Arsenio’s Mexican Food

Their 15$ asada wet burrito. Customer service was good though. There's nothing else to say so I'll stop the review here, only typing this to meet Yelp's character limit.

My daughter and I were in the mood for tacos.But we ended getting a quesadilla and rolled tacos because they had a much better deal on them than each individual tacos. There was no one in the restaurant but one family who just finished their meal, so we had to ring the bell for service. It took a few minutes before someone came. The lady was kind of rude but I think because she was handling the drive thru too. She was very short with us and didn't greet us or say anything. She was literally there to take food orders and not make any friends...lol. Food took a while to come out, so we just hung out and enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa bar. Once we got our food, the lady started mopping, the smell was so strong that we felt sick. We ended up taking the rest of our food home but ended up tossing it. The cleaning smell was still stuck in our nose and mouth. Definitely won't return!

This was my 2nd time in a week coming to this Arsenios located in the Walmart shopping center in Clovis, CA. I'm not 100% sure, but I think new owners took over for this franchise. The recipe is different from my previous experience from the first review I did. So here is the updated breakdown for tonight's Meh dinner. 1/5 Rolled beef tacos with cheese & guacamole The tortilla they use didn't taste that great, and you barely taste any seasoning from the beef. If you were going to order this, I would skip it, and it will save you $6.00 because it's no where good compared to Mexican fast foods in the OC. 3/5 Fish Taco 2 big crispy fish filets, but it needs tarter sauce to make it tangy. The sauce they used was kind of bland, and the tortillas they use don't taste that good either. 3/5 Chicken Burrito with a drink combo The chicken burrito itself was small compared to last week. It tasted okay, and it came with a small drink with free refills on fountain beverages when dining in. I don't know for almost $26.00 I can eat somewhere else cheaper and be more satisfied and full, but not here. This was my favorite Arsenios, but I think the change in ownership left me less desirable to come back again. Arsenios I wish nothing but the best. I hope you can be busier, improve on your recipes.

The other night, we were looking for tacos. We usually hit up the truck that parks down the street, but it was gone. What to do? My wife is ok with whatever, but the kids want Mexican still. We find Arsenio's, and I'm like, sure whatever. The kids immediately zero in on the nachos. Wife doesn't want much, just a quesadilla. I think I got the mulita, just because I trip out at seeing them locally after my trip to Mexico some years ago where I first discovered them. Before that trip, they weren't a thing. We take it to go, but while waiting, I see the birria ramen. It sounds as ridiculous as it does intriguing! I don't have immediate plans to try it, but should the opportunity arise, I just might do it. Well low and behold, just 3 days later, we are back. This time it's because the kids want asada fries. On this side of town, there aren't a whole lot of options, and we were just at O'Reilly's getting a new battery for the car, so here we are again. The kids of course get their asada fries and tacos for good measure. I, of course, get the birria Ramen with corn tortillas. Why they come with tortillas is beyond me, but whatev's. Food arrives and the ramen is super hot! Like, 15-20 min later, it's still hot. It's very salty, so just be warned. But if you want to try it, I recommend splitting it with someone else. I couldn't finish it on my own. It is good, but it is possible to have too much of a good thing. If you are the adventurous type, you should definitely give it a try. The food overall, is really pricy. Eating for one, it's fine. But for 6 of us, we spent close to $80. We ate at Olive Garden today, and spent $88 before tip, just to give you a comparison. Eating out is getting ridiculous!

The food was good but I ended up paying $72.02 for an order of combo #24, the carne asada burrito with a drink. I used Apple Pay so two receipts were given to me. I saw the register receipt which was correct and stuck the credit card receipt, with no item breakdown, my pocket. I did not expect the totals to be different so I threw the original receipt way. So his Arsenio's got over a $55 tip from me.Now I know to always review both receipts before I leave.

It's a reliable place for Mexican food. They have locations all over Fresno. I usually get a burrito or torta with carne asada. It's pretty satisfying. I've never had a bad experience and they prepare your order very quickly. I like that they offer a salsa bar where you can help yourself to their variety of salsas and condiments. The dining area is a typical fast food setting with their tables and booths. It's a solid place.

Just what I wanted! Visiting the Fresno area, I was given Arsenio's as a local recommendation and glad I took it! Super friendly service, big and fun menu...plus a chips and salsa bar to dive into all the delicious salsas and sauces. 10/10 would return!

Went for breakfast burritos. Super and Chorizo. $13 for both. They were huge!! And very tasty!! I would highly recommend them to anyone one.

First time at this location, for us it was very good! The asada taco meat was much better than the other location on Herndon. Everything was fresh. Only complaint was the beans tasted like they were from a can. But besides that, very good and also good service.

That's it! I'm giving up on this location. I've ordered their Supreme Breakfast Burrito three time now and not one of them was worth eating. They had no taste what ever. I won't give them another try. They used to be great but since they replaced the cook things have gone down hill. Not only does their Supreme Breakfast Burrito have no flavor, it has far too much potato in it... I guess that's because potatoes are cheap. Don't waste your money going to this location. If you want to find out what a Good Supreme Breakfast burrito should taste like, then go to the Arsenio's at Blackstone and Herndon. They know how to make one that has great flavor and is not filled with potato.
