Asio Verde

I'm from the Bay Area and been to a lot of plant shops, but they don't compare to Asio Verde! My girlfriend and I came in on a Friday and Sofia (one of the owners/business partners) showed us around the store and the various plants that they have. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and gives us practical tips for plant care. Asio Verde also has a lot of unqiue plants that a lot of other stores do not have. Examples include variegated whale fin snake plant, variegated mini monstera, thai constellation monstera, albo monstera, silver sword pothos, and many more. Additionally, the prices they have in this store are lower than a lot of the bay area plant shops. They also have giveaways and bidding wars on their instagram live for various plants that they are growing! I've bid for a thai constellation ($75) and an albo ($100) which is a better price than you'd find on etsy or any other online store. If you are in Merced and a plant person, highly recommend you go to Asio Verde for beautiful plants at a great price.

The best plant store in the valley! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a wide selection of house plants, succulents, and exotic plants! They also feature local artist items which is a plus when visiting this cute place!

Sophia was knowledgeable and attentive. She answered all of my questions about plant care and offered helpful suggestions. The selection of plants was amazing! The store was clean and organized. There are choices for both beginner and advanced plant enthusiasts. The prices were fair. I will definitely be back again!

Merced is lucky to have this beautiful plant shop. I moved out here and was unsure on how to decorate our home- I was recommended to come here by my good friend and I got hook immediately. They have so many stunning rare plants that I've never seen before (I'm new to the plant game) and I was immediately hooked. Sofia and Andrew are so helpful with giving you the game plan for each plant you buy. If you don't have naturally green thumb (like me) they will put you on game and make sure your plant baby thrives! My favorite is bringing my Mom in there each month to spoil her with a new plant- absolutely looks forward to it all the time. The shop is for everyone, it's the best gift for any occasion.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We had heard good things and decided to drive out from Stockton just to see. I am so glad we did! It is setup so beautiful. Lots of exotic and rare finds. So helpful. Scored a cute new pop socket as well. We will be back!!!

The staff is always so generous. As someone who has cats and is a beginner, they've always helped me find non-toxic indoor plants and they've been so patient in educating me about the plants and how to care for them. The environment alone is relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. Couldn't be more happy about my purchases. Definitely recommend to those who are in town. You won't be left disappointed!

They have an amazing collection of healthy and happy plants. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable and they are always giving you all the deets on plant care. I've been to many plant shops, but this one stands out for their amazing customer service. You can tell they really care about their plants and their customers. Highly recommend them if you're in Merced, you wont be disappointed.
