Roast pork over rice. Great dish, but their veggies are ALWAYS the champion of their dish. (Different veggie each day.)
Menu
Roast pork was delicious. But the credit really goes to the lightly flavored broccoli. 5 out of 5. Grateful to have this in Fresno.

I've been here many times dating back to childhood that I'm surprised I have never written a review on this place. It has been a tradition of my mom and I to shop at RN Asian grocery market (back when it was right next door) and going to this bakery after. I love it for the nostalgia and the moon cakes * insert drool hereFrom my understanding, correct me if I'm wrong, they are the only Chinese bakery in town. Popular items are the steamed or baked pork buns , my family lives for the steamed pork buns especially in cold weather. They also have guava pastries, sesame balls and egg tarts. All of which are delicious. While picking up a usual order of steamed buns to take to my parents I thought to try the bbq pork plate $12.99. (Pictured) charsui pork served with a ton of rice and broccoli. Delicious in its on right however nothing to go running home about. 3/5 stars for me. Wish it came with a noodle option or a dipping sauce .Service was good, a quick in and out establishment. No seats to dine in. My only con is it's CASH ONLY. It has always been cash only which can be a little inconvenient. I just have to remember to get cash back from RN market and make my way to this bakery to continue my little market/ bakery tradition.

Bakery Delights offers humble Chinese pastries for cash only.Service was speedy yet friendly. The pastries are notably better earlier in the day as they stop being replenished. As they're on displayed for hours, the fried items end up being a tad greasy and limp.*Fried Pork Dumpling: was crispy and golden when I first visited but subsequent orders were oily and soft. The meat filling was salty, sweet and umami with an occasional juicy, savory bite of mushroom. There could have been a bit more meat filling inside though.*Egg Tart: the crust was mostly flakey but the center was soft from the oil. The custard was mildly sweet with subtle creaminess. The flavor wasn't the most pronounced I've tried and I wished there was greater browning on top. They're a bit small for $3.I'll still come back if I have a few spare dollars and craving for a meat dumpling but I understand that it's a gamble on the quality.

Been going to Bakery Delights since the early 2000s however ownership did change just after Covid restrictions were lifted but the new owners have continued to maintain the legacy and some. Also, the menu items did expand since then but the known staples that I've been accustomed to which are roasted pork, peking duck, steamed rice cake along with their baked and steamed buns receipe seem to have remained the same. Their other pastries are also very good. If there is a con, it would be just their "cash only" policy. In this day and age, we as a sociey have advanced to a cashless system but I guess some things just don't change. Come check them out when you get the chance!

My daughter and I have been searching far and wide for red bean buns and I'm so thankful that I came across this café that not only sells red meat buns. They had an assortment of other bakery goods and even roasted duck, and a roasted pig. We ordered a few red bean buns and sesame seed, red bean balls and my daughter wanted to try a steamed pork bun. The only take cash so I had to find an ATM nearby. Luckily there was one across the street. There is a long line, but it's worth the wait!

A hole in the wall take out spot with a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries. Seems family owned and staff is very sweet and patient with explaining the menu. It is a cash only establishment. There's a gas station in the same shopping center that has an atm. The food definitely has potential, but the pastries were served room temperature and the roasted duck bowl was served in a container that does not retain heat well. We ate about 30 mins after and the food was already cold. This place would definitely benefit from heating up their food before serving:)The roasted duck is served with steamed broccoli and a thin delicious sauce made from the drippings. I also got the steamed pork bun, baked pork bun, egg tart, and ube mochi bun. Definitely recommend the baked bun over the steamed bun. The egg tart was solid and the mochi bun had the best texture (make sure you get to the middle) and a nice subtly sweet flavor.

Bakery Delights is a true hidden gem, offering beautifully crafted pastries and more that are as delicious as they are visually appealing. On my first visit, I was thoroughly impressed, and the experience left me eager for more. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of this delightful spot. The pan dan was exceptionally soft with a perfectly balanced sweetness that didn't overwhelm the palate. The baked pork bao bun was generously packed with flavorful, tender pork--each bite bursting with satisfaction. Every item I tried was a testament to the love and skill the chefs pour into their creations.Bakery Delights has quickly become one of my new favorite spots for outstanding food, and it's a must-visit for anyone in search of delicious, thoughtfully made treats both sweet and savory.

Family owned business w/excellent friendly customer service. Ambiance...ummm, no, but at a place like this, why would you expect it? You go to grab some buns & go! ORDER:Steamed barbecue buns: Nicely stuffed, good flavor. Baked barbecue buns: Nicely stuffed, good flavor. Pineapple bun: Haven't tried it yet! Onion buns: Probably my favorite along w/the egg tart. Oniony tender dough. Sesame ball: Tad greasy, but I wasn't mad at it. Egg tart: Soooo tasty. Touch of sweet w/out being too much. Barbecue pork pie: Pastry is fine, but not as filled as the buns. Ok. 1 pound roasted pork: Delicious, nicely salted & skin still had some crisp despite not being right out of the fryer.1 pound pound barbecue pork: Delicious, flavorful & juicy.Didn't know about this place til I saw a local food review video. I thought, "I need to try that! It's been forever since I had a Chinese bakery." I was spoiled living in SF for a year w/so many great great places. But that's been a long time. So, when Yelp Elite had an event here, that was the push to finally come. As you can see, not only did I get my 2 free buns, but also a free bento box. How cute! Ok, and not only did I get the 2 buns but a million more & the pork by the pound. Everything was great & so worth it. BRING ACTUAL CASH!REAL MONEY REQUIRED!

I love this place and have ordered many different items; however I've noticed that lately their baked pork buns are lacking fillings. I'm getting mostly bread.
