This place is a favorite of mine for raspados and diablitos! This time around they were out of some menu items, but we made it work. My go to is the medium coconut raspado. The tamarindo is also delicious. They also sell food (tortas) and snacks, as well as they have a cold case full of all types of canned sodas (including Manzanita Sol and Cactus Cooler), and bottled sodas! Also, plenty of indoor seating to enjoy your delicious snacks and drinks inside.

COVID-19 TIME:This place does not follow current safe practices to limit the spread of covid-19. The owners are walking around with no masks or PPE in and out of the kitchen. I've gone 2 times the past week in hopes that I was wrong the first time about their lack of covid-19 safety protocols. The first time I went the sole cashier/food prepper had her mask under her nose. The second time the 2 owners were just walking around with no masks while the sole food prepper had a mask on. They didn't help her or anything. I would avoid this place. The quality of the products have gone down too.

The torta and jugo natural (the vampiro) we're made fast. This is one of my favorite spots for jugos and tortas. The customer service was awesome and even though the person in the front was doing most orders by herself while being busy, she had a good attitude and made my food super quick. Will definitely be coming back

A go to spot if you want to avoid typical greasy fast food. They sell sandwiches and healthy drink options to get you through the day. My preference is the pierna or turkey.Raspados are great during the summer too, really refreshingPros- quality food- drinks are healthy and refreshing- spacious area- Great service with a smile- Wifi availableCons- expect slower service if it is busy or crowded like any other place.

I've been coming for years, unfortunately this will be my last time. I ordered 2 Cuvanas 1 Hawaiana 1 Pierna, of course when I get back to work we realize that she must have either gave us the complete wrong order or initially took the wrong order down. I called the owner to let her know their mistake and that at the least an apology should be made. She offered to make the Pierna torta and that we should stop by to pick it up. That was fine with me considering SHE handed me the wrong order, well when we sent my coworker back to pick up her original order the OWNER asked for the wrong torta back! She said if we wanted the Pierna torta we had to pay for it. My coworker called me and told me that the owner was demanding we pay for it so I called the owner, I let her know that I had just called and spoke to her about the wrong order and reminded her how SHE OFFERED to make the correct torta.. well right away she started to scream and did not let me get one word in. Whatever at this point my poor coworker just wanted her dam Pierna torta so I drove down to the restaurant and demanding to speak to the owner and she never came out to show her face for HER mistake. Go figure that she owns the "ANYTIME ALTERATIONS" next door, I went over and told her she should have at least apologized and that for her greedy ass attitude and that she lost customers over Seven dam dollars. As good as the tortas were, her customer service was horrible and I value customer service over everything. Do yourself the favor and don't provide this horrible business owner with any of your time or money.

It wasn't that long ago that this place was called Bachata. Never got to eat there, but last week I was in love with the raspado I was having for the first time. On my way down the road, I noticed they served raspados here too. I just had to try it. The menus are are almost identical, but will say they have more drink options here. The tortas are different as well. While California Raspados seems to base their's off of your typical taco meat(carnitas, asada, al pastor) , Baja's are a bit more adventurous. Care for a Cuban Torta, or Hawaiian? I suggest you brush up on your Spanish. The girl up front was definitely ESL. But she kindly suggested I try the Cuban Torta, which I was leaning towards anyways. Should have said no onion though. I'll have to be careful not the breath on anyone the rest of the day. I thought it was my imagination the meat tasted like bologna, but I see there is a sliced and grilled weenie in it. The raspado is nothing like what I had last week. This is more of a mango slushy. Maybe what I really wanted was a mango diablito?? Idk. I payed about $3 less than last week, and in return I got a smaller, less tastier, torta. Same thing with the raspado. The difference a few dollars make. I can't promise I'll be back, but I'll at least know better next time. As a side bonus, at least they have free WiFi here

i use to visit this place when it was owned by the ORIGINAL owner and it was Called BACHATAS. The flavor was there the restaurant was kept cleaned and the staff welcomed you with a smile , they even had books for you to purchase. now the walls are filthy the Tortas are bland and the staff have a look on their face like they're doing you a favor by cooking for you.

Today I tried to pick up tortas for my boyfriend and I and they were completely burnt. We tried to peel off the top layer of the burnt bread but it had been completely burnt to crisp. The employee on the phone knew they were burnt and we called on our way back to let her know we'd be coming back for a remake. We got there and she said it's be 10-15 minutes. We told her we couldn't wait. She said the register won't open to give a refund. Then the owner came out and she granted the refund. Anyways, sadly, will not be going back. Bummed she gave out food that isn't their normal quality and bummed she didn't remake the order when we called her to ask for the replacement. Also, they would not refund the sodas. So we left with 2 cans of soda and no food.

I would not recommend, they had rotten food in the fridge near the cashier that hold mold growing on it. Over charged prices, also they need to update their prices if they're going to charge us more. They charge for every little thing just to keep in mind.

I worked there for two weeks and the owner never ever called me back about what my new schedule was going to be. The way I was taught to make "raspados" and "fruit cocktail" is not your traditional way of making them. I feel like there was so much going on behind the kitchen especially the way everything was back there. The tortas I feel are way too overpriced for the amount of items inside but they're good. i will never work there again.
