Aroma Tavern

Loved this place!!! Aroma Tavern offered elevated comfort foods with all the Shaver Lake charm! The restaurant feels like a log cabin inside. The menu offers many beers on draft along with craft cocktails. The pork belly mac and cheese was soooo good. The pork belly is slow roasted but also so crispy, yum! Service was friendly and inviting, and they also have their own large parking lot which is convenient! We will be back on our next trip up the mountain!

Delightful! Great service. Fun and friendly staff and the Restaurant is a fantastic addition to Shaver Lake. Food was delicious and high quality. Lovely vibes and chill atmosphere.

Went on a Friday evening at 7pm. Place was full with only 2 servers working. Manager just sat there telling them what to do but did not actually help the struggling staff. Menu was small and the items mentioned in the online menu they were not offering anymore.We just left and will not go back!Waste of time!Manager was there working but other lady did nothing.

This casual restaurant and bar with outdoor seating was perfect for a quick bite on our way home from Shaver Lake. The indoor seating is quite spacious and clean with a separate room for the full bar. We chose the outdoor patio seating. Service was very friendly. For an appetizer we ordered the fried zucchini which was served with 5 hearty spears and a side of ranch. It was very tasty and satisfying. My friend ordered the smashbirger which came with delicious beef battered fries. I had the mac and cheese. It was pretty good but it was definitely not mac and cheese. We were camping at Shaver lake and were looking for a place for dinner. Found Aroma Tavern on the drive in so thought we'd give it a try. The service was awesome and the food was decent. We had the Aroma smash burger with the arugula strawberry. My son had the philly cheese sandwich. The fries were crispy. We took off 1 star as the food took a while to come out. The salad could have used either dried cranberries or dried dates to add a little more flavor. Overall, my family and friends enjoyed our experience here.

We stopped by on a whim after several days in the High Sierra. I read the Yelp reviews in the parking lot and came to the conclusion that while it may have been a rough opening weekend, it was worth a visit. So glad we came in. Here are some reasons they got a 5 star from us:* warm welcome from the host * nice patio and cozy mountain indoor vibe * our server Julie was excellent * I got the steak fajita, which did not disappoint, and I was happy with the beer selection. * Good kids menu options... 5 star chicken tender review from a 6 year old. * Ice cream!A solid option. I recommend stopping in.

My wife's family has had a cabin in Dinkey Creek since 1932. We usually do all the cooking but on a maintenance week trying to get the house up and running sometimes you need a break. Aroma provided just that. We all enjoyed our dinner. Serenity our server was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Hunter the GM came out to greet us and say hi. We sat outside but the inside had a great cabin feel. Perfect for the mountains. We had an Arugula salad that could have fed 2. A rib eye that was bigger than advertised and cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed some butter chicken which was a nice break from the traditional American fare in the area. Would love Coke over Pepsi for the drinks but that is another story. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Nice to have another option in town.

5 Stars - A Hidden Gem! Must try new restaurant in Shaver Lake!!Tried Aroma Tavern for the first time this weekend, and I was genuinely impressed! The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the salmon, which came with a delicious corn polenta that was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the chicken nachos, and they were incredible--full of flavor and generous portions. My son had the burger, and it was AMAZING! Easily one of the best we've had in a long time.The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant itself was spotless and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's a great spot for a casual but high-quality meal. Definitely recommend checking it out! We live up here part time, and WILL be back often.

Idk where to start the random guy singing covers in the corner or the fact that it took like over 45mins to order & get even a water & soda. Then when i got helped I asked for the Smash burger i ordered it w avocado (they forgot the avocado btw) Not to mention my burger was medium rare i guess? Disgusted me tbh but My man got the chicken tenders to play it safe but said they were so dry & salty we didnt finish any of our food I guess the fact that theres only like 300 locals & theres not many other places to eat either thats why people choose here. I would give it 0 stars if i could
