Birrieria El Nino

I am glad I made this random stop in the middle of a random part of Fresno I found myself in. I literally just looked for local restaurants and picked one that was open. Once I saw a dish I've never seen before, I was hooked. Aporreadillo is a combination, I'm told by the friendly and patient staff, of fried egg and fried beef "jerky". The beef was crisp and well flavored but not tough by any stretch. There were five! freshly made tortillas and I filled every one and devoured. There was plenty of food and it all went down super easy. The beans were this nice creamy style I've never seen before and the remaining dish just has all the little extras you'd like (read: veggies, lemon). For a most unassuming place, I took it as a good sign that it was full of Central Americans, and that paid off. Glad I rolled with the 5-stars and not the 2-stars here.

Bomb dot com. Love the Birria de chivo.Definitely would recommend it. Excellent service and cleanliness.

Top Tier Mexican Food *Chef's Kiss* Kinda hidden but oh lord, once you find it, there's no going back to anything else, this restaurant sets the standard very high. Definitely recommend.

Very disappointed. I was looking for a Birria place in Fresno and after reading reviews, I decided to give it a try. I ordered for a large bowl of birria de Chivo, just meat, no fat. My birria had so much fat and "cueros". The flavor was missing. The caldo was very blend and the tortillas estaban desabridas... I also ordered a Quesabirria.... Very poorly made.. it was very oily and blend... I'm not sure if today was an off day, but I didn't like it at all. Definitely going back to my regular birria place in Tulare. Also, they change the menu everyday... I wanted to order something else since I didn't like the birria. I wanted sopes, but they only have sopes Monday - Wednesday.

Favorite Spot when I'm craving Quesabirria Tacos extra crunchy!! ONLY PLACE I go to! Dad and Brother also love it! Thanks to my sister for introducing it to me. Service is Quick ! Restaurant is small for always being busy especially on weekends.

Amazingly delicious food, fresh tortillas made. The ambience is family friendly and has a good seating inside. It's parked with people on Sunday for sure, service is fast and satisfactory! Must place for birrieria.

Im not too fond of it, but it's my husbands favorite. The tortillas are homemade, good service. It's always too crowded though and it stresses me out.

Ordered 4 enchiladas roja with rice and beans. Was okay. Fast and friendly service. Lots of salsa options. Not sure if we would come back. It's known for Birria but I didn't order it so maybe I ordered the wrong thing!Update, we found chicken bones in the chicken enchiladas. Chicken was very dry. 3 out of 4 of us got a tummy ache after leaving. Rice and beans were okay and the workers were super nice so giving 2 stars. Will not come back. Sorry guys!

Love their birria!! So full of flavor and fresh taste. Have had it a couple of times here and has been delicious. It's a bit pricey but worth it. The place size is ok but does have a good amount of birria in it. So delicious with cilantro,onions and the oil chilli that they provide- bring out an amazing taste! Meat is very tender and fresh. Freshly made corn tortillas are paired with it. My son had some of their asada tacos with rice and beans, taco size is a bit bigger than standard size tortillas- plate was around $15 for 3 tacos with rice and beans. I only come here whenever I'm in the mood for some birria.
