"I was visiting from work and asked where can I find the best wings in Fresno for Wings Wednesday and was directed here and was NOT disappointed. I made a special request for Buffalo Lemon-Pepper and they did it no problem. Found out it was a hole-in-the-wall food joint, knew the wings were gonna be FUEGO! Got my food and saw the wings came in a plastic container, I was sold on how quality the wings were gonna be. Ate my first wing with no ranch, FELL IN LOVE!!!! Ate next 11, I got a 12 piece, with ranch, nail in the coffin. Well, the ranch was coo, my favorite is from w*%#^%*, but we won't mention them lol Not gonna lie, by far the best wings in Fresno and now whenever I come up here, this place is on the must visit list!!! 10 outta 10"

"Hidden spot on Shaw and West area. It had been on my book marks for a long time. I love beef bulgogi and was craving it so I opted for that with the veggie fried rice. The combo comes with salad which is just iceberg lettuce but the dressing is pretty good. Rice is ok. Pot stickers are good I tend to get that as an appetizer when I come. Beef bulgogi is a nice sized portion and good. I've had better beef bulgogi though. They get super busy but they're efficient and quick. No fountain drinks here just can sodas. Overall it's just good not amazing but it hits the spot if you're craving Korean style food."

"Decided to try this place on a whine.We wanted to try as much as we could, they are on the cheaper side, no frills. Service was quick, got our food in less than 5 minutes. We got 2, 3 meats 2 sides with all the sauces. Hot links were good, I've never had it so I wasn't expecting it to be thinly sliced like it was. Chicken and tritip were also thinly sliced and were pretty good. Brisket was shredded which I was sort of off put by, but it was ok. Brisket is normally my favorite. Pulled pork was good and probably my favorite meat in the order. All the meat had that good Smokey bbq flavor, Some of the meats were on the drier side so you definitely need the bbq sauce, we liked the sweeter one. Potatoe salad was greatColeslaw was good I wouldn't get the beans again but they weren't bad. Just not the typical sweet bbq beans and also not the chili style. Definitely worth a try the price is great and you get a decent amount of food"

"Really liked this place a lot I've had it 3 times and each time the food has been incredible. Totally innocent with there mac. I have had other Hawaiian macs and this is by far the best. The chicken is super tasty and when dipped into the sauce it's perfect flavor combo. The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars for me is the prices it's a little spendy but still totally worth it. Highly recommend this place."

The woman taking our order was very sweet, offered us a sample of the bbq baked beans when we were trying to narrow down our side selection. We're definitely coming back to try other menu items - really looking forward to trying the fried fish."

"I should have read the other reviews in that the food takes a while, but it was worth the wait! I had the fish fillet with chicken thigh. The fish fillets were TO DIE FOR. Flaky, crunchy, cooked to perfection with a savory blend of seasoning that was just right. I had the fried chicken after and compared to the fish, it could have used a bit more seasoning. But it was also cooked for perfection. The collard greens was tasty. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance was ok - clean with plenty of open seating. I'll be back for more next time I'm in Fresno. Nice to find a decent soul food spot that speaks to my soul. Next time, I will have to call ahead or order online."

"We decided to have the lunch sandwiches for our department holiday lunch and they were very accommodating; very easy to walk up and place the order (unless you are using their catering you have to order at the window, you can't call in the order), the young man at the front was very helpful and patient with our order of 11 sandwiches plus sides. And everything came out very quick!! Food was great; very full sandwiches which everyone was pleased with. I plan on taking my husband here because I think he will enjoy this place."

"We have come here for years to the actual Market (store) portion inside the building for our family. Fresh meats, veggies, delish sides, breads, crackers, cheeses...and they have a nice variety of specialty items too! Perfect for making platters/charcuterie boards for parties, or just meals for the family. We love grabbing sandwiches at the grill outside, and with this visit, our also family stopped by for some quick and tasty goodies! Kids loved the corn dogs, fries, and pilaf. I enjoy so many items such as their pasta salad and their grilled veggies you can add to sandwiches. There is seating outside or you can take things to go. Honestly, this visit was cheaper than a traditional fast food stop, and it made the kids super happy. Quality makes a difference. Fries were fire!!!Everyone is always super friendly and helpful for both the inside market area, as well as the outside grill area too! We went inside and the kids got to reach in and pick out their favorite character ice creams to purchase, & enjoy with their lunch!Tip: If you want amazing chicken kebab, already skewered up to grill at home, this place is a must! They use the best marinade, and have for years. They sell a variety of meats to cook at home, and you can also buy a tri-tip already cooked too!Soooo many reasons to go back again soon, and we will!"

"Not sure what to eat on this Friday work day in Porterville I happened across this restaurant tucked among other fast food options so I decided to give it a go. So I'm giving this place a rare 5 star rating for a few reasons. One...the price vs amount of food, 2 speed with which the food came out and 3 the quality of the food. I ordered the number 2 Chicken Katsu plate with a side of rice and macaroni salad. The chicken was crispy and tender and both the rice and macaroni were on point. The price for the plate was just under $12 which may not seem cheap but if you consider that you get enough chicken and sides to legitimately feed 2 adults then this becomes a bargain. Also they were pretty speedy in getting this out to me and to be honest I've had less than stellar experiences with other Hawaiian BBQ joints in that respect. If you're on lunch and in a hurry but want something of quality then I recommend this restaurant highly."

"I find myself in a strange position right now. I'm reviewing the bun of my sandwich. Why the bun? Well, I've already reviewed the tri-tip on the bun in the last review, but it was the bun that made a lasting impression. So much so, that they felt the need to address it, as well as my other concern, the bratwurst. It was the brat that I came for, but alas, I'll have to try again. *sigh* I can't complain too much though. It was free after all. Had a good talk with Steve. He just shook his head when I showed him what the last sandwich looked like. His demeanor was one of disbelief. "Was it burnt? I wouldn't send out a product looking like that." "SO HAPPY!!!When I found out that Famous Dave's was offering dine-in I was ecstatic. I'd been to this location once before and while the food was delicious, it was a bit of a pain to take it all the way back home to Stockton. We went on a Saturday so I was expecting a bit of a wait and there was one, but only about 20 minutes. It still shares a building with Johnny Carino's which is odd but it seems like Famous Dave's has taken over the majority of it. And it was jumpin'! We ordered a rib combo and a 2 meat combo and everything was just as I remembered-the ribs fell off the bone, the brisket was super tender, the beans were sweet with chunks of brisket, the mac and cheese had a little kick to it from the jalapenos and the corn muffin was sweet which is how I like them. It was DELICIOUS. The only hiccup was that the mac and cheese was lukewarm but I let our server know and he brought out a fresh one immediately. We also ordered some dessert to go, banana pudding and bread pudding. I had the bread pudding and it came with a caramel pecan sauce and vanilla ice cream and it was to die for! We had a great first time dine-in experience thanks to our awesome server, Joshua and I know we will definitely return. If you like BBQ this is a MUST try. P.S. Please remodel the bathrooms..."

"I was walking around River Park while the farmers market was going on and the smell of this BBQ place overpowered all the other food trucks. The smell was so delicious I started levitating like when a cartoon character smells pie. Like a moth to a flame. Upon arrival, this place practically had no line! I was immediately greeted like family by the owner who had no issue answering any questions I had.I'm a big fan of brisket so you know I had to order the sandwich and it was soooooo good. Little bit pricy for the size, but standard for most BBQ places around here. The meat was tender and juicy, it practically melt in my mouth. They give you a choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce and I for sure recommend the spicy. Its not too crazy, but enough to elevate the sandwich with a tangy kick. Def recommend this place if its in the area. You might have to follow the instagram since their food truck schedule may vary."

"I came to BBQ Bob on 08/10/22 as I needed to take care of an incident that occurred. Upon arrival I noticed how CLEAN and beautiful the grounds were! I thought to myself how come I've NEVER seen this cute place! Upon arrival there were two customers ahead of me and we chatted a bit. I asked to speak to the manager which I believe her name was Pamela. The most sweetest lady ever. Staff informed me she will be right out and guess what BOB came out and greeted me as well. The hospitality is was AMAZING and they took my concerns seriously. They took the time and I let them know I was happy to be here and glad the situation happened or I would never known about this place. Bob informed me they have been open since November 2020. I'm disappointed that Bobs is not on the map especially being a Black Owned Business! You can tell the pride in the place is THERE. Very pleasant experience and beautiful. I was lucky enough to try the BBQ and it is reasonably priced! The GOOD part was that the BBQ was AMAZING when I say AMAZING it was DELICIOUS. My mouth is already watering for those ribs I had. Probably one of the best RIBS I had and meat as well. My family was able to sample a little of it and it was GONE in seconds. We are planning on returning soon as the flavors was delicious and the BBQ was on point - that Smokey flavor !!!! I liked the sweet potato pie which was delicious and they also have peach cobbler !!!I'm putting them on the map because they deserve it! The food speaks for itself! I will be back soon as the dude wants to try it he was upset I didn't share xD. They are having new hours starting soon! Which is perfect for my work schedule and family day's schedule too! We live near Hogg Pitt and wanted to support a local business.As we walked in, we were greeted by a female staff member, who was polite and answered all the questions we had. We chose the 3 Meat, 2 Side combo along with their Loaded Fries. The 3 meats were x2 Ribs and x1 tri tip. The sides were Potato Salad and Baked Beans. We LOVED the loaded fries which consisted if French Fries, Mac n Cheese, Sweet Baked beans, and chopped Tri Tip.Overall, the food tasted good. No complaints, meats were moist and flavorful. For those people complaining about price, if you haven't noticed minimum wage went up so these prices are adjusted for that(you can thank Governor Newscum for that). It's nice to have a new place added to our weekly rotation for dinner options. If you live nearby or want a new place to try out stop by. Inside the Chevron at Clinton/Blythe. You won't regret it."

"Since the reviews are great I had to try it. And I have to say, the reviews are 5 stars. Really accurate. Parking is hell, service is excellent, and the fries are delicious.It's true, with the mixed reviews say. The tri-tip is dry, but they gave me extra sauce to make up for it. The sauce is crazy thick and sweet. I was happy with the buttery roll. I could do better with the tritip, but I couldn't beat the roll.The fries were deliciously over salted with a season salt that reminds me of something specific that I can't put my finger on. I'm glad there was plenty to bring home for later.Its ambiance is dark and industrial, the black and red tones seem a little overly apocalyptic. The sound level is amplified by all the glass and concrete making it impossible to hold a conversation with out shouting at each other. Which is okay since shoving fries in my face was my highest priority."
