C F R Remodeling

The owner of CFR Remodeling is Carlos Fernandez. He added a new bathroom to my rental property in Cupertino. He did not connect the drain line of the bathroom tub. For a year and 3 months all bath water went down to the sub floor. Now it is causing me thousands of dollars to fix. Not only he is incompetent he is also deceitful. He charged me 8000 to do a new roof and the roof kept on leaking. Finally I had another licensed roofer inspected it for me and found out whatever he did made the roof even worse. He installed double pane windows but used inferior materials for the job and now the windows are falling apart. He supposed to remodel my other bathroom and he did such a poor job that you can see the gaps between the tiles. There are many many more incidents that I cannot even list them one on one here. I lived 380 miles from the property and he was taking full advantage of my trust and my inability to inspect everything he did. What ever you do, do not hire him to do any repair work on your house. It is very difficult to go after a bad contractor. I filed a complaint with board of general contractors in California and only heard from them once.
