and completely forgot about or order. What a disaster ! Not going here ever again."
