Atwater Sushi

Good value for price, not the best but does the trick when you're craving sushi. The only thing i wasn't fan of was the lion king roll, definitely have had better. The baked mussels were really good. Yes the interior and ambience could use some updating and work but not gonna hold that against them. We will be doing take out vs dining in tho.

Food: not a fan. Service: same, if im getting it to go you want a tip?Ambiance: meh The problem I have with this place is it's never been consistent. Or they won't answer the phone. If we are in the mood for sushi we go out of town. Or I'll grab something from Save Mart to scratch the itch. But try them out for yourself. I've been wrong many of times.

It is honestly great I love the raw fish in the bonsai rolls but the calamari isn't very great but besides that it is soooooo good. The servers are kind and they try their best to give you a good service. It is mostly quiet and calm for somewhere in Atwater. so overall a 5 stars.

Just moved to Atwater so my husband and I were looking for a sushi spot to try. We heard lots of good things about Atwater sushi so we decided to try it out - clean and nice and cool and they have and outdoor dining area cute and good for a cool summer night , our server was super attentive and very nice . The food was delicious and fun to try . Ordered both the sushi rolls and bento boxes ! The salmon teriyaki was perfect and the chicken Katsu was nice and crispy- everything was flavorful and we definitely will return for our next date night. Also , they had tons of traffic for take out , so that's a plus for our next take out night !

Atwater Sushi's speciality rolls never fail us. The TNT Roll and the Bonsai Roll have been my go-to. They make it really easy to call in my order and pick up when ready. If I'm ever craving sushi, Atwater Sushi is definitely my favorite spot! Thank you!

Very friendly staff there, Make you feel welcomed and valued,Called in a couple orders on my lunch break yesterday and were so upbeat over the phone like they always are when I order from them, They had my order ready pretty quickly and gave me a courtesy call to let me know it was done,Quality of the food is awesome,I had the California Roll and the spicy Tuna with some Miso soup,The worker there asked me if I needed utensils and anything else and wished me a happy holiday season and thought that was spectacular service

my boyfriend got a chicken teriyaki bowl and it was so salty the white rice was black with sauce...I asked for spicy mayo and then when I asked again before leaving with my order to make sure it was there they said it was and I had no sauce

Food is always delicious! Fresh and good flavor. I almost always do take out. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because calling in is frequently difficult. Sometimes the line won't even ring and will just go to voicemail. Other times it rings and goes to voicemail.

Here are the basics. I like the food here, but consistency is the name of the game. We try to go fairly regularly, but they never seem to have essential ingredients. Every time we go, there is a long list of what they don't have. When you try to go five months in a row and every time they are out of something essential(tempura, cream cheese, ect.) you get frustrated. The service is spotty at best, but used to be better. Not sure why the decline. The menus are also too complicated with too many items that are not even carried any more. I like clean, easy to read menus with no "land mines". A land mine menu is when things are crossed out or I can't get an item due to its essential ingredients are missing. In its prime, it was worth checking out, but the price doesn't equate to the experience. Not a high recommendation anymore.

‼THEY CLOSE FOR LUNCH 3-4pm ‼I ordered the Bonsai and Rainbow roll, so good! Good portion, I was a table for one that day but ate for two lol. I had to run a few errands in Atwater, cute small place for a sushi joint. Servers greeted me right at the door, not much ambience unfortunately, white/black table themed. Refillable Pepsi clear cups. No need for a bathroom key. I do like their menu, maybe need an updated version they had cross marks on them for the items they no longer serve, tacky lowkey. Next time I will ask for a condiment sauce bowl, they put the ginger/soy sauce on the sushi tray and I wasn't able to mix my wasabi/soy sauce in anything until I asked for extra ginger on the side.
