Burger King

The power of suggestion. Lol. I've been seeing TV commercials for Burger King's Whopper Jr's, two for $5, so I decided to try them for lunch today. The burger size is like that of a small hamburger at the other hamburger place (McD). At BK though, you get mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onion. I ordered mine without onion and they obliged. The girl at the drive up window was very nice. The burgers were ok, just like my last visit (20 years ago?), but nothing I would crave again anytime soon.

CHICKEN FRIES & LARGE FRIESOver 07/04 holiday weekend while visiting family, we were craving Vietnamese for lunch but this is too adult taste for my son, so I made a side trip at Burger King. I was planning on going through drive-thru, but the line appears stuck & my lunch order was almost ready for p-u so I pulled over & went inside. The lobby was bare with a couple of customers in the dining room, not surprising due to the summer heat. The cashier was expediting drive-thru orders, so we had to wait a couple of mins. before our order was taken.I asked my 7 YO son if he wanted chicken tenders or a burger, & opted for the former. Huh? I didn't see that on the menu, & when I worked at a Burger King in my teens, they used to have tenders... now they're called chicken fries -- okayyy. It was another couple mins. wait & we were outta there. I liked the idea of chicken fries, but there's something weird about eating it. The inside doesn't look like chicken, but maybe ground chicken shaped into a stick... I don't know, it's textually off so it doesn't remind me of chicken. My son doesn't seem too fond of them either & ate them anyway, or the other choice would be Vietnamese food. The fries were nice & crisp, lightly salted; the insides were a mashed potato-like consistency, which he likes, but still doesn't reign over his fav at I&O.The counter menu didn't have any prices, & had limited options (in comparison to late 1990s). $3.99 for 9 pcs. of chicken fries (comparable to maybe 4 or 5 pcs. of chicken tenders) & regular order of fries, this seems like a good deal. We're trying to limit our fast food intake when we're here visiting family, so not likely return.Recommended: Fries; not a fan of the chicken fries.

It seems you CAN'T have it your way... Coupon in the mail prompted a sentimental visit (I was a carpenter's helper building a BK a few years back). Whopper was as expected, came with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles & loaded with mayo (always too much). The soda was jumbo (too much), the fries were crispy from their coating (cornstarch?) & salted just right. So far, no modifications requested & only minor quibbles. I also ordered a regular small cheeseburger with mustard and onion only. THEY CHARGED 25¢ EXTRA for a small piece of ONION!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!

The food is typical BK food. Service is OK. What I don't understand is why bother to download the app, order and pay on line when they don't start your order until after you have waited in line to tell them you are there. If you have a limited lunch break don't bother here. You still have to wait.

I was the only one in the drive through line, got told to wait out front for my food, by a rude gay guy Then I asked for two whoppers with cheese and bacon with no onions. And I get no cheese, no bacon, but paid extra for it. And they gave me onions and tomato outside the burger. WTF!

COVID-19 phase:Doing my assistant work. Half day today, but first, get the guys lunch. Drive-thru taken. Ordered 2 Whoppers and 2 onion rings. Paid for the order and told to drive around to wait for the onion rings to be made fresh. Shortly later, a nice, masked worker brought the order and wished me a good day! Appreciated! The guys really really enjoyed their Whoppers and fresh onion rings! Good service and food! Recommended!

I am a dasher whenever I get an order they always denied to give and lying that its already canceled but when I contacted the customer he told that's its active.The lady on duty I think her name is china behaves badly with me and told me that's she has no order.

Take out | Lunch | $1-10I work across the street and have tried three times during my lunch breaks to get food from this location. All three times my order was prepared wrong even after confirming multiple times the adjustments for my dietary needs.Employees are kind but literally everything else leaves more to be desired.

Needed something quick. I've always liked BK fries. Decided to try the chicken fries. Chicken Fries were cold AND had a huge roach in the box.

rude ass employees, don't even bother going here. it's so bad here, worst experience ever. don't recommend going here. I was being nice and patient and they had such a bad attitude towards me at drive through tonight 10:25 10/14/24. All I said was hello and the lady yelled at me to order when there was no one in the drive thru, it was empty. worst service ever in drive through, I ended up leaving and will never come back. will tell others about this.
