"I wanted to try this place for a while now and finally we did. I ordered on the phone and when I arrived the food was ready. The food was freshly made and very delicious. I ordered the broccoli with garlic. My Husband ordered beef and broccoli and a side of steam rice, and we also had an order of chicken and corn dumplings. We also ordered some spring rolls. Those are very tasty and crunchy. I have tried this in different places but this are great. My husband said that his food was very good, and that it was very hot, We couldn't eat right away but it's just the way it supposed to be. I loved the broccoli I got, It tasted so good. The broccoli was tender and juicy. My grandson Loved their dumplings. He loves the ones with chicken and corn. There are 12 in an order. They have many thing in the menu but they are known for their famous pork dumplings. Those are most people's favorite. Ambience it's very relaxing. No music in the background and they have a beautiful fountain inside!! You can hear the water coming down. I am definitely coming back. Just writing about makes my mouth watering."

"Off the beaten path, Surla's is often forgotten. The restaurant is trying to change that with its new Prefix 30 menu on Thursdays. Three delicious courses for $30. What a deal! Food is top-notch quality, and the service is on point. I've taken advantage of this special both in the restaurant and to go. Both options were very good. The wine selection is varied and lots of excellent choices are available.Go back to an old favorite, or try something new, this restaurant won't disappoint."

"I came here on a ladies lunch date. We walked in around 1:00 pm on a Friday. Their dining area is a decent size for a smaller scale restaurant. They also had upgraded their restroom so now there's a separate male and female restroom. For food, I ordered the Mee Ka Tee while the other ladies ordered Lao fried rice with sour pickled sausages, papaya salad, Tom yum shrimp soup, and Num Yua Beef salad. Everything was delicious! But the top winning savory dishes are the papaya salad, Num Yua Beef Salad, and Lao fried rice with sour pickles sausages. The service was great, too. The waitress was a middle aged lady and she checked on us after taking our orders. She also kindly refilled our water more than three times as we ended up staying there for a couple of hours even after finishing our food."

The broth itself was okay but had a strong ginger taste, to the point where AFTER I seasoned your broth it still left a strong ginger taste & that's all you tasted.I was really excited being that this was the only pho shop in Madera and bringing in a different variety to the city. But this was a no for me, it would be better to do it yourself at home or drive into Fresno for it."

"08/15/24- My friend and I was looking for a good Chinese food place. We stumbled across Chan's Chinese Food dine in & take out. A small littplace Cedar & Shield in Fresno. This was our 1st time eating here. The service was excellent at the same time he helped the take. order too! The ambiance was friendly. I highly recommend the #6 Combination Meal. The potion of the food was generous. You can feed 2 people just ask for extra plate or 1 hungry person. It Worth my $10.98 meal. I had to take a lot home for leftovers the next days."

"I was craving Thai food and decided to give this place a shot as I'd never been, and had seen great reviews. I'm going to be honest I left this place knowing I wouldn't be back. The service is super friendly so 10/10 for that, but the food was over priced for the quality of food, and not something I'd have again. The spring roll had a piece of chicken in each one measuring the size of my pinky finger. It might as well have been a veggie spring roll. I only ate half of a spring roll I didn't care for the sauce it was served with it. The dish lacked major flavor. The first bite I took of my noodles was not bad, but as I kept eating all I could taste was oil. Will just say I left most of the food behind and ended up feeling a little sick."

"Yall I got the privilege to try this place before it officially opens on Friday and oh my goodness this place is going to be a new Visalia favorite! I got the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and I wish I had a pic to show you but I devoured it the moment it was in my hands. The meat was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, the sauce was sweet and salty, a great addition to the white rice and sautéed veggies. Service was excellent and efficient. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu !!!"
