"My lovely neighbor held his wedding reception here and it was very nicely decorated. Each table had a nice center and the chairs went with the theme of the reception. There were two lovely young ladies who went around offering Mango Lassi to guest when they were sitting down. They came around multiple times to see if you wanted more. They were such nice people! It was my friend time coming here and I do not eat a lot of Indian food. The staff educated me on the names of each item and also what it is. My favorite was the Tiki, it was so very good. It had this fried mash like people and it is topped off with various toppings such as sour cream, onions, ginger, their sauce, cilantro, etc. There were quite a few of them for this dish. It was so good I had to go back twice for it. Anything potato, I love! So apparently all the food items that were out along the wall were appetizers. I thought it was the main meal, but my husband and I did not know that. We ate so much, come time for the main course we had no more room. There was so much food to eat. I love their creamy chicken, it was so tender and saucy. Really delicious! They also had hot Chai Tea served there and I had two cups of it. Overall, I think the food was great! Really enjoyed experiencing Indian food in this capacity. I think this venue is a great place (hall) to hold special events either for receptions, birthdays, events, etc. It has the room for it and it's quite nice. The staff were really hard working and made sure all guest was accommodated. They have restroom stalls and it is cleaned. The other side of this event hall is the actual restaurant. I would definitely come back next time if I am in the mood for some Indian food."

"I was out and about and stumbled on this place with friends that are locals. We walked in and the host seated us. We sat down and had chips and salsa to start. Of all my chips and salsa experience I'd put this salsa on the top three of my list in life! This salsa was so fresh and tasty. Not too fine and not too chunky. Just right! We had the queso fondue and my mind was blown away. Not from the queso. The cut tortillas around the bowl brought me back to my childhood. I want to say the world Sonoran style tortillas but I don't know if that's correct. These tortillas are epic and accurate! The flavor and flour to oil ratio with the little cooked notes brought the queso to life. I wanted a dozen tortillas to go! I had a burrito and it was good. Not dry or flavorless. It was a safe burrito to eat but I wasn't that impressed. Beans and rice are simple and typical of a Mexican restaurant. The service was ok. The bussers were more interactive than the server. Shout out to this guys running around taking care of the tables and refilling drinks! It wasn't too loud in there. There seems to be enough room for more tables in there unless the fire code restricts it. The bathroom was clean and presentable and that made a nice impression.Overall, I'd come back here if I'm in the area of downtown Clovis. I'd get the burrito again and the queso fondue. The chips and salsa...ALWAYS! Try the tortillas though. I'd like to know your opinion."

We were a party of 12, it was a Saturday night so it was busy. Our waiter hustled. Not sure if they were short on bartenders, but the drink service was bad! Took forever, even in the not crowded bar we visited after dinner for a night cap! I think I'd be willing to try it again. The side salad I got with my chicken sandwich was pretty basic. Literally chopped iceberg lettuce. Hubby said his steak and baked potato are better at home and half the price!"

"Was recommended to try this spot recently and I was excited to try it! I love Mexican food. We came with a big group but the servers managed that well, tending to our table and keeping chips/salsa filled, as well as our drinks. They have a great drink menu. I opted for a spicy jalapeño margarita, which was really good! For my entree I chose the fajita tostada with grilled chicken. It was a huge portion and tasted good! Others in my party were not thrilled on their food. I heard the enchiladas were lacking flavor. My sister was appreciative of them having ranch for the children in our party who were ordering chicken and French fries. I have definitely had better Mexican, but this spot was a fun time for us. They have a large menu with the standard Mexican fare. Parking was super easy with a big parking lot right out front. We went on a Saturday and didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table in about 15 mins. They had heaters on inside, which I could've done without. It was really warm in the restaurant."

We have not eaten dinner here recently enough to review the restaurant -- just happy hour in the bar.For many years, my husband and I enjoyed going to happy hour at Tahoe Joe's. When the kids were small we'd leave them with Grandma and Grandpa and head to Tahoe Joe's bar on West Shaw (before that location closed). It was almost like our Cheers -- my husband had been some of the servers' teacher and it was just a very friendly relaxed vibe.Our go-to was always beer and the nachos. Perfect relaxing snack at the bar. The West Shaw location has been closed for many years and a couple times when we tried the bar at the N Cedar location, it was too frenetic and crazy-busy.But ...I had a hankering for those nachos. So we went tonight to the N Cedar location after work to check out Friday happy hour before a holiday weekend. Dangerous, right?No -- there was plenty of space at the bar. Some of the high top tables were occupied but at the bar itself, it was one businessman at the other end of the bar and ourselves.Service was friendly and quick. My husband got his old standby Lagunitas, but I broke with my beer tradition and instead ordered a "Joes Moscow Mule" from the happy hour menu. I didn't ask what made it "Joe's" in particular but it was cold, refreshing, and a good price. The menu says "Smooth Russian Standard Vodka muddled with fresh mint and lime then hand-shaken with ginger beer." It's true I saw the bartender muddling. It was a good drink -- not especially strong but I felt it a bit. During happy hour I think it was $7 instead of $9.75. Don't quote me. It was a little cheaper for sure.Husband was happy with his draft Lagunitas.And the nachos -- they were just as we remembered -- once we got them. We had forgotten they didn't have any meat (which was fine, but we might have requested to add some protein). And we'd forgotten that we usually asked for some salsa on the side to add to them. I think in the old days we also used to see guacamole on the nachos: but maybe it was something we requested to add.The nachos were good and brought back our happy hour memories -- warm crispy chips with refried beans, melted cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, and a little chopped tomato and cilantro. Quite tasty.We'll definitely come back here soon. If it was closer to our home, I could see making this a regular "thing" again. It's just very chill and relaxed -- and it's a nice treat without stuffing your face or getting too expensive."

Large order. Split. You definitely get your moneys worth! My half was absolutely delicious! Flavorful! It comes with corn tortillas. Authentic and delicious! Tasty beans, rice and fresh salad come with it as well! Great hot sauce too! Mother said her half was the bomb! Great and fresh! Lots of leftovers! Another meal for both! "This restaurant is located in what looks like an older home. And that might be abuela's because the dishes here are what I imagine she would cook if she was still here. The chips and salsa were really cool and they also brought out a cabbage and jalapeño salsa that was amazing and unique. The bean dip was fire too and got the appetite going.I browsed the menu and seen the Chicken Molé Poblano. I love trying molé and when I seen El Jardin's had won an award I couldnt pass it up. I was here with a large party after a water polo tournament for my son. So service was a bit slow but the server did her best refilling drinks and chips. When the food did come out it was hot and looked delicious. The molé was phenomenal! I can see why it won an award as it was the best molé I've ever had to this point in my young life. This spot is a must try if in the area. All the dishes that came out looked really good. Super authentic place with workers doing a great job at keeping it one of the best in Cali."

"First time coming in to eat! This place was very clean, seemed as though it was a new spot, turns out they have been open for about 3yrs. The food was delicious it was light and fresh tasting not heavy at all. Service was great she was so nice and attentive. The only complaint I had was the coffee I had was not good at all. I drank half just to get some caffeine in me, but could not finish it no matter how many creams I would put into the coffee. Will definitely be back and bring the hubs and parents. The food is locally sourced it says that in the menu which is very cool to know."

They were delicious and plentiful to share. Also ordered a build your own burger - juicy patty .... Got all the toppings on it that don't cost extra. Freshly made to order; so be prepared for a little wait. It doesn't sit under a light like McDonald's; so patience is a must. Combo comes with crinkle cut fries and a soft drink. No carbonation at the soft drink machine .... Please fix this ... no one wants to drink flat soda. There should be a sign at the counter ; letting you know ahead of time ... so you can decide if you really want that flat beverage to sip on. The bar is busy ; the drinks made by the bartenders are good and reasonable . Ordered a sex on the beach drink, was very good .there is outdoor space to hangout at when weather permits. Place can get super packed in the evenings and on weekends. Go earlier before the crowd. Good place for big parties ; kid friendly. Clean bathrooms. High chairs for kids."

This place has been becoming a weekly thing for me and I'm not mad about it."

"I stopped by to pick up dinner tonight. My grandma wanted pozole and I wanted chicken soup. I also ordered a chicken taquito. Chicken soup came with flour or corn tortillas. We were also given chips and salsa. Such a cute restaurant. The guy who owns it is very polite and keeps his business clean. My grandmother didn't like her pozole. For her the chunks of pork was too big and she found some fatty pieces. So I ended up making her something else. I tried a bite of the pozole and I thought flavor was good and the pork was very tender. But I did see a few fatty pieces. My chicken soup was horrible. I wish I ordered the chicken tortilla soup that I had last time because that was so good. The regular caldo de pollo had a few pieces of lime inside and right away I bit a big piece of lime. Soup was flavorless. Tasted like lime water with chicken in it . I did not eat it. Chicken taquito was good. I'm glad I ordered it so I didn't go hungry. Next time I'll order something else for sure ."

"My partner and I chose this restaurant on our way down from Sequoia National Park, to celebrate our brand new engagement. We loved the Yelp photos of the food and the cool outdoor dining patio. When we arrived, it was pretty busy and with no host check in area, kind of difficult to tell where to get a table. After about 5 minutes, someone came to us to help us get seated. We opted for outside, it was cold that night but they have heaters around the tables. Also, worth noting the indoor seating area is small and dining outdoor gives you more elbow room (we had a stroller).The waiter came to take our drink order and although the staff was busy, he had a great attitude and was very kind. We were starving and luckily the wait for the food wasn't long at all. The plates came out looking delicious and everything tasted so good.When paying our check, we did notice once we got to the car that we paid the wrong tables bill. The difference was like $10 or so. My fiancé went back in to get it corrected and they were quick to void and recharge the right bill.Note: The restrooms were pretty messy and could use some TLC. I had to struggle with the doorknob for a few minutes as the door was stuck closed in the women's restroom side when I was trying to exit.Overall, cool spot with great food!"

Let me give the disclaimer that I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food and I like authentic Mexican food nothing else. This the resin they get three stars. The salsa left a lot yo be desired. We both ordered mojado burritos. The guacamole did not taste like freshly made but more like from a tub in refrigerator section of a grocery store. Salsa was similar. Portions are huge! So they got a extra star for that! Waitress forgot my water refill and brought me my water refill when I asked for a Togo box for the rest of my food. It's decent for sure but nothing more than that."

They have a full bar with wine, spirits, and beer on tap. Happy Hour is 3-6 M-F and all day on the weekends! The lighting in this store is nice and bright!When my friend and I got here, the wait for a table was 45min. We got a seat at the bar and sat down right away because spots were available. Our server/bartender was Sylvia, who was helpful and attentive.We both ordered margaritas. Mine was the Presidente and my friend ordered the Straw-Eddy'Rita. So delicious!We ordered the Ultimate Cajun Pasta and split that between us. It was a pretty hearty portion so we were happy to split it, plus it was delicious! The menu is pretty typical of a Chili's but the staff were very helpful and kind! I'm looking forward to coming back!"

Aman the owner was super nice and checked in on us a couple of times.Fish Pakora was an incredible appetizer and the fish is Basa Basa, a favorite of mine. Chicken spring rolls were also very good. The four dipping sauces were a perfect compliment.Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan were also very tasty. They are new and finding their way so PLEASE have patience, but they are super nice. Support the small business owner while having fresh, excellent Indian food."
