Blue Heron Restaurant & Yosemite Grill

Bartender Denise is AMAZING!!!! Now the crowd at times, is a roll of the dice! Tonight customers were on a roll: one be arguing (when not needed and one probably too drunk) over a waitress error of a $17 margarita, one complaining about his t-bone steak being served too raw, and me debating if I should just eat fries and run! I ordered the pot stickers...delicious (sorry no pic), and steak, actually came out medium! Price is decent, but just gotta be ready for the crowd!

The food is decent. However, they always bring everything out at once. I frequently eat here since it's close to the house. But they always bring your entree before you're done with a salad. So the food gets cold because you're enjoying an app or a salad.

The food and the are amazing considering the cost. Well worth the drive and they have a great view of the lake!

I am glad to report i am now a regular customer of this establishment. It just steadily gets better every time I visit. The food alone is worth the drive up from Fresno or Clovis. Everything I'm ordering lately tastes great and is of great portion. They really have it figured out in the kitchen. The staff is friendly and attentive, and really do seem to be happy to be working there and part of that team. Ambiance. Here is where I cannot say enough. The restaurant is on the Lake in a great setting. There is a clubhouse,, ended up here in these mountains. You don't have to be a member to show up and eat like some of the other joints down the hill. Setting couldn't be better. Then at the back of the facility you have a HUGE indoor/outdoor full service bar and grill. As of right now, easily a 5 star spot up in these Mountains.

This place puts the "country" in country club!Honestly, if this review were based on the food alone, I would probably give it three stars, but my wife and I enjoyed the remote location and the "show" that came with dinner. (We sat outside and watched the ducks and geese in the pond nearby.)We found the waitstaff friendly and hospitable, but some of the guests were pretty loud, presumably from hitting the sauce. One of the guests had a dog with him who defecated under the wedding gazebo, and another camo-clad pipe-smoking patron starting fishing in the pond. The place definitely has its share of characters.

The service is always great and the food never disappoints. Although I wish there were more vegetarian options. Lovely setting by the water and rustic inside.

Every time I have been there the Food and service has been very good. They cater to the locals. I don't live there but is dining room is full they make room in banquet are or the bar area.

Live music and good food, the place is surrounded by a little lake. The mountain mashers are delicious

Great food! Great and friendly service . Be careful though, you can't take a stroll around the lakes after dining because the outside area (excluding gold course) is off limits to non-residents.

Beautiful setting, friendly service and delicious food options. Come experience fine dining in the restaurant or a casual atmosphere in the same building at Yosemite Grill and bar complete with tables and the full menu. Once you've experienced the scrumptious cuisine and inviting staff you'll return time and time again.
