Just stopped by and didn't have anybody come and help us or even greet us for 20min. We went to look to see if someone was in the office and the guy was passed out asleep on the desk. So unprofessional. Won't be ordering from here if they don't even have the professionalism to greet someone, let alone sleep on the job!

if i could give 0 stars i would....we came on recommendation by a professional cabinetmaker who was remodeling our kitchen who i trust very much who said this person (Gustuvo L.) does a good job...He's a contractor working for APEX granite outlet.let me start out by saying i'm busy as hell..so my parents decided to take off from work in order to make it to the closest appointment that was scheduled...the day comes...i get home around 8pm and i ask them how the granite guy was...and they were infuriated because they called off and the guy didn't come after making an appointment directly with me, and top it off they called him at ~1pm and to make sure he was coming (appointment was scheduled at 11am) he then proceeded to tell them that he is coming...they waited and waited and eventually i came and he never showed.Next Day comes he calls and said sorry, I said it's ok... and he came over at ~1pm my father came over like he usually does to check up on me and hang out and confronted the man when he realized it was the guy who pretty much stood them up the day before and said "hey, what happened yesterday? We waited all day and we even called you when you didn't make it on time to the appointment instead of you notifying us ... and you still didn't come" the man then just got frustrated and said "you're making things complicated" and spoke to his partner and just packed up his things and left...might i add my father is SEVENTY years old...70! and he got upset to the extent to quit the job over simple words like that? to be honest i don't even blame my father..the man was completely and utterly unprofessional for doing that should apologize to my father directly.and yes my father still works :) he tried to retire before but he said the boredom would kill him. This is an **INCREDIBLY unprofessional** place...i don't suggest going/doing business here AT-ALL..unless you like a fussy man who can't keep appointments (Gustuvo Luna)...their location has changed to 5816 S. Boyle Ave Vernon, CA 90058....avoid at all cost....you've been warned! i don't make many posts on yelp to review normally ...but this needs to be seen by any/everyone so they don't waste their time with this company and specifically that contractor.oh and By the way...if you're thinking about counter-tops like i was...they miraculously had a flat labor fee for the job in our kitchen before they even measured (i believe it was $1500) some how he was able to know how much labor was going to be put into the counter-tops before he even measure anything. For a place that is considered cheap it would cost ~3-4k once everything came together and the SQ ft is measured and added in for the granite top... (i'm currently searching in better areas that are considered high end and I've been quoted 4.5k max on a kitchen my size after it's been measured {i'm talking santa monica/beverly hills companies}...i rather shell out an extra 500 for better service and more than likely better craftsmanship).

Great find here in town. Was recently doing a kitchen overhaul and was on a tight budget. Apex had just what I was looking for and great prices. After pricing things around town this seemed to be the best bang for my buck!!! The staff was great and Steve was a huge help. The younger gentlemen working there also did a great job and seemed to be very knowledgeable in helping me get exactly what I needed and even offered some suggestions on product that would Look great in my new kitchen! Great job guys! I will be telling my friends and family to pay Apex a visit for any of there needs.

My sister purchased her counter tops and the girl that helped her was very nice. She looked and decided on a top. She specifically made sure to tell the sales person she wanted the one with No Glass, the sales person wrote it up as the one with glass, only one number appears on top of sample top. She paid for it, the installer picks it up, literally pulls up gives her name, shows reciept and they load it. He installs it, she wiped it down after he told her she could and the island piece has the glass in it. She goes to store with my niece, they tell her there is nothing they can do and the manager won't be in until tomorrow. She goes back the next day with her Son, DNLaw and a niece, they had every story you can imagine. It's the installers fault we showed him all of it in the showroom when he picked up, that's not it it works and that is not what happened. One man said he was the one who loaded and installer told him "yep everything great", at that point another man came up and said he loaded him and went on with another lie. Manager now will not be in for 2 months! She is a widow, she used the last of her money to get her kitchen redone, she is on a very tight budget, she chose the top she could afford not the real one she wanted, but to get 2 different colors!!!!!!! My nephew says he will take them to small claims if they will not make it right, we were going to get our kitchen done through them as well, that is never going to happen and we will share with everyone how she was treated!

These guys deserved a good review for the patience and time to help me look for what i needed to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. The guys who had helped me literally were able to find the sizes i needed as well as recommended me a contractor named Juan who did the job. The prices there are more than great and they even worked with the pricing for the color i really had my eye on the whole time so i was able to save some money so thanks APEX for the great customer service and pretty much everything and i definitely will be recommending people who are remodeling to go check them out they are really helpful and the prices really are great!

We recently purchased a foreclosure and decided to do a complete rip and replace of the kitchen. We didn't have a huge budget, but knew we wanted a modern looking kitchen with granite counter tops, a new breakfast bar, and a stainless steel under mount sink. We started off looking at Lowes and Home Depot. Everything we looked at there was easily above 10k and we would have gotten particle board cabinets and laminate counter tops. After doing some research on the internet I ran across Apex. Their showroom looks more like a warehouse downtown, but we also knew this meant their overhead was probably lower also. We loved that they had several mock up kitchen setup in the showroom, and that they had all the granite slabs available for us to look at. Aaron helped us out. We gave him our kitchens dimensions and he came up with a cabinet plan. The whole process took no longer then an hour, and after he plugged all the granite, cabinets, and labor into our quote we were extremely pleased with the price which came out to 40% less then Lowes/HD. And to boot the cabinets were all solid maple ply with dovetailed joints. We ended up also driving up to the bay area to look at Ikea because I heard that they had nice cabinetry for fair prices, but they turned out to be way more expensive also. So the decision was a no brainer at that point and we ended up purchasing from Apex. The cabinets took about 4 weeks to arrive once ordered. Installation went great. We told Apex we weren't in any hurry because we hadn't moved into the house yet and were still doing other renovations. The cabinet install took about a week. The granite install happened after that and took 3 or 4 days. All in all everything went extremely smoothly and we absolutely love the results. A couple of my dad's retired contractor friends have even come over and have been blown away with what we got for the price. I'd recommend Apex to anyone looking to update their kitchen.
