"I love this place! Been going here for years and have enjoyed every plate. The burgers are juicy and cooked just right. I had the Frenchie and my brother had the crab Louie but in a sandwich with bacon! Both were sooooo good. Our waitress was pretty amazing as well. We ordered some garlic fries before our entrees and she brought everything out as they were ordered making all our food super fresh as we were eating. "Im a first time customer and came in shortly after opening on a Thursday. The place gives a comfortable home type feel. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with a side of mash potatoes. The sandwich was good quality although it was lacking a flavor or some sort, I couldn't put my finger on it. (Maybe more aioli? Seasoning on the chicken? A good addition would be bacon, I don't know if they have it though!) The mash and gravy were great. I also ordered a hot caramel macchiato which was great! I originally went in for the old school red steer french dip which I haven't had in years but changed my mind last minute! It was cooked well. No complaints. Nothing to write home about. Ambiance:The outside is lit up like the Vegas strip haha which I appreciated. Everyone was very nice, and maybe they were just a little busy with the rush so we had to flag folks down a lot but overall still very good. The food came out very quickly! She sat me down even though they were about to close, and she was really nice. The ambiance was great! I felt I was taken into Disney book, I wish my kids were with me but unfortunately I was I northern cal for work, but I'm hoping they will open a location in Los Angeles. Among the most popular restaurants and arguably some of the best Mexican food in town. Always a fan favorite for brunch, Castillo's has been around since 1955, and legions of loyal patrons have been coming here for years. They are famous for their good variety of delicious and authentic Mexican dishes, reasonable prices, and prompt service. It has garnered numerous local awards and great reviews. Some of their guests have been coming back for decades.The long lines, particularly during lunch hours and the weekend, are a testament to the good food and service. While the lines get long, the general wait time is usually under 25 minutes.The three most recommended dishes are steak fajitas, chile verde, and menudo, available on the weekends. Complimentary chips and salsa come with every order.I have tried the shrimp fajitas, menudo (small bowl), chicken burrito, and the taco and enchilada plate (#2 - combination). The two best dishes were the menudo and chicken burrito. The tripe used in the menudo was very tender and tasted clean. The red chili pepper broth was rich and soothing. Diced onions, cilantro, oregano, and lime wedges are served with the soup to season it, in addition to some flour tortillas. The shredded chicken I ordered as a burrito and enchilada was delicious and perfectly cooked: tender, plump, and juicy. I liked the authenticity of the shrimp fajitas dish and the robust flavors. The shrimp was well seasoned, plump, and juicy. The crispy, sweet taste of the sizzling hot bell peppers and onions - served on a hot cast-iron skillet with either piping hot flour or corn tortillas, and beans and rice on the side - combine to make this visually and aural appealing and aromatic dish dimensions of flavors, colors, and textures despite the simplicity of the main ingredients.The hard-shelled tacos and enchiladas are a no-brainer for first-time guests or those deciding what to order. Whether you choose ground beef, shredded beef, or shredded chicken as a taco filling, it is guaranteed to be well-seasoned, juicy, and go great with a crunchy corn tortilla shell. The enchilada was spot-on: packed with meat inside, and covered with melted cheese and zesty, tomatoey, mole sauce. The soft corn enchilada shell was not soggy nor fell apart right away. This is definitely a well established brunch restaurant. Full brunch menu from Crab eggs Benedict, Crab salad, delicious burger and this shrimp salad. This is a must try restaurant once your try if definitely be going back. Sherry is awesome friendly bartender, Autumn the server keeps the place running smoothly and always has a smile.

Apple Annie's is a long time restaurant in my hometown. Apple Annies is favorite of locals and convenient for travelers staying at local hotels. We came for breakfast at the request of a family member and I wasn't sure what to expect since I probably hadn't been there for probably 40 years. All I know is that the parking lot is always full every day of the week. The restaurant is clean and in great condition for its age. I decided on the New York Steak and Eggs for my breakfast. Our server was very helpful and patient with our elderly mother. The five meals were served quickly, hot and lacking any sort of flavor. The steaks were tough and the coffee was weak. I probably should have stayed with a breakfast entree. Overall, I enjoyed myself with the fam and the exceptional service. Three Stars for lack of flavor.

This is my First time coming to this joint. The ambiance is very good everything is very clean it has very nice decor. The staff is very polite and professional our waitress Miriam was really nice and polite and met our every need and was quick and efficient the service is excellent. The food is very good I got the country boy ham steak and eggs with loaded hash browns very delicious and fresh they have a wide variety of food items to choose from Breakfast Lunch and dinner on Sundays they have a brunch all the items on the menu are at a reasonable price come and check them out you will not be disappointed I will definitely be coming back!!!

When I was searching through Yelp for Hawaiian food, this place popped up and I decided to give it a try. Usually I go to Ono's but I wanted to try something new. There was a lot of parking and when you walk in, there's a good amount of tables and it was clean. They had a bunch of Hawaii related things on the wall. Everything looked so good on the menu but I ordered the Garlic Furikake Chicken with Mac :) I only waited a few minutes and the food was ready. I took it home and wow I love the coating on the chicken. It's very flavorful and they put it on top of some greens. They give just the right amount of rice and the Mac was alright. It's a good portion for the price. I think the next thing I want to try is their Mochiko chicken with kimchee. I can't wait :)

"This place is very trendy. We got there mid morning. I think we missed the crowds. We got there just in time. They sat us down very quick. It was just my two daughters and I. Gaby our waitress was so nice, kind and very helpful. She wrote everything down to the dot as how I wanted my chilaquiles. My daughter got the hot chocolate and it was very cute with whip cream on top and some sprinkles. I got coffee and then we ordered the breakfast. It was pancakes breakfast, the western omelet with potatoes and the special chilaquiles. Everything came out very good and they didn't take that long to serve it. We would definitely come back because it's a cute cozy place to have breakfast. They also offered some things like honey, cookies, nuts, home made granola. And many more things. I really liked it there."

"Maggie loves cafes so I found Red Caboose Cafe to try after a day exploring Kings Canyon National Park. It was hot outside but inside the AC was working well. I was really impressed by the decor. Hanging from the ceiling were train tracks. Nice waitress asked if we wanted to watch the trains run? We did. When I was a kid one year I got a train set and I ran the train around our Christmas tree. We enjoyed watching the trains while waiting for our food.Dinner roll was fluffy and I liked the mild flavor.Beef barley soup featured tender flavorful beef. I rarely eat beef barley soup but this one was delicious and I would order it again.Onion rings had a crunchy batter and had lots of onion flavor. Standard fast food type onion ring.Honey fried chicken featured crunchy batter with honey drizzled on top. Chicken was tender and juicy. Loved the salty and sweet flavors. One of my favorite fried chicken dishes.Service was great from the friendly and efficient staff. I'm looking forward to more delicious fried chicken and beef barley soup on our next trip to Kings Canyon. Hope the trains will be running again.
