Wow, such a gem of a B&B. Quiet and peaceful place. Ultra clean and comfortable. Beautiful views with the peaceful sounds of nature. Candy was very friendly and ultra helpful in suggesting great local places to eat and visit. Will be my "Go To" place to stay when up there. Had the best time ever, highly recommended!

Have a reservation for Labor Day weekend and tried to cancel because I got Covid and the lady Candy (I believe) at the front desk refused to give our money back for a reservation in that isn't for another 13 days... Also was very rude on the phone.

This lady candy called my phone after trying to charge my card. Told me she needed a new one - I advised I wasn't coming because I had fallen ill and it was not safe for me to travel let alone put others at risk. She demanded I pay even though I wasn't coming. Left me a nasty to burn in hell because I chose to hang up instead of listening to some stranger borage me. Then I receive an email being called a grinch, told I hope I receive coal.. like are you a toddler or a business owner? The lady screams at me about her mom dying like it's my fault? Get a drip or stop doing business, the world is evolving and when someone chooses safety and health over your stupid profits get a life and don't threaten/harass your would be customers.

This was by far the most odd and uncomfortable experience I've had at an Inn/hotel/motel. Below is a list of strange interactions we had with the B&B owner, Candy:- It took multiple calls/emails to confirm we would be checked in and not locked out when we arrived at 2 am- We were locked out at 2 am- A family mistakenly thought our room was theirs, and therefore was asleep in our room- Candy woke up the family by calling them out for their mistake as well as calling them stupid- There was a scorpion in the first room- At 8 in the morning we woke up to Candy yelling through the door, stating we have to get up to switch rooms- At breakfast Candy greeted us by complaining about her guests. She called them several explicits while they were right outside. She was on a rampage, calling them stupid and literally yelling.- I had to stop her 3 times, telling her that I am not interested in hearing about this. - She talked non-stop about her past career, and followed us outside to entertain us while we ate. *I am aware that many guests might love this part of going to a B&B, but read a room Candy.-I eventually had to interrupt her to ask for privacy, which seemed to surprise her, as she had to confirm we didn't want her to sit with us - She didn't give us the WiFi password, and didn't answer the phone when we called to inquire. We were able to figure it out, so didn't make a thing about it.- Despite having prepaid, Candy followed us to our car asking about payment in a fairly panicked manner. - While leaving, I overheard her talking to a new guest about a 1 Star review she received and continued to place blame on their former guestCandy lacks many hospitality skills including self-awareness, emotional regulation, over sharing, and tact.Would not recommend.

My wife, plus our friends of 30 years, we're excited to stay in our first B&B. Looking at the web sight, you are to believe you receive a hot breakfast with an assortment of apple treats fresh from the oven and apple pancakes!! The only breakfast you'll get there is worse than the average super 8. No bread of any type. Instead, Some tired bananas, cereal without milk ( more later) no fresh coffee, no host. you'll find out that the house is left basically to fend for itself. There is no one around. All the doors are left unlocked. Strange oriental voices from locked upstairs rooms. Also, the Jacuzzi obviously haven't been used for years. Note..all these bonuses are listed on her current website.. We had a partial roll of toilet paper..we asked for two days for toilet paper. Oddly, she lied and told us she had brought an additional roll upstairs. She definitely hadn't delivered it at all. I swear the whole place is out of Twilight zone. No one ever there. Strange voices. And finally lying about toilet paper. We finally left, and asked for the last night to be refunded. Especially since we had left before checkout. One day early. I called her and she asked what she could do. We asked for a single day refund. Not all three. She refused. Warning, something is wrong here! Stay away!

We had an unbelievably abusive stay at this so-called B&B last summer. My sister-in-law submitted a detailed and accurate review of our stay. Her honest account was inexplicably filtered into Yelp's "not recommended reviews". Her review ("Diana B) is still posted in the filtered reviews and is well worth the read. The Innkeeper of this B&B ("Candy") defies Yelp rules and solicits good reviews by holding an ongoing "review contest". She hands out cards promising rewards for good reviews and reminds guests of this verbally. We have posted a photo of her offer in the pics. This would account for her numerous 5 star reviews. What contest would reward an honest 3,2 or 1 star review? Her contest card speaks volumes.Breakfasts were sporadic. Candy only bothered to cook on mornings of full occupancy. She's running a B&B. Time to actually include a daily fresh breakfast. We were paying for it.Her cookies are store bought from Vons. We watched her cut their package open. Our morning coffee was simply reheated in the microwave. Candy complained throughout our 6 night stay that she hadn't "had a day off in four months!" I stayed behind one day to complete work online. Candy was just hanging out at her own house most of that day---popping in once in a while to just toss linens into the dryer. This is a one woman show. There is no housekeeper and our two rooms and bathroom were on the dingy side of clean. She lectured our girls to reuse their same one towel each throughout our one week stay. She did so sternly and loudly so as to give the adults the same message. We should have taken the hint when Candy launched into detailed complaint filled stories about her previous guests. I stood right behind Diana as we checked out on our final morning. I hereby corroborate every word Diana wrote. Candy informed us that we had enjoyed "an amazing stay!" She then challenged us to "tell me even one thing that wasn't amazing!" As my sister-in-law softly recanted numerous aspects that fell short Candy screamed at her saying (and I kid you not) "You're a F-in B!" She screamed the full words not just cutesy abbreviations. I actually worried Candy would stab us as we left. Candy refused to give us any -------Wow. I just read Candy's deceitful response to our reviews. Oh yes, having both worked for years in hotels and restaurants we were very kind to her throughout our stay. She never ran a credit card of mine at all. My sister-in-law (who wrote the other very honest review on here) paid for the entirety of our stay. Neither of our cards were ever denied. We did though, discuss between ourselves how Candy could improve her B&B. Rather than soliciting fake reviews via the review "contest" she promotes on the card we've photoed and uploaded here and rather than generate fake five star reviews for her we believed it better to be honest with her. In a kind tone we suggested she hire someone to help her clean the units, cook and help her do the many jobs needed in running an inn. Even just someone part-time.She exploded. Started screaming at us both an called my sister-in-law an "fuc-ing bi--ch" right in front of our daughter's.We have posted multiple photos that substantiate every word here. Including our credit card receipt. Sadly, this woman who disparaged her other clients and boasted of a plan to cut her own sister out of their mother's will...stoops to no level of lies to paint the picture she wants. Our photos speak volumes. Finally, within the not recommended reviews of this property please note the one from "Mary" who was apparently accosted by this odd woman in town.

I found Apple Blossom Inn while searching for a place near Yosemite that took dogs. The house was cozy, clean and in order. Candy met us on our arrival, offered us juice, water and a nice variety of snacks. She showed us around the place and then left us to enjoy our afternoon. We walked around the grounds and then went through the tourist book she gave us for the area. We had dinner out and came back to a large choice of games and videos. And the house was toasty as Candy had made a fire in the wood stove that would last throughout the night.Breakfast was amazing. Candy has perfected her breakfast!!! She made delicious pancakes and homemade stewed apples. They were perfect with the pancakes!!! OMG The second breakfast of French Toast was equally as yummy!Candy thinks of everything and balances her involvement accordingly. She was around when we needed her but gave us plenty of room to have our own privacy and was always just a call and walk away.Great place to stay! Thanks Candy! We enjoyed meeting you and staying at your comfy, cozy B&B!!

I found Apple Blossom Inn B&B thru bedandbreakfasts.com and was surprised to find that Yelp had no reviews of it whatsoever!I researched thru TripAdvisor and the B&B reviews, and found the reviews to be quite great. Considering the price and the location, I thought I might just give it a try.I booked our room: The Apple Blossom Room thru their online reservation system. Got the confirmation email and everything. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 1 year together as a couple and decided to do Yosemite-San Francisco. Apple Blossom was where we decided to stay at for the Yosemite part of the trip.We did not go wrong. We were greeted by a sign on the door saying to come in if you have a reservation. They were fully booked that day, so I was glad we made reservations. We met the owner Candy, and she was the nicest, most helpful innkeeper I've ever met. She had recommendations for dinner, stuff to do, etc.She had snacks served (apple suckers, cookies, fruit, coffee, etc) all throughout the day, in the main kitchen. But the winner was breakfast which she served indoors and outdoors. The room was great! We had our own little balcony overlooking the Sierra Mountains. But I think what we loved most about this B&B was the jacuzzi right underneath the stars. After a long drive, the hot tub was soooo relaxing. It is about 14 miles to the South Entrance of Yosemite, and about a 20 minute drive to Bass Lake, which is also a must see.I will definitely stay here again. I am surprised I'm the first to review it on Yelp.

Candy was a wonderful hostess and her Inn is tucked away just above Oakhurst. The common area downstairs is well stocked with snacks and VHS videos. Located about an hour from the South Gate of Yosemite, a jacuzzi on the back deck, and plenty of privacy for a quiet getaway. Candy prepares a very nice hot breakfast with fresh fruit and plenty of coffee and juice. I look forward to coming back

I reserved a room for May 26, 2022 to May 29, 2022. I canceled today one month before due to family medical emergency and I was still charged $30 for cancellation fee, even though in the cancellation policy it says "f the booking is canceled before 7:00 PM, 14 day(s) before check-in the charge is $30.00, less than 14 day(s) before check-in the charge is 100% of total." Why have this and then turn around and still charge me for $30 when I canceled one month in advance. Will never reserve a room here. This is bullshit!!
