This restaurant is very professional "I'm absolutely blown away by the incredible dining experience at Bay Leaf Indian Kitchen! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and inviting aromas that set the tone for a fantastic meal.The service was top-notch - attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly staff made sure we felt right at home. But the real star of the show was, of course, the food!Each dish we ordered was expertly prepared, presented, and packed with depth of flavor. From the tender, fall-off-the-bone meats to the rich, velvety sauces and perfectly balanced spices, every bite was a masterclass in Indian cuisine.Portion sizes were generous, and prices were very reasonable considering the exceptional quality and care that clearly goes into every aspect of this restaurant.If you're a fan of Indian food - or just great food in general - do yourself a favor and get to Bay Leaf Indian Kitchen ASAP! Second time we've been here and we wanted to try a few new things. Food this time was as delicious as before. Ambiance is still very cute and eclectic -- we enjoyed the Indian music playing. The service is still friendly and excellent -- food came out extremely fresh and hot and clearly wasn't sitting around. We miss the fun robot a bit -- but we assume that was just due to covid and it's no longer needed. One new item we tried this visit was onion bhaji as an appetizer with a couple of different chutneys. This arrived to the table hot and crispy and perfectly cooked. We haven't tried these before but they reminded us of onion rings, but with Indian seasonings. They weren't in "ring" form though. The onions were perfectly cooked -- not under- or overcooked. And the batter was light and crispy. Those were great.Another new item we tried here was shahi paneer and it compared favorably to shahi paneer we've had at other places -- paneer cubes in a delicious creamy sauce with a bit of a bite to it (we ordered everything "medium" spice). The garlic naan was a highlight -- just the perfect combination of crispy and chewy and slightly charred.The aloo gobi was excellent -- because it is not a "sauced" dish, at some places the aloo gobi can be a little too dry or bland -- but this aloo gobi was cooked with plenty of oil and onions and was really delicious.We'll definitely continue to come back here.

Service: Very good. Asked for everything to be w/out cilantro. Fish Pakora had cilantro but it was quickly resolved & recooked. Great service!Ambiance is fine!ORDER:Samosa: not very crispy, tender & lightly spicy w/really good little salad. Fish Pakora: not very crispy, but tender & lightly spicy.Regular Naan & Garlic Naan: good. Lamb Biryani: Probably my least favorite thing I got. Lamb was a bit tough & dry. Goat Curry: Sauce is soooo flavorful! Goat was good. Chicken Tikka Masala: Sauce is soooo flavorful! Chicken was a bit hard & tough tho. Baingan Bharta: Delicious! Something I always get at Indian restaurants & this may be my favorite one yet. I imagine the chicken & lamb probably were better earlier in the evening. I ordered at 9pm. Overall, really happy I tried this place! Will come back again.

Wow! Stopped in for their lunch buffet on a weekday and I was really impressed. Not a huge variety, but everything was excellent. Pakora was crispy, chicken korma was not dry, tandoori chicken was super flavorful. The people working there were very nice.$14.99 gets you all you can eat entrees, naan (I got garlic) and a drink (I got a mango lassi. I think this is one of the better deals around.

Drove out from the Bay Area to check this place out. They didn't seem to know what gluten free was so I had to explain. I thought the pictures on yelp were pretty convincing about labeling of gluten free items etc but the menu that was presented was very different so I don't know if someone uploaded the wrong photos to this location but I've included the current menu photos. The menu is extensive and there is lots to choose from, however there was a section or two that was not complete, example; using Lorem Ipsum filler text that gives me no idea what the actual item contains/flavor profiles. They were very quick and got everything to my table in a very timely manner. Flavors are good and spice level is perfect but it's not drive-from-the-bay-area worth it. Unlike the description, there is no robot service. Maybe the buffet is great, but it wasn't offered middle of the week/middle afternoon.

Ordered on door dash and nothing comes with rice(even though the picture shows rice). I paid 35 dollars for 2 small containers of food. Aloo gobi is complete mush. First and last time ordering.

I tried this place a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately, this time the main dish was a miss. I tried the chicken masala and it didn't have any flavor to it. I asked for medium spice and it didn't have any spice at all. Didn't seem to have any salt in it. I tried the bread with the onion and spices on the inside, just didn't really have a flavor that I preferred. I have tried other dishes that were tasty but this one was a miss this time.The service was good and the staff was nice and checked on everyone to make sure they were doing well. The ambience is nice with the music in the background. Sometimes it's a little loud, but it's tolerable.
