"This place is very trendy. We got there mid morning. I think we missed the crowds. We got there just in time. They sat us down very quick. It was just my two daughters and I. Gaby our waitress was so nice, kind and very helpful. She wrote everything down to the dot as how I wanted my chilaquiles. My daughter got the hot chocolate and it was very cute with whip cream on top and some sprinkles. I got coffee and then we ordered the breakfast. It was pancakes breakfast, the western omelet with potatoes and the special chilaquiles. Everything came out very good and they didn't take that long to serve it. We would definitely come back because it's a cute cozy place to have breakfast. They also offered some things like honey, cookies, nuts, home made granola. And many more things. I really liked it there."

"Maggie loves cafes so I found Red Caboose Cafe to try after a day exploring Kings Canyon National Park. It was hot outside but inside the AC was working well. I was really impressed by the decor. Hanging from the ceiling were train tracks. Nice waitress asked if we wanted to watch the trains run? We did. When I was a kid one year I got a train set and I ran the train around our Christmas tree. We enjoyed watching the trains while waiting for our food.Dinner roll was fluffy and I liked the mild flavor.Beef barley soup featured tender flavorful beef. I rarely eat beef barley soup but this one was delicious and I would order it again.Onion rings had a crunchy batter and had lots of onion flavor. Standard fast food type onion ring.Honey fried chicken featured crunchy batter with honey drizzled on top. Chicken was tender and juicy. Loved the salty and sweet flavors. One of my favorite fried chicken dishes.Service was great from the friendly and efficient staff. I'm looking forward to more delicious fried chicken and beef barley soup on our next trip to Kings Canyon. Hope the trains will be running again. Red Caboose Cafe is one of the coolest cafes I've ever visited."

"Pretty good food! Service was okay, could be better, but it's a purchase than sit kind of place, so guess you can't expect a whole lot. We arrived in the late afternoon on a Sunday, not too much going on, a few people at tables, but they took our order right away, and we had no issue finding a place to sit. The food was delicious. We each ordered the Choose 2. I ordered the chicken rosa pasta and the chicken pomodori panini, with a side caesar salad. The caesar salad was average, reminded me of bagged caesar salad, except for the croutons, those were house made and yummy. Both the panini and the pasta had very similar flavors for sure, kind of a tomato, basil, pesto, spinach thing going on. Which was fine for me, but if you're looking for variety don't order these two together! My friend got a cup of tomato soup, and the choose 2 with the chicken pesto sandwich and the pesto cavatappi. She said both were delicious too. She had the dragon fruit tea and did not care for it though. I've had breakfast BBLT & Egg sandwich before and it is so good (worth adding avocado too.) Both in house and on Door dash. Very much a "panera" type place and for being something I could get good food to go, for the same price as a fast food restaurant, It's pretty good to me. Oh! my other complaint, besides service, was the to go containers felt so flimsy."

I loved the creaminess of thier gravy and the biscuits were flaky and wonderful. They also had a great verity of other breakfast and diner type items on the menu. I plan to visit again soon."

"Wanted to stop in for a little snack. I was really amazed by the variety of sweets. They had on display in the shop.There are so much to choose from. As soon as you walk in the vibe is wonderful. Love the music that they have playing, the chairs are comfortable a nice place to order a coffee and a croissant and relax. I sit there with my girls talking for well over an hour, and they never rushed us out. The place is really cute inside love the flower wall. Even though there's tons of pink everywhere, none of it was dirty, all of the chairs were clean, all of the tables were clean, the coffee bar was clean. It was really nice inside. The Coffee's were great. I would totally go back again. We got a few of the treats, but sorry I didn't get any pictures of them. We devoured them as soon as they touch the table."

"I am speechless !!! Beyond my taste buds of an experience, the chicken penne pasta salad is one of the best salads I ever had! I couldn't get a picture of the delicious desserts I had but I had a slice of carrot cake as well as the orange cream cake and let me just say WOW!!!! My waitress Genesis was sweet and attentive with everything I needed! The restaurant was very warm, roomy, and welcoming. If I didn't live 45 minutes away, that would be my go-to!!!"
