Currently my top spot for Mediterranean food in the area!I always get the (#2) chicken plate (5/5), which seems to be a favorite based on what other people are saying. Prices are a little steep at $18 a plate, but the food is really good and portions are a decent size. Wait time is around 10 minutes when it's not busy. There's also lots of seating to choose from. Ambiance is causal.

I stopped by for a bite on a weekday and had high hopes after seeing the reviews. I ordered a couple things: fries, fattoush salad, and a gyro wrap. The best thing about this meal was the gyro meat. It was tender and deliciously seasoned. Unfortunately, everything after that was either too mild or bland for my liking. Service was top notch as the worker was kind in answering all my questions. Ambiance was standard for a fast casual eatery.

Solid food but in my opinion way over priced. The service was pretty good but lagged a bit. One thing that I saw which was somewhat humorous but also concerning was a guy with his gal about to take a bite. I could hear him saying this was his first time trying Mediterranean. Well let's just say when he took his first bite it looked like he was about to umm let's say regurgitate his food. I guess Mediterranean isn't for everyone. I really enjoy it though and must say this food at Ark was pretty average, although the steak was stellar!

I love The Ark soooo much! This is such a wonderful restaurant for the feel of having really consistent, delicious Armenian/Mediterranean Food, without having to be seated, have wait staff...its just the best of all worlds. You go on in and order at the counter, and seriously, it's all good! We stopped here for a light meal, and were so satisfied! Salad, 2 kinds of pilaf, baba ganoush and pita bread, grape leaves, a kid's chicken bowl...so happy! Also highly recommended here is the hummus, tabouli, grilled vegetables, and pretty much everything on the menu! Our family has virtually tried it all.The half booth table is always my favorite spot, and it is very comfortable. The food is consistent. The flavors, portions, like clockwork, its so precise! We have had this location cater take out for multiple parties for us and have never been disappointed!I just wanted to rave about this place to everyone, because it makes us all so happy! Kids of all ages, adults, whether you love meat, or you're vegetarian...they've got you covered! The textures are what get me everytime. Just absolutely satisfying, and fresh! And...it is always super clean! Crazy we need to call that out as a plus these days, but it is evident that this restaurant goes the extra mile with cleanliness! Thank you thank you! Can't wait to go on back again soon!

This is my go to spot for amazing Mediterranean food. I always get the chicken kebab plate with pilaf and it's always prepared well and hits the spot. Highly recommended plus your order is prepared quickly and tastes fresh.

Salmon plate to go was well worth the drive and the try. Absolutely delicious. My only issue is I want to eat the whole thing at once. Haha! Prices definitely went up, as to be expected, the salmon plate is now $21.99. I need to try other rice options too, because their bulgur is not my favorite, it's good! Just not as "fluffy" as I have had it. Oh and the pita bread this time was sooooo thin! I'm sure it's purchased so I couldn't get too upset, but it was a bit disappointing. Other than that my meal was delicious and 2 days!

All right hands-down I think I found my favorite Mediterranean spot and the entire Central Valley! After running some grocery errands, I was starving and thankfully came by Ark! The location of the spot is in the shopping center but with tons of parking and once I got inside, there was a very welcoming woman who helped me place my order and offered a variety of suggestions. The overall ambiance was great. I decided to get two combos, which was chicken and beef, and then the other being beef and pork. We sat down for dinner. My mouth dropped. Everything from the cucumbers and tomatoes, pita bread, rice, and sauce, or absolutely to die for!! I have never tasted such good sauce. It can be paired with everything. If you're in the area, it's totally worth trying!

I'm kind of shocked that after waiting ten minutes to place an order with no line and an empty restaurant ... I tried to order the shawarma plate subbing the rice with salad. The young lady told me that "we aren't allowed to do that". Huh? She went on to say that they aren't allowed to put meat on the salad ... but you serve salads with the option of adding protein? Hmm okay. I told her that there's another Yelper who encountered the same problem. But she insist so I walked out. I was literally going to pay more but wasn't allowed?!? Strange. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the food since the woman refused to accommodate a simple ask. She could've packed the meat separately ... ah well!Update: I posted on the wrong location. Sorry. I meant to post on the Clovis location. But, yikes, the Fresno owner seems to be rude, accusatory and extremely defensive. Rather asking me to call to understand what went wrong ... she throws out accusations on Yelp. No customer service skills whatsoever. Every review can be edited (I just moved my review). Sheez. I don't know if the Fresno and Clovis are affiliated. But I think there's a reason why the Clovis location empty.
