"6/22/24Getting breakfast for tomorrow!! I called and ordered the Supreme Veggie omelette egg white with pancakes, SF syrup, country potatoes and salsa. Egg white is an extra charge. The worker was kind and said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Arrived, checked in. Greeted by kind worker and order was ready and brought out. I paid for it with good day wishes and another worker greeted, adding salsa in the bag. Appreciated!! Very nice restaurant. A relaxing, calm atmosphere. Lots of seating with a country home feeling. 6/23/24 Happy Sunday everyone!!Got breakfast ready and split. Egg white Veggie supreme omelette half was REALLY GREAT!! ! Fresh veggies, delicious egg white and even better with their fresh salsa!! Country potatoes half were Great too!! Seasoned well & tasty! Great plump pancake with SF syrup making it even better too!!I'm sure mother will feel the same when she gets up to have hers!!Great service & Great, Delicious breakfast 1/2!! Highly recommended!!"

"Denny's is just a favorite of mine. Love their Moons Over My Hammy Sandwich. I love their Eggs Benedict. I just had their Prime Rib Steak Salad which was delicious. I love their Country Fried Steak. I love their Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I mean, not all their food is great, such as their burgers. Their burgers are dry and lack flavor. Their shakes are too sweet. Their steaks are usually dry too. But overall I still love this place."

"Im a first time customer and came in shortly after opening on a Thursday. The place gives a comfortable home type feel. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with a side of mash potatoes. The sandwich was good quality although it was lacking a flavor or some sort, I couldn't put my finger on it. (Maybe more aioli? Seasoning on the chicken? A good addition would be bacon, I don't know if they have it though!) The mash and gravy were great. I also ordered a hot caramel macchiato which was great! I originally went in for the old school red steer french dip which I haven't had in years but changed my mind last minute! The cashier was friendly and the woman that brought my food out had a pleasant smile and looked happy to be at work. I'll definitely try this place again!"

"We were hungry after antique shopping. Most sandwiches are made with the fresh in house baked bread. Sourdough was amazing! My pastrami was so so good. We then proceeded to purchase every (well almost) baked treat they offer. Be sure to tell them what kind of cookie you prefer when you order or you get what they give you....not that it matters. It was all delicious. Thank you for a lovely lunch with my daughter and aunt."

"This place ain't fancy. The ladies at the front desk are nice, if a bit brusque. We stayed in a sort of double cabin rather than the motel-style rooms they also offer, but when we first arrived there was not one other guest or car present, and I was feeling some serious Psycho vibes. The room definitely smelled like smoke (though smoking is prohibited). It dissipated over the next few days, or perhaps we just grew used to it.Breakfast is included in your stay, and available from 7:30-9:30am. Offerings consist of cereal, bagels, bread (with a toaster), waffles, mini muffins, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, apples and oranges. There is coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or orange juice to drink. Condiments include jelly and peanut butter, only margarine and no butter (what is this, the 90s?). Dinner was not available during our stay in early May, but I believe once the summer season gets going the "restaurant" is open all day. Just be aware that this means an outside-of-busy-season visit requires you bring your own food (we had a mini fridge our room) or be prepared to drive a good 20-30 minutes into Oakhurst for meals (which is the worst after driving an hour just to exit Yosemite).Still, I would choose lodging like this over some chain. Instead of calling it dated with a slant toward "horror movie setting," let's say it has character. If your destination is Yosemite (and if it's not what are you even doing here?), It's about the closest place to stay, exempting a few bed and breakfasts. The scenery surrounding the lodge is beautiful, featuring a path along a stream covered in redwoods, equisetum, and wildflowers."

All of the sauces with the parilladas were flavorful and great on everything. We came with our baby and they were great at accommodating us. Our waitress anticipated that we would want extra beans and a small spoon for our baby which I really appreciated. Great place for families or even a casual date night. The interior was really nice. Cool wood accents and a very unique chandelier."

When we asked our server Hannah S where our food was, she said there was an evening rush of people. It was a busy evening, though from the moment sat down to the moment we left, there was not very many people there.My friend would constantly try to make contact with any of the staff so we could get help, and no one came. Our server Hannah S. made this excuse that her chicken was needing to be defrosted and it took 15 mins to defrost and it is almost an hour before we got our food. And that is why it is taking long. She said that my salad was done and all she was waiting for was my friend's pasta and chicken. First off, as a customer I would not want to know my chicken is frozen and being defrosted.Shortly after, we spoke to our server again about the delay, our food magically appeared. My friend's pasta was not really warm. It tasted like it had been sitting there for a bit.My salad obviously looked like it was just made. We didn't get our silverware till right before our food came. This makes it seem like our order was not placed or they were discriminating toward us especially since we were the only Asians there.At this point of us waiting for so long for our food, it should have been at least comped for the inconvenience.As guests of visiting the city of Visalia, we are disappointed at the quality of food and customer service. This is not a good representation of the restaurants here.Not sure why there is this many positive yelp reviews. And don't get me wrong I seldom post bad reviews, but this was one I had to share."
