Bob's Coffee Shop

Today my wife and I had the opportunity to try out Bob's Coffee Shop in Hughson. We had heard about it from a worker at a nearby cafe who sometimes works at both. As we like to have Sunday breakfast out from time to time, this seemed to be just the place. Parking was easy, just a few steps from the front of Bob's. From the moment we stepped into this very busy but well run place, we knew it was going to be good. The dishes of the other diners looked great, the staff quite busy seeing to their needs, and all had the feel of a place we would want to visit again.We were seated promptly, got menus immediately, and had our drinks in hand momentarily. I had iced tea, my wife had coffee. She never saw the bottom of the cup. She was still talking about how good it was an hour after we left. I noticed that the tea was not bitter as at some places (mostly if it is wet and in a reasonably clean glass I am happy). She ordered the Bob's Special and loved it (it looked good, I think I will try it next time). I ordered the chorizo and cheese and enjoyed it very much. Plentiful and well made. I thought it was overdone at first until I remembered chorizo can look that way when cooked. Rather than the carbs of pancakes or toast, I had bananas (our waitress came buy and offered me more after she saw how small the portion one. Good example of being proactive. We noticed that the staff worked like a finely tuned machine, supporting each other while taking care of the large crowd. KUDOSOverall, a very good place, one you want to support as it is local and "mom and pop" just as we like, certainly worth returning to.

Ambiance? It is a diner. Clean and maintained. Service was impeccable. Coffee never got cold or low. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty. When it comes to American diners, I place this one above average. Speed of service was notably fast. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy all good. Had french toast on the side and it was great. If you are looking for a decent diner, this one will do you right.

Took 45 minutes for two breakfast burritos with no customers in the restaurant. The burrito's were bland with no flavor , the name of the place is bobs coffee shop but they don't have any coffee drinks just regular coffee and that's it .

Took my 2 boys to brunch here today, per my father-in-law's recommendation. It was EXCELLENT food! I ordered the 'Everything Omelet' I believe it was called...? It was 1 of the best Omelets I've literally ever had! My son ordered a dbl burger & DEVOURED it so fast...the servers were A+. Highly recommend this place & will return again!

Bad service waited 10 minutes and wasn't given a menu or someone say we'll be with you in a bit. We left

I love bobs! Omelette and potatoes are so yummy! And the biscuits and gravy is a white based gravy and is so yummy! The staff is amazing too! Such a great price and super quick service!!

Love coming here. Great breakfast. Great service. Depending on what day of the week you come it will be full or not. Saturday's and Sunday expect full house.

The food was delicious! It was my fist time going to Bob's in Hughson. I highly recommend the mushroom omelette with chilaquiles. The best chilaquiles I've had!The waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Can't wait to go back!!

we got served spoiled chocolate milk and it ruined our breakfast. The food had a weird smell too, i think they really check to see if theres a problem with where the food is stored because everything had a weird smell/taste. We just ate and paid, but we will never return back after that experience. This place used to be a breakfast go to, honestly so sad to see them not care about the food quality.

Well I devoured my food before I got a bite , but man oh man I got their country potatoes and strawberry waffles and I ate until I truly couldn't anymore . I got it to go and the way they packaged it was amazing . Waffles and potatoes separate. Strawberries in a cup by the side, so it didn't make the waffles soggy, with packaged silverware, ketchup, butter, etcetc, they truly made sure I had anything and everything I could need for this meal. It was made so fast and so fresh, the server up front was so nice and polite . Thank you guys. Truly .
