Good food very filling for the decent sized portions recommend the #2. The service is good for walk in dining no reservations needed and very welcoming environment.

Pretty good Chinese food in Porterville. My favorite is the spicy noodle soup, it's delicious. Their soups and chow mein is super good! Sweet and sour pork is mediocre, has a funny taste. Virtually everything is fresh and good tasting! I highly recommend the restaurant.

I ordered using Door Dash and was happy to see they now have the option of ordering egg foo young. I also ordered chicken with fresh vegetables and chicken fried rice and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised in the order this time the chicken and fresh vegetables had lots of different vegetables and it was delicious my favorite way to eat. This is to put one of the egg foo yong on your plate and cover with the chicken and fresh vegetables, the fried rice was good did not quite as much flavor as I was hoping for, but I think it was also an improvement over the last time so all in all we were very happy with this order and hoping this is a beginning of better things here. I will definitely be ordering again if the food quality is as it was in this order.

I think it is tricky when you try a new restaurant. You have to order the right dish on your first try so you keep coming back again to try other items on the menu. While I have had some dishes here that did not meet the mark, I keep coming back here for those that have had an impact on me.Their lunch special of Sichuan Spicy Beef, is one of them. It is seasoned beef, snow peas, broccoli, onions, carrots, aromatic chilis, garlic and bean sauce. The menu says it is very spicy. For me it is not, but perfect balance of heat, spice and flavor. The lunch special comes with pork noodles (soft or crisp) and pork fried rice. No substitutions on the rice or noodles. This is a delicious dish. Very unique in taste. Portion is big so I get at least 2-3 meals out of it.I have also had their Kung Pao King. This dish comes with seasoned shrimp, chicken, beef, broccoli, celery, onions, bell pepper, peanuts in a delicious kung pao sauce. This is also a memorable choice. There is ample parking. The service is good. And they have been around for a long time.

I was not expecting an Asian restaurant to have Cajun food, but...I found this spot and saw they had a night special with different Cajun options. I got a pound of green mussels. I thought the mussels were going to be tiny, but these things were HUGE and full of flavor. The mussels were cleaned well and the sauce was spicy, tangy with a tinge of sweet. Will definitely order these again.I came a different day with my little ones for lunch and we got a variety of dishes. The teriyaki chicken was average, the Mongolian beef was tasty and the won ton soup was savory. The chow mein is overly greasy and bland.Visit number 3, I picked my daughter up some pho, but...it was far from traditional pho and was a big let down. Tip: don't order pho if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese soup. The staff is great, nice and attentive.Visit number 4 and I'm picking up Mongolian Beef again.

Tulare Co is still only open for take out but this business is thriving. I can see why. Great food at great prices. Friendly with smiling faces.

I've ordered the hot sour soup twice from this restaurant now & the second one has confirmed why I didn't return more than once. I've ordered other food from here too such as the chow mein and I can tell from just these two food items there is no flavor or lacking in flavor, sadly. Sorry but I pass on returning back and I don't recommend it either. Gave it two stars because the menu variety is awesome! My only advice for the owners of this restaurant is to please cook with more authenticity and flavor.

Asia Garden used to be the best place around. My family would visit from out of town and want to go there. Not anymore! The restaurant started to decline before Covid and never recovered.I have ordered from them several times in the last few years hoping things would improve. My last experience was bad. The chow mien was tough, vegetables way overcooked, fried rice dry with the shrimp soft and mealy, the cashews in the chicken were black and soft. The flavor of the dishes was no way near what Asian food should taste like. They could corner the market in porterville again if they hired a good traditional cook and the staff presented a professional dress code without jeans and tatty shirts
