I KNOW I've written a review on this particular Alberto's before, as I've been coming here for years and I've got a connection to this one... Anyway, it shares the same parking lot problem the Valero Station does, since they share the same adjoined building. That being numerous vagrants, panhandlers, wandering dogs, etc. but you can look past that, right?I think too much shit is talked on Alberto's/Arsenio's/Robertito's. Sure, it's better drunk- everything is. But for what these businesses are- 24 hour Mexican drive thrus- they blow everything else out of the water when you look at their competition. I mean, what- are you going to go to Taco Bell? X'DLike I said, I've gone to this location for years and am on a first name basis around here with the owner and the cook in the back. Oscar's the nicest guy- I've come in a little under the weather before and he runs to the back and gets me allergy medicine. Dude insisted on offering me coffee every morning (gratis) for a while too until I told him I'm not a coffee drinker. Once his card reader was down and he just gave me my meal. I even dated one of the girls that worked as a cashier here a while back and we're still cool (though she no longer works there) so EVERYONE employed here is a class act. With all that out of the way, you do need to know what to order and what to stay away from, here. Tacos here are pretty bland- you'd think they'd be the easiest shit to make, but whatever. Most of the time, I stop by in the morning and get a chorizo burrito- and I like to get the green and chunky salsas from the salsa bar. For lunch, the taco salad's really good as are the super nachos or asada fries if you've brought your appetite. Both of those last 2 are fucking amazing drunk cuisine. To be completely honest, the food's about the same as most other Alberto's around town. However this location is always clean, well-maintained, well-staffed, and I've never heard of any instances of anyone getting sick at this location, which some people claim they have at others. Maybe I just have a strong stomach, as personally I don't think I've ever gotten sick from food. Again, rating this place 4 stars isn't implying that it's on par with Al's Cafe or Castillo's or anything, just that for a fair comparison of what the business is (a 24 hour drive thru) this place executes exceedingly well when stacked up against the competition.

Hubby and I had our regular and it was not the same. The burrito was cold. The filling was Luke warm and the cheese wasn't melted. We always have poppas, chili verde and cheese. Today we got it early around 6:15 am. Maybe they were not prepared so early in the morning , who knows. Hoping this was a rare incident.

Okay I finally was able to try Albertos. If you have seen by some of my other POS I seem to have a preference for one particular Mexican restaurant. But I'm not going to mention it in this review. I just like what I like what can I say...I had to fish tacos at today's encounter with refried beans Mexican rice and Jamaica drink. The fish tacos were fried with a lot of batter and it seemed to withhold a lot of that oil. The sauce that they put on the tacos was really good. I also really enjoyed the refried beans. I still think my other spot number one for fish tacos however this place would come in a close second because it's open 24 hours a day!

Hole in a gas station is what this place is. Tucked on the left inside a Valero gas station. Would have never stopped here if I wasn't getting gas but glad I did. Fresno is the place for good Mexican food and this place has some good tacos. I usually stick to the basic carne asada since you usually can't go wrong. The meat was good not too salty or dry. The green sauce was average compared to other places I've eaten at. Overall good food and service was quick.PRO: Good Carne Asada taco, Quick service, Accept credit & debit cards and Applepay. Cool looking cash register station for a small restaurant. CON: Not in the best neighborhood, wash room could use some cleaning.

I gave this place a try today and needless to say I am not happy. I ordered asada fries and it was more like boiled potatoes because they were under cooked. I definitely will not be back and I am very disappointed. Definitely was not worth the pass up of Robertitos less than half a mile away. Ill try them next.

Totally UnAmerican mannerisms here, they treat customers badly. The order clerk refused to take a kind hearted elderly man's order, he was ignored by an ill mannered female order clerk; I saw it happened on 9-07-2017. Will never go here again, the food was greasy snd extremely salty. The tables and floors were unkept and dirty.

Go here if you'd like to be pepper sprayed for attempting to use the restroom. then laughed at when you confront the staff about it. Walking in you can almost smell the feces they are cooking. Just make sure that when you confront them to be prepared to have the cops called on you for trespassing! All in all, the pepper spray has more flavor than their trash food. You'd be better off getting corn pico from chipotle.

The girl was so rude we waited to be attended in the drive through we kept saying hello and no answer until finally they get to us and once we pulled up to pay we weren't attended for like 10 min. The window was open and the girl was in the phone talking I assumed that why she took long to attend us to order. We were still waiting and she was still on the phone until finally she says okay I'm gonna have to hang up bye. Annnnnd we still waited for our food. She had the worst attitude and would roll her eyes when she would talk to us. She didn't give us any salsa so we asked and she rolled her eyes and she went to check the freezer for some and only gave us red because they didn't have green. I've had experience with restaurants and the salsa should be fresh she shouldn't be checking the freezer for some. Once we started eating the meat was undercooked and bland. Some parts were also cold. Do not recommend coming here
