BevMo

Really nice store. After the great Modernist Yelp Elite event where I had the best wine! S.L.H. Pinot Noir. Called to see if they had it and they did! Had them hold it and went to pick it up. The store was very clean and well taken care of. Had great music playing! The workers were really nice. Had the wine ready after telling the worker it was on hold. The bottle was brought up. Easy checkout. Had the wine with lunch and it was very, good! VERY! A PRETTY GREAT BUZZ! ONE GLASS IS ALL IT TOOK! =)~~~~~~~Great store and great service! Highly recommended!

I was introduced into BevMo when I lived in SoCal as the Central Valley did not have one yet. I fell in love with this place because they have every alcoholic beverage you can think of from 20k wines to unique findings like Rumchata.They have everything you can possibly imagine. This BevMo is very organized, the staff is friendly and the prices are not bad. I want to try all the unique flavors of alcohol but I know that won't be possible in a life time! I ended up getting 3 bottles of wine, Stella Rose Black, Skinny Comso and Ruffino something.Definitely will be returning. It is fun to look and see the different wines and I like to buy bottles randomly. Come check it out!

New Clovis location is close to my house so I shop here more often. I read other reviews & see the disappointment with customer service but I have not shared that experience. I went in (in a hurry) one day and said I need 6 bottles of wine, 3 red, 3 white and want to find wine with buy one get one for 5 cents. Within 5 minutes I was up at the register checking out thanks to the help of BevMo employees. One day I went in and asked for help finding a particular beet. BevMo employee said, "follow me." She knew exactly where it was & also offered, "if you like that, you'll probably like this..."Didn't give 5 stars only because I think prices for wine bags & gifty items are a bit high.

I come to this Bevmo once in awhile for gifts, but because I live near Winco, I've found they have a pretty good craft beer selection as well. The prices are fair, but the selection is okay. The only thing was I was trying to look for craft beer for my husband for his birthday. I picked up the whiskey craft beer and apparently, it was either broken or opened because it spilled all over me. Luckily, the only place I had to go to was Jimmy John's because I smelled like I was drunk. I couldn't find another staff besides the girl at the register so by the time I got to the register, I forgot which beer it was.

First time here, inside the store is clean and organized. I like walking through the beer section and laughing at the funny names on some of the bottles and cans. Customer service was helpful in answering my question.

I am intensely annoyed with Bevmo, NOT the local store, but whatever part of Corporate manages their bad website. I wanted to order a bottle of good scotch to send to an elderly friend residing in an old folks home up in Los Gatos. The website keeps turning down my order with the message "address verification failed. Transaction not completed." I tried to call the "customer service" number this AM where a robovoice informed me that "due to the high volume of calls... bla bla bla" basically "screw off and use our Live chat." I attemped to do so and, so far 15 minutes later, I am still WAITING. I am a customer willing to buy an expensive bottle of scotch to send to a friend and I am unable to complete the transaction!BevMo the local store is okay, but the company itself, the schmucks running things really SUCK!!

I was greeted as soon as I came into the store by rickey. He came to help me as soon as he finished what he was doing and I was thankful because I couldn't find the particular wine I needed. He quickly helped me find my selections and got me along my way. He was friendly and attentive. Great job Rickey! Happy customer here

Went to the Bevmo in Fresno to see if they had a certain wine, an employee checked the computer to see if the Clovis store carried it and told me they didn't.I called anyway to see if Clovis had it since I bought at the Clovis location a few months prior. The girl who answered had me repeat myself and spell out "SIP" moscato and she flat out told me after repeating myself three times that they didn't carry it. Knowing I had bought it before I went anyway to see what else they had, low and behold there was the wine I had asked for. I know how customer service works as I also work retail and I was disappointed I asked two Bevmo employees and they were wrong.

Pros: good selectionCons: rude managersI try to avoid this chain whenever possible but sometimes when I'm in a bind I'll come in and get treated like a dirt bag because I'm buying cigars as gifts. Service is good until you ask for help....that's when all hell breaks loose. Prices aren't great but they have a good selection. They get these holiday gift sets with free cups and shakers in and they split them up so you won't find these bargain gift sets there.So I'm buying some cigars as a gift for my friend's birthday. I talked to the friendly cashier and he calls the manager to assist me with the locked cigar case. She was the most unfriendly person I've ever met. She approached me with a look that says I'm wasting her precious time and asked If I know what I want. After she grabbed the cigars for me she just hands them to the cashier and walks away. I asked if I can have an empty cigar box and they said no. I stopped at Cigars Limited on the way home and got treated like a real person. The guy gave me a quick tour of the place, asked if I had a certain preference and etc., then left me alone to play with whatever cigars I wanted. And he gave me a box. And the price was cheaper. I wouldn't have known just how bad the service was at BevMO if I didn't stop at Cigars Limited.

Stopped by to purchase a few bottles of nice wine...i.e. behind a locked glass door. I had to wait in a line behind 5 people just to ask if someone could assist me by opening the cooler. I was told his "buddy" was on break and when he returned, he would come over and help me. After waiting an appropriate time, I returned to the check out line where the "buddy" was now checking people out and the original person was MIA. Again waiting in line to ask for help, a person in front of me asked if someone could assist them. He waved a hand at the store and replied, "I don't know, he's out there somewhere." At this , I gave up and went elsewhere. I realize times are tough with staff, etc. BUT...don't lock up merchandise that no one is available to open! Will order online from now on for sure.
