This Bobby Salazar's location seems better suited for a bar hang, rather than a sit down dinner. The bar area here is massive and the dining area is a tiny room. Plus you can order food at the bar. My last visit here I ordered the special, which was a red Chile pork plate with rice and beans. The pork was dry and the spice level was really lacking. It's odd that the pork would be dry, it basically sits in a broth filled pot and simmers all day. Which should increase the juiciness and tenderness. I did enjoy the refried beans and rice that came with my plate.Everyone had the same feelings towards the food. Nothing was bad, it just all seemed to lack flavor and a little kick. We did all like our margaritas and the service was very fast and attentive.Parking here can be tough. There's free two-hour street parking and a large free lot across the street at the Best Western hotel. I would come back, but probably just to watch some football and belly up to the bar with some friends. Cheers!

Que mierda!Short ribs so dried out and salty that they should not serve them to people. My meal was greasy and unappetizing.Bartender had the personality of a phone book. A run-down and neglected disappointment.

I was desperate and this was fast delivery on DoorDash. I ordered the Monster Burrito with refried beans, boiled chicken, Mexican rice, jack cheese & mole (and paid for extra mole). The burrito was fine and ultimately tasted okay but whatever sauce they put in it was NOT a mole. My guess is they did not have mole and rather than communicate that or decline the order they just put whatever sauce they had. Extra disappointing since I paid for extra mole.

First time here, and i definitely have been missing out. I got the smaller and OMG everything was so delicious!! The waiters were great, keeping our drinks coming. Now, this place has a club like scenario as well and even tho I do not do clubs! So music is super loud, but I absolutely loved it, we were in the back just dancing and signing along! The music choice was great, nothing crazy or inappropriate. It was great! We will definitely be back!

Came here on a Friday Night in a group of 8. We were seated in a fairly reasonable amount of time. We got comfortable, got started on our chips and salsa, then were told that they had made a mistake, and that they needed the table for another party. All 8 of us, then had to get up gather up all our things, and move to another table. Some chairs were mismatched and uncomfortable, and had to shift a bit. When the order was taken, it honestly seemed like we were bothering the server. Smiles were not present. We went over and beyond to say, "Thank you so much," "We appreciate it," etc. whenever we asked for something...guess what, no pleasantries in return. All business, bringing things out. To me, the vibe of a restaurant has so much to do with the friendly customer service, and though the food was brought out, it was kinda uncomfortable. I tried to ignore it, but it definitely affected our family dinner. I got veggie tacos, and the rice was dry and was flavorless. The veggies inside the tacos, though there was a variety, were dripping in oil. The fries in the California Burrito ordered were shoestring and didn't enhance the flavor at all. The kids who had fries with their meal- didn't even take down the fries either- just not great quality, flavor, or well prepared. When I'm excited about a dining experience, I'm all about taking pictures like crazy. I realized, taking one pic of of my food was a stretch. My fork was thin and all bent up, and overall- like I was quite disappointed. We have come here for so many years. I truly hope caring for customers somehow becomes a priority again. This place is a fixture in our community. Nutshell- we got food, they do offer Karoake on Fridays, but unfortunately I will not plan on returning anytime soon.

Restaurant was clean and had a few TVs up with games playing on the bar side. Server was friendly and kept our drinks full. The food came out quickly. This is definitely Americanized Mexican food but it is still good. The fancy flour nachos were loaded and the chips still mostly crisp. The taco and Chili Relleno had a good flavor. The price is a little high but that is everywhere's

I'm so humiliated. I walked in with a party of 4 . They refused me a drink out of my whole party . I can't fathom the embarrassment I felt . We go every year after the rodeo . We will not be back . I will forever hold a bad taste in my mouth towards Bobby's . Really really disappointed. Thanks for embarrassing me .

You can never go wrong with a Fancy Burrito. Both the chili verde and the chili con carne are delicious! Lots of meat, sauce and cheese on a fresh and soft flour tortilla. So good! They're huge, so I have 1/2 left for lunch the next day. Not into leftovers? You can order a Half Fancy and save yourself a couple dollars, but I vote for the whole enchilada! I mean burrito! Nice atmosphere, good service (even when we have group of us). Amazing chips and salsa at Bobby's, too.

Never disappoints! Always great friendly service and the food is always hot and fresh. They have plenty of seating and the bar area is great for fun gatherings.I grew up with the original Sal's and happy the recipes continue with the family traditions. I have since moved from the area but when I come to visit, I make sure to stop in and have a great meal ... no matter what I order.
