"Pretty good food! Service was okay, could be better, but it's a purchase than sit kind of place, so guess you can't expect a whole lot. We arrived in the late afternoon on a Sunday, not too much going on, a few people at tables, but they took our order right away, and we had no issue finding a place to sit. The food was delicious. We each ordered the Choose 2. I ordered the chicken rosa pasta and the chicken pomodori panini, with a side caesar salad. The caesar salad was average, reminded me of bagged caesar salad, except for the croutons, those were house made and yummy. Both the panini and the pasta had very similar flavors for sure, kind of a tomato, basil, pesto, spinach thing going on. Which was fine for me, but if you're looking for variety don't order these two together! My friend got a cup of tomato soup, and the choose 2 with the chicken pesto sandwich and the pesto cavatappi. She said both were delicious too. She had the dragon fruit tea and did not care for it though. I've had breakfast BBLT & Egg sandwich before and it is so good (worth adding avocado too.) Both in house and on Door dash. Very much a "panera" type place and for being something I could get good food to go, for the same price as a fast food restaurant, It's pretty good to me. Oh! my other complaint, besides service, was the to go containers felt so flimsy."

"This bakery is such a local treasure! I contacted them to see if they could make bear cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday and I provided a couple examples. They said they could, but I was still somewhat skeptical how well they would turn out. They exceeded every expectation! They were absolutely adorable - and they truly tasted as amazing as they looked. Worth every penny!"

"This place is very trendy. We got there mid morning. I think we missed the crowds. We got there just in time. They sat us down very quick. It was just my two daughters and I. Gaby our waitress was so nice, kind and very helpful. She wrote everything down to the dot as how I wanted my chilaquiles. My daughter got the hot chocolate and it was very cute with whip cream on top and some sprinkles. I got coffee and then we ordered the breakfast. It was pancakes breakfast, the western omelet with potatoes and the special chilaquiles. Everything came out very good and they didn't take that long to serve it. We would definitely come back because it's a cute cozy place to have breakfast. They also offered some things like honey, cookies, nuts, home made granola. And many more things. I really liked it there."

(Shade is provided during summer and heat lamps during the cooler months)So much detail has been put into the surroundings inside the cafe. Vintage décor. It's very cool.There are couches and tables to eat at and I can't forget to mention other cushy and comfy seating inside that is available for the clients. "Ah, I love it here! I work in the Robert E. Coyle Courthouse & will stop by the cafe when I'm too lazy to walk across the street lol but to be fair, my lunch is only 30 minutes. Anywho....Alex is awesome - he will greet you once you walk in & take your order. He knows me but name now & knows exactly how I like my BLT sandwich lol!! & Martha is the best! Her food is delicious. She has a daily special that usually includes a drink & sometimes chips or fries. She also has a soup of the day. I wish I had pictures of all the yummy food I've had here, but I'm usually always too hungry to snap a pic. I did however snap a picture of her southwestern chicken wrap which was sooo flavorful! It had chicken, lettuce, corn salad, tortilla chips, cheese, drizzled in a chipotle style sauce...all wrapped up & grilled lightly in a spinach tortilla wrap. Bomb.com *If you ever stop by - try out her meatloaf. I personally haven't tried it yet because it's always sold out by the time I get to the cafe - but my coworkers rave about it!!"

"2/28/25 Getting breakfast for Sunday! Hot and New!!Of course, ended up getting much more! Worked out that way in the waiting....They were busy!! This time the line wasn't going out the door. Waited a bit and ordered a large Spiced Ube Latte with almond milk. Steak breakfast burrito and granola bowl. Also saw a Blueberry Lemon Muffin and got that for a dinner. I was going to get lunch too, but the worker told me they don't start serving lunch until 11. Paid for it and waited. Definitely an open atmosphere with lots of different seating set ups. I didn't take many pictures because there were A LOT of people. Full house! Laid back atmosphere. Music playing. They have seating to outside if you want too! Looks like a patio....Order was called and it was almost 11 by then. Asked the worker if I could order lunch. She asked the manager and he said okay. The worker that called my order recommended the South of the Border bowl. Got that for lunch and paid for it and waited more. Luckily, I noticed while waiting, the blueberry lemon muffin I ordered and paid for wasn't in there. Told the worker. Like I said, VERY busy!! This time the line was going out the door. She was happy to get me my blueberry lemon muffin. Waited a bit more...this time the line was going way out the door! Quite a bit more waiting. At least it's a nice, low key atmosphere. Waited a bit more...A bit bit more waiting....Received order later with a thank you! Wishing them the best with how busy it is! Lunchtime!South of the Border bowl was Really Great! DELICIOUS and flavorful! Steak cooked perfectly!! Good amount. Leftovers too!! Granola Bowl, steak breakfast burrito and lemon blueberry muffin look really Good for Sunday too!! I'll add it then. Make sure, if you go in, that you have the time! I was in there about an hour. It took about 15 min to order and 35 minutes to get first order. Then, another 15 minutes to receive the rest, 2nd order. It was worth it!! Make sure you check you check if you're picking it up too! Breakfast does looks Really Good for Sunday and muffin for a dinner! Appreciated the good service too!! Definitely Highly Recommended for the food! Makes sense why it's on the Hot & New list and why it's so busy! Good service too! Recommended!!"

Sometimes you get a friendly cashier/barista and sometimes you get someone with the personality of a wet towel idly passing their time. The coffee is tasty but if you're looking for a pick me up you'd need to add some shots of espresso. The pastries are off the hook through flakey pastry. Their toasts are great just sometimes a long wait. Coffee tend to be a longer wait too as there's one espresso machine. The ambiance is cute and contemporary."

One reason is that because they have the fully equipped kitchen that can cook up some yummy breakfasts as opposed to Fresno. Their breakfast burrito alone will bring you back time and time again! They make really unique home made donuts too here if you got that sweet tooth. This time, ordered a big breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, potatoes and fruit. It kept me nice and full for my shopping trip across the street at the outlets. Lattes are a fan fave but I just get the black iced coffee (flash brew) it never disappoints. Really enjoy the outdoor space at this new location. It shares it with Quesadilla Gorilla. ( same owners) Look forward to coming back!"

"First time being here! I've always looked at the reviews to find that there are no pictures of the space or pictures of the menu, so I decided to do a more detailed review. I've heard of this place a few times and finally had time to try it out!Visually: It's a cute, decorated, and very spacious place. Super clean, spread out, and different types of seating; whether you like sitting in a high chair, low chair, or a booth. The booths have access to charging which is a must especially if you'll be working here for awhile. The tables are big and wide which is a huge plus! Most of the other coffee shops in town don't have big tables so it always feels crammed and hard to do work, but thankfully the tables here are big enough to bring out your stuff and work.Internet: They do give out internet codes that are valid for an hour after you log in. I don't see it as an inconvenience, but I feel that some people might. It's a super easy process to log in, so not a problem for me. I think the place being connected to Merced County of Education could be the reason why they might have to keep track of wifi usage, given that maybe there are students who work here or are in the space.Service: Excellent service! Nice and polite staff. If you're seated, they will bring you your drinks and food, which is really nice, especially if you're working! I saw the staff, sanitizing the tables and seats after customers sat down and left.Menu: Huge variety of drinks. What's available is hot or cold coffee, tea, smoothies, fountain drinks, juice, and water. They have a pretty big breakfast, lunch, and salad menu. All items are served at all hours of their opening hours, which is very convenient!What I ordered:Drink: Hot Matcha Latte with an extra scoop of matcha and substituted the milk for oatmilk. "We've been frequenting Camp 4 for many years, so I find it hard to believe that I've never reviewed it before! Simply put, this is the absolute best date spot in Modesto, Quick tip: make a reservation, just makes things easier. When you first walk in, you immediately notice the ambiance, and the front area is dimly lit seems kind of small, but it's the perfect atmosphere to enjoy yourself and your company. But don't think that's all, there is a huge annex in the back that can accommodate larger parties. The food is simply incredible, they almost always have something special on the menu that they didn't the month before. Always gives you something new to try. The wine selection is awesome and they offer wine flights, if you'd like to try a few different wines at once. I've tried most things on the menu, from the paninis to the baller board. I cannot recommend the baller board enough, it's an absolute enormous selection of meats, cheeses, nuts, and fruit selections. They explain the entire board and give you all the details about each item. Please, give Camp 4 a try if you haven't already. I promise it'll be your next go to spot."
