"I noticed the new Don Chepe location several weeks ago, and decided to see what is up, and stopped in today for lunch. There is quite a large menu with options from Mexican food to burgers and fries. Most of the menu is Mexican Food. The restaurant itself is nondescript with zero personality because the location has housed quite a number of different businesses over the years. I ordered the "Bowl" with Carne Asada, which is a combo platter in a bowl. It looked great and was larger than what I was expecting. Unfortunately, there is not anything more that I can say about it. The bowl comes with the usual suspects; rice, beans, guac, lettuce and your choice of meat. What was lacking in my bowl was flavor. It was a bland as bland could be. My other gripe is that the lettuce is combined with the hot foods, instead of being on the top.No outdoor seating. Masks are not required. Staff is not wearing masks in a high COVID area. A bit pricey for the area. Bland food.I'm sorry to say that Don Chepe is a one and done for me."

"This business is operated by one man who does it all: greeting you, cooking, cleaning, all with a friendly smile and fast service. The food is so good and flavorful, and the amount of food served for the price is definitely fair. I had the asada torta, lightlu toasted, stuffed with meat and comes with crinkle cut fries. My hubby had the shrimp tostada bursting with lime and lemon juice and baby shrimp in flavorful red spices. Fountain and bottles drinks are available. The inside is welcoming with music playing but this place is about good food served with pride!"

"Denny's is just a favorite of mine. Love their Moons Over My Hammy Sandwich. I love their Eggs Benedict. I just had their Prime Rib Steak Salad which was delicious. I love their Country Fried Steak. I love their Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I mean, not all their food is great, such as their burgers. Their burgers are dry and lack flavor. Their shakes are too sweet. Their steaks are usually dry too. But overall I still love this place."

"I've been here a few times since moving to Fresno. Great place to have some food, drinks and watch games. It will get absolutely packed on certain game nights. Fun, high energy environment. Food is good, not life changing, but definitely good enough. Wings are pretty great. Drinks are the same.What really elevates this place is that all of the staff are amazing. Incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful even when the bar is packed and everything is hectic. The food and environment gets it to 4 stars, but the staff make it 5. Thank you guys!"

"Aesthetically speaking the inside of the restaurant captures the essence of the rustic Mexican style restaurants. The food was delicious, I ordered the chimichanga de asada. The chimichanga was stuffed and the audible crunch from the perfectly fried flour tortilla was very noticeable. The guacamole was good although to my taste needed more salt. This is my own personal taste tho. The flavors inside the chimichanga were well balanced and seasoned. All of the flavors were delicious but I must admit that I am still stuck on the flakiness and crunch on the tortilla."

"We were here in a middle of March- off season. We never had any issues finding a place to sit, nor did we have any issues with having to wait a long time to get our food. The lady at the bar takes orders, check you out and makes your drink. For one person, getting it all done, I have no complaints about her. She was super nice and efficient. There was another lady one time that delivered your food out. They have very limited food options, so I had chicken tenders twice, and had chicken salad once. Neither weren't bad, but definitely not the best I've had. Portions of salad were large, and fries that came with chicken tenders were a lot for us to finish. I've got kids meal chicken tenders and from kids to regular chicken tenders, only difference was that you've got more fries with regular. I had no issues here except that their hours were limited to only dinner."

"I went there for lunch with a friend it was so good I had to go again today. The place is a small, cozy pub, quiet ambiance at lunch. The decor is clean and modern. The service was very fast. I ordered the carnivore flat bread, again. It is salty, tasty, savory, fatty, definitely the best flat bread I had the last couple of years. My fiend ordered the buria taco and he really liked it also. Need to go back and try their brew one day."

Can't believe I managed to get a last-minute reservation - I think people were still thinking they might see the Firefalls - but it was overcast and rainy and we had recently checked in to the lodge and wouldn't have made it by sunset to the viewing area anyway - Everything about dining here was great - from being seated to walking out - we had a wonderful waitress - was it Colleen? - and she was attentive from the start - from drink order immediately, to taking our order, to correcting an incorrect plate brought out (woops wrong steak! med rare, not well) all done in a personable manner - the manager came over and apologized for the mix up - which we hadn't even registered yet because my husband only had an edge bite of the steak - it was such a pleasure to eat there.The food? Also great! Ordered Lobster mac n cheese appetizer, salmon plate, steak, poke appetizer for a main, and the chicken. Yes, sure, the menu was not extensive - that just means that they will have to do a great job with it - and they did! For dessert, good vanilla ice cream and something like a chocolate brownie, I'm not sure - but it was all devoured. I apologize for the mac n cheese picture, the kids dug in before my picture - we at it all! I did NOT expect good food in the park, it has always been mediocre at best - but they really stepped it up at Mountain Room - we enjoyed all of it, and wished that we were able to get reservations the next night. As we left, the waitress and the manager, and the hostess all thanked us for coming. It was truly a wonderful feeling coming into the park and meeting employees that clearly know how to do their job and seem to be enjoying themselves. FANTASTIC!"

"Chilis has come to Merced and I gladly welcome a new place to grab some bites and drinks! Located in the Merced Mall plaza and with plenty of parking. They have a full bar with wine, spirits, and beer on tap. Happy Hour is 3-6 M-F and all day on the weekends! The lighting in this store is nice and bright!When my friend and I got here, the wait for a table was 45min. We got a seat at the bar and sat down right away because spots were available. Our server/bartender was Sylvia, who was helpful and attentive.We both ordered margaritas. Mine was the Presidente and my friend ordered the Straw-Eddy'Rita. So delicious!We ordered the Ultimate Cajun Pasta and split that between us. It was a pretty hearty portion so we were happy to split it, plus it was delicious! The menu is pretty typical of a Chili's but the staff were very helpful and kind! I'm looking forward to coming back!"

"Good basic breakfast, huge pancake, good price for the special, but the day I was there, they only had one waitress and the place was several tables and was getting busier. There were plenty of empty tables when I sat down, but wait was very long, which was problematic for me since 2 eggs, sausage, and a pancake should take 40 mins tops from order to exit and I was there almost twice that, which made me pretty late for my next activity. It was almost 30 minutes before I even got to order. I don't have anything bad to say about this place, but that's too long for me for a simple breakfast."

I made a special request for Buffalo Lemon-Pepper and they did it no problem. Found out it was a hole-in-the-wall food joint, knew the wings were gonna be FUEGO! Got my food and saw the wings came in a plastic container, I was sold on how quality the wings were gonna be. Ate my first wing with no ranch, FELL IN LOVE!!!! Ate next 11, I got a 12 piece, with ranch, nail in the coffin. Well, the ranch was coo, my favorite is from w*%#^%*, but we won't mention them lol Not gonna lie, by far the best wings in Fresno and now whenever I come up here, this place is on the must visit list!!! 10 outta 10"

"We have come here for years to the actual Market (store) portion inside the building for our family. Fresh meats, veggies, delish sides, breads, crackers, cheeses...and they have a nice variety of specialty items too! Perfect for making platters/charcuterie boards for parties, or just meals for the family. We love grabbing sandwiches at the grill outside, and with this visit, our also family stopped by for some quick and tasty goodies! Kids loved the corn dogs, fries, and pilaf. I enjoy so many items such as their pasta salad and their grilled veggies you can add to sandwiches. There is seating outside or you can take things to go. Honestly, this visit was cheaper than a traditional fast food stop, and it made the kids super happy. Quality makes a difference. Fries were fire!!!Everyone is always super friendly and helpful for both the inside market area, as well as the outside grill area too! We went inside and the kids got to reach in and pick out their favorite character ice creams to purchase, & enjoy with their lunch!Tip: If you want amazing chicken kebab, already skewered up to grill at home, this place is a must! They use the best marinade, and have for years. They sell a variety of meats to cook at home, and you can also buy a tri-tip already cooked too!Soooo many reasons to go back again soon, and we will!"

The prices were reasonable so I didn't expect too much. However I risked it by getting the chicken dish. We also got a salmon salad. It's a nice step up from the Whole Foods bar in terms of the salad. The veggies were kind of weirdly cut. It felt like cafeteria food upgraded. But the flavor was good. The portion size was also good. However the chicken dish was dry. Sitting next to us was a family with seven kids! So it's a kid friendly place. Fast casual. You grab your own utensils. I think we would be back if we were grocery shopping and needed a healthy bite. I'd get the salad again and pass on the plates."

We ordered the California chicken; juicy piece of chicken, loaded with sprouts, bacon, avocado , pepper jack cheese and pesto basil aloli. Upgraded the fries to garlic fries and glad we did. They were delicious and plentiful to share. Also ordered a build your own burger - juicy patty .... Got all the toppings on it that don't cost extra. Freshly made to order; so be prepared for a little wait. It doesn't sit under a light like McDonald's; so patience is a must. Combo comes with crinkle cut fries and a soft drink. No carbonation at the soft drink machine .... Please fix this ... no one wants to drink flat soda. There should be a sign at the counter ; letting you know ahead of time ... so you can decide if you really want that flat beverage to sip on. The bar is busy ; the drinks made by the bartenders are good and reasonable . Ordered a sex on the beach drink, was very good .there is outdoor space to hangout at when weather permits. Place can get super packed in the evenings and on weekends. Go earlier before the crowd. Good place for big parties ; kid friendly. Clean bathrooms. High chairs for kids."

Our family likes fried zucchini and it's on the menu, so we thought, why not, let's try it. Not sure about the area as I normally don't like the 9th Street area, especially near the bus station but thought well, let's keep an open mind since this place had 4 stars and good reviews. Glad we went. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive and sweet. There was more menu options online but not on the menu at the restaurant. I was going to order the wedge or blue salad but wasn't on the restaurants menu...Oh well. I had the blue burger with no salt fries, crispy, that's exactly what I got, delicious. Hubby had the pastrami burger and salad, WOW, he loved it, the others with us had the Bauer burger and they loved it as well. We loved the fried zucchini so much I ordered another, glad we did. Enjoyable afternoon with loved ones and a good meal. Highly recommend. We'll be back. Thank you for a nice experience and good meal."

Incredible chicken breast, pork ribs and tri tip with loaded baked potato. Killer steamed veggies and garlic bread. Started off with a very fresh salad, wet n dry blue cheese. I'll definitely be back. Sad to say I circumvent ranchos every time I go to madera. But with food this good I'll be changing my route."
