Brown Bear's Hot Dogs

Ordered Chili Dog, one of the best hot dog I've ever had tasted. Definitely will come back to try another hot dog. Very friendly place.

I walked up and told the owner that I have been wanting to come here for a while and he says "Well we have been here for 15 years, so you've had plenty of time." I told him that I was a slow burn. We both got a laugh. Hot dogs were incredible! Loved my sauerkraut dog and my son thought that the bacon dog was great.My wife asked me to bring home a Suicide Dog but I failed to see her request for less hot sauce. The owner said it was too spicy for him and she needed to wash her hands after eating it.While driving home, my eyes started to water from the spice from this hotdog. By the time I got home, my eyes were red and it looked like I had been crying. Told my wife it's because I missed her. She didn't buy it, took a fair amount off of the dog and enjoyed the rest.Great place! Great owner! Great food!

So grabbed the chili cheese dog with pineapple and man was it tasty. The chili had a good kick to it but with the pineapple it was a great combo. It's a little stand and the main donning is outside which isn't bad at all. It's hidden so not too many people pass by or gets crowded. They were fast to make the food and kept it simple. If you are looking for a mom and pop place for hot dogs this is definitely the place to go. They had so many different styles of hotdogs.

Forgot the names already but the one with the fried chow mein was something I've never thought existed. The guy warned me on how spicy it is and I honestly didn't think it was as spicy but I eat extremely hot salsa daily...who knows..my taste buds are fried. I also tried the basic Chilli dog and I can't complain..the pineapple on it was different but it paired well. the actual dogs are high quality. Ingredients all seemed fresh and the owner or guy working there was super friendly. There's a few tables outside you'd like to eat there.

I have no idea if this spot is underrated or not but this is the best chili dog I've ever had. The man was incredibly nice I believe he was the owner. If you appreciate a good dog come here it does not disappoint. Cute little walk up window I believe it also has a drive through. We will definitely be back!

Great small business with outdoor sitting, bought the pastrami dog, amazing ingredients with thin pastrami, saukerkraut, pickles, and amazing tasting dog and bun. Comes with a soda. Exactly what you want! Thank you!

Hot dogs are one of my least favorite things to eat but I married someone who loves them. Him and I will meet for lunch from time to time, and one day he wanted a hot dog, so I met him at Brown Bear. I was hungry that day. Now when my kids complain about what is being served, I tell them to suck it up and find something they can tolerate, so I figured I had better practice what I preach, so I ordered a hot dog. Let me tell you! I absolutely loved it! Idk what they do different but they are so good! I had not had one in several years, but two days ago I started craving a hot dog and could not get it out of my head. Tonight I made a quick run before closing to get myself one and I was not disappointed!

I've always experienced amazing customer service while purchasing hot dogs from Brown Bear.Today 07/31/24 I received horrible customer service from the male in glasses working register. I was very understanding, and informed the employee my order was wrong in the politest way possible!! The individual taking my order was extremely rude and was not willing to fix my order and gave it back to me and told me "whatever". I still ended up purchasing another hot dog and I will say WORST customer service I've ever experienced! I'm more than willing to go back. If I experience this again I will make it informative.

Hot dogs are good and filling! Lol. I ordered three thinking they were small or regular sized hot dogs but nope! These hot dogs are big and thy load it with topping! I love how much chili thy put on the chili dogs. Service was fast, has a convenient little drive thru so i can go in my pajamas on my lazy day lol

Love the customer service, been coming here for years. Great hotdogs and can't beat the price.
