Baker custom Cabinets5starsWe hired BCC to replace the current kitchen cabinets that were aged in our home. Let me tell you THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB. From start to finish we had clear communication through phone, email and text. We met with the BCC team in our home to discuss planning and cabinet options. We had never done this type of remodel so everything was new to us. They arrived to our home ahead of time (which was greatly appreciated) typically I'm the one who arrives early. While we were discussing options, it was clear to me that they were very knowledgeable about their skill. "Anything you want, we can do."They brought samples of cabinet styles they offered. We had a large selection to choose from. Every color, detail, stain was shown to us as an option. We started with inexpensive to the "Mercedes Benz" of cabinets. We choose a cabinet style and I began to explain that I wanted to add trash cans, a place for my baking supplies and a few drawers here and there. They took measurements and said okay, well send you an email with the images of what the cabinets will look like and you let us know if it is what you like or if you want to add/change anything, you let us know. I said great, I'll be waiting. 2 days later I had and email with a 3D drawing of our new cabinets! it was so exciting!After we approved the drawings, got all the final touches done. About 2 weeks later they showed up in a BCC truck and trailer to drop off our cabinets. We scheduled an install date and again, they showed up on time and prepared for the day. After install they cleaned up any mess that was made and made sure it was what we expected. It was excellent customer service.Our cabinets are beautiful, I'm so happy with them. We have 2 kids under 2, the first thing the kids touch, are the cabinets. I can wipe the cabinets with no issues. They shine just like they did they first day we got them.This is a company who can provided service to all homes. They made it very easy and convenient. We would recommend Baker Custom Cabinets to anyone!

Baker custom built our 36" bathroom vanity and the matching tri-view mirror medicine cabinet similar to the ones I was replacing. My old vanity had three drawers and Baker was able to add a fourth drawer without compromising the size of the drawers. They replicated the vanity and tri-view basically identical to what I had. I couldn't be happier because I searched and searched for something similar to what we had and couldn't find it.Raul was very helpful when I discussed what I wanted. The price for both pieces is very reasonable especially for custom built. The two units are beautiful.Thank you Raul and the cabinet maker!

Everything you need to know about this business can be learned from their about me page on their website. In the first sentence they list their specialties as cabinets for apartments and tract homes. If you are building a low end house or apartment they might be an OK choice. Drawer slides and hinges on the cabinets are of mediocre quality at best. The stain on the cabinets does look really nice, however they didn't mask too well and got it all over the melamine on the inside of several cabinets. It did clean off but left some stains. I put Kraft-Made cabinets from Lowe's in my last house, the fit and finish on those was equal or a tad better, hinges and slides were definitely higher quality. If you deal with this cabinet company for any reason (they were who my builder used) don't expect the cabinets they deliver to be the quality of the showroom displays. If you have the option to look elsewhere do so.

I would say Meh....The actual cabinetry is good. The problem is with installation. Baker proper does not do the installation, their guys do it as a side business. This was not ideal. It took nearly a week to install and then they couldn't install the panels on my fridge. I had to call in another cabinet maker to perform this task. This is all a day before Thanksgiving which I was hosting. Not the perfect situation. They still have not yet finished the touch up paint.

Doyle and his team were easy to work with, made sensible recommendations and followed through on their word. Baker Custom Cabinets promised we'd have a kitchen before the holidays and they delivered! Tony and Doyle installed all the new cabinetry to perfection. Everything went smooth and we are enjoying our new cabinets. Baker Custom Cabinets has several cabinet designs and color options to choose from. They also have a great select of cabinet hardware.

We had them work with us on our design and it came out great! We had them come back and make some more cabinets for our wine area. Great job and great price!

Western builders contract with Baker cabinets.We upgraded our kitchen to the white cabinets. The paint started to chip within a few months of installation and now a year later, it looks very bad. Western was to have Baker come redo, but it still hasn't been done. I was quite surprised of the shoddy work, especially since it was considered a Western upgrade.

I have had the opportunity to use Baker Custom Cabinets on 3 projects in the past 4 years. Each time the experience was professional and timely. My kitchen was done in 2017 and remains beautiful and functional. My business needed bathrooms vanities in a hurry and they completed them as asked. I would recommend Baker Cabinets in a heartbeat.

Nice finish. Low quality. High prices. Terrible service.Let's start with something positive. The finish was really nice. They were able to match a sample of custom stain that we found and actually make it look a little better.It was downhill from there. When we had their estimator out to measure and quote he said he could do an edge detail that we wanted. No problem he said. When it came time to pick the detail he had go adjust the quote. Nearly $5,000 more! That was frustrating.Then we got in to design. I had to basically do everything. Baker provided no useful feedback. I would send sketches and drawings and they would, eventually, send drawings back. It took about 3 months to go through the design with them. They said it would take 1-2 weeks! I typically had to wait at least one week for feedback on a drawing and I had to call, and email, to follow up.Then I got the quote for that special stain I mentioned. An extra $2,000! Now I am feeling nickel and dime setting in. Baker was only a little cheaper than the other quote I had and now they are even...From when I signed off until they showed up it was basically on time. So that's good.The cabinets showed up. We were just exiting lock down due to covid and the delivery crew had no masks. And looked at me like I was crazy or even offensive for wearing one. This was in late May 2020. We know now covid was serious. Even in Madera which was in full lock down shortly after delivery.As I was looking them over I realized they were make of 100% particle board. I thought I was getting plywood! There wasn't a dovetail to be found. Only a few staples holding the particle board together. They are cheaper in construction than big box cabinets but for a higher price. They didn't even bother to put all the screws in then drawer slides and claim it is fine. The manufacturers instructions clearly call for screws in to the cabinet fronts. But they don't do it. When I called to discuss they just said "that is what you ordered." Time to install. Lots of issues. Their measurements were off and they had to be sanded to fit the range. Our under counter fridge didn't fit at all. When I called for help they just said "we made the panel the right size" and offered no further help.Then it got bad.The first time someone pulled on the pull-out trash the panel fell off. Looking at the screws they were only into the wood by one thread. When I called Baker to let them know they said "impossible. That never happens." I had to press. Hard. To get them to do anything. They eventually agreed to make a new adapter but never actually said they did anything wrong. They just kept saying our installers did it wrong. I measured the screws. They were too short. Simple explanation. It would be simple for Baker to fix. Just admit they were short and fix it. Nope. Denied responsibility.Then there were the shelves. Only a few of them fit. Almost all of them had to be trimmed. Then ones that did fit were all chipped on the edges.For every issue that came up they told me "that's what you ordered" or "must have been your installers".Then it really got bad.I had a pretty significant list of fixes that needed attention. They did send a crew to take care of them but the crew was rushing and didn't want to fix all the issues. They were not prepared with the proper tools and had to keep calling the shop for permission to actually fix things.They did do me one solid but they ruined it. My installers drilled the holes for two of the drawers in the wrong spot. And like any pro who stands behind their work the offered to fix it for free. To get the paint right my installers took the drawers to Baker to get them repainted and Baker offered to paint them for free. Now at this point we're still in the midst of getting the list of fix it items taken care of and when my installers went back to pick up the drawers Baker refused to give them to them because I hadn't paid Baker yet because Baker hadn't finished their job yet. When I talked to the foreman at Baker he yelled at me and was very threatening. I was seriously uncomfortable to even talk to the guy.It was constant excuses and blame game. No ownership whatsoever. And speaking of ownership did the owner of Baker ever check in on me as an unhappy customer. No! Never. Not one call. Even when I specifically asked him to call me to resolve a series of complaints that I had. I left messages multiple times. This is a man who simply doesn't care about his customers or about delivering a product he can stand behind. He has to hide behind his people and has built a culture of excuses.Now I've lived with the cabinets for about 1.5 years. The once beautiful finish is chipping everywhere. Even on the edges of drawers where there is no contact with the family. The drawers on m vanity in the hall bath barely close. The finish chips so easily on every piece that I have. The durability is really poor.Don't waste your time and money with Baker!

I have only great things to say about this company. We worked with Scott, who was very friendly and worked with us to create the customizations I wanted in my kitchen, unlike the big box stores that wanted me to use standardized cabinets. We paid half of what Home Depot wanted to charge. The finish is beautiful, cabinets and drawers are self closing, great features. I have a small galley kitchen, and with Scott's help, we were able to design a perfect kitchen for our house. Thanks Scott, great job! I love my kitchen!
