"A Fresno staple and classic. I am not in any way a "regular" here...I don't meet friends here, have a favorite breakfast order, or know any of the employees by first name. I don't even get the chance to stop by monthly. BUT this is definitely the type of place that has regulars, and also is worth stopping by when you want a delicious breakfast quiche, some freshly baked bread, a decadent cake for a special occasion that looks as amazing as it tastes, or any variety of pastries, mostly of the sweet persuasion, but with a few savory options thrown in. I've tried many other bakeries in town (both newer and older than this place), and for quality, price, and deliciousness, I keep finding myself coming back to this location. And, the only thing on my birthday wish list each year is a cake from La Boulangerie. Some of my family's favorites include the chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, any of the croissants and the mini fruit tarts. I also love trying their different breads and dinner rolls. The cholla bread is fluffy, chewy, with just the right amount of sweet. And the breakfast quiches are full of goodness, and just the right amount of seasoning.While you will be very lucky to come here when there isn't already a long line, their ticket system of calling folks to the counter runs efficiently, and they are very good at getting you helped and out the door faster than you may expect. I am very grateful that the service has continued to be high quality, even after a change in ownership a while back. Please, La Boulangerie, keep up the good work. I am hopeful to stop by for many more birthdays, special occasions, and "just because" moments in the future."

"Im a first time customer and came in shortly after opening on a Thursday. The place gives a comfortable home type feel. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich with a side of mash potatoes. The sandwich was good quality although it was lacking a flavor or some sort, I couldn't put my finger on it. (Maybe more aioli? Seasoning on the chicken? A good addition would be bacon, I don't know if they have it though!) The mash and gravy were great. I also ordered a hot caramel macchiato which was great! I originally went in for the old school red steer french dip which I haven't had in years but changed my mind last minute! The cashier was friendly and the woman that brought my food out had a pleasant smile and looked happy to be at work. I'll definitely try this place again!"

"How did I just find this local bakery in my neighborhood!? I used trusty Yelp when I had a craving for cheesecake and was shocked to know I missed this family run business right around the corner. I checked it out it's located in the Cedar/Herndon shopping center.When we entered it smelled AMAZING! I love that they have mini sizes of the cupcakes and cheesecake makes it easy to sample or just get that fix without over indulging!They also carried homemade cookies which were to-die-for! Not too sweet or doughy with lots of chips! I've been back just for the cookies since I'm so particular and dislike those chain brands that seem to be so popular.The service was fine nothing bad or outstanding either. Of note they also carry thrifty ice cream! There's a few tables if you want to enjoy your goods immediately but they package it up in such cute packaging it feels like you're opening a gift! We're hooked!"

Stopped by with the family to satisfy my sweet tooth and was met by a very friendly young woman who made our daughter feel excited and welcome. We chose a variety of our favorite flavors for cupcakes, and I grabbed a slice of carrot cake. Everything was great - moist with deep flavors. This was just my second time in, but it reminded me to come back more often. Definitely stop in if you're a cupcake lover or just a fan of delicious baked goods!"

We arrived in the late afternoon on a Sunday, not too much going on, a few people at tables, but they took our order right away, and we had no issue finding a place to sit. The food was delicious. We each ordered the Choose 2. I ordered the chicken rosa pasta and the chicken pomodori panini, with a side caesar salad. The caesar salad was average, reminded me of bagged caesar salad, except for the croutons, those were house made and yummy. Both the panini and the pasta had very similar flavors for sure, kind of a tomato, basil, pesto, spinach thing going on. Which was fine for me, but if you're looking for variety don't order these two together! My friend got a cup of tomato soup, and the choose 2 with the chicken pesto sandwich and the pesto cavatappi. She said both were delicious too. She had the dragon fruit tea and did not care for it though. I've had breakfast BBLT & Egg sandwich before and it is so good (worth adding avocado too.) Both in house and on Door dash. Very much a "panera" type place and for being something I could get good food to go, for the same price as a fast food restaurant, It's pretty good to me. Oh! my other complaint, besides service, was the to go containers felt so flimsy."

You can take them to the counter to be warmed up! They have a pretty large breakfast and lunch menu. Can't wait to try more. "Didn't know there was a Crumbl in Los Banos until my folks got a free cookie voucher in the mail. Since my folks are not fans of cookies, I took it upon myself to use the voucher. I came in and oh my the smell! I love the smell of cookies baking! At first I was going to do a self-order but the cashier saw me and said she can take my order. I was confused as to what I can order. They had a display of cookies, with 2 different sizes. I thought we could order the small sizes but was told those were for catering orders only. Makes sense. I got the 4 cookie set. I ordered the chocolate with raspberry frosting, milk chocolate chip, Neapolitan and vanilla glaze with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The voucher was for a free milk chocolate chip. Apparently that wasn't included in the 4 cookie set as that offer is separate. After I paid, the cashier said to wait in the pick up area for my order. I didn't have to wait long. About 5 minutes. The lady that brought my order showed me the cookies to make sure they were correct. I tried the milk chocolate first. Moist on the inside and crispy on the base and outer layer. The chips were not gooey which is what I like. This was not too sweet especially since it's milk chocolate and not dark. The chocolate with raspberry frosting reminded me of a brownie. It has that fudge texture. The raspberry flavor of the frosting is noticeable, but not super potent. This was also not sweet despite the frosting. They coat the cookie with a thin layer which I think is the reason why it wasn't too sweet. The Neapolitan was a chunky piece. 2 layers of cookies with frosting on top. Chocolate cookie on the bottom and sugar cookie on top. Cookies were moist. Base and outer layer were not as crispy as the milk chocolate chip. This was surprisingly not intensely sweet even though there were 2 cookies and a layer of frosting. The last cookie I tried was the vanilla glazed with Cinnamon Toast Crunch topping. I was eager to try this the most as the topping is one of my favorite cereals. Unfortunately this was the sweetest of the bunch. I think the topping made it sweeter. The sweetness of the cereal can be died down with milk but on a cookie, not so much. Maybe if you drank milk to go along with the cookie, it might make a difference. Overall my favorite was the milk chocolate chip and least favorite was the vanilla glazed."

"This place is a little grocery store combined with a little restaurant and bakery inside. Parking space is plenty as it's in a little complex. It looked like they had a lot of desserts to offer. But I was there for my main favorite which is butter chicken. I ordered it for takeout and waited 15 to 20 minutes. The lady who helped me was friendly. The butter chicken wasn't the best, but it was doable. If you're a big fan of butter chicken like me then I would recommend going elsewhere for it such as Tandoori Grill that is a few blocks down on Peach and Cesar Chavez."
