Alla's Mediterranean Armenian Restaurant

Alla's Mediterranean is located in a small strip mall by a Chevron gas station. Based on the photos of the exterior and interior, do not judge this restaurant by its appearance. The food and service is phenomenal! We enjoyed our waitress who was very kind and welcoming. The Chicken Salad and Lula Kebab Salad were refreshing and produce was fresh. The pita and garlic hummus were very good! We hope to try the Lahmajoun - Armenian Pizza next time. They were unfortunately out of ingredients.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Honestly, I hesitated to write this review because I almost don't want the secret to get out. The food here is incredible--authentic and seasoned to perfection. Every dish is bursting with flavor, but it's never overly rich or intense, striking just the right balance. The quality, love and care that go into the preparation are evident in every bite. If you're looking for a spot that delivers amazing Mediterranean/Armenian cuisine, this is it. But shhh...let's keep it between us!

The Mediterranean food here is authentic and delicious! I've been craving Lamajoon and the cracker bread was crispy and the meat tasty and moist! It is like eating in someone's home with the decor and linen placemats! It has to be authentic when many of the diners are of Armenian ethnicity enjoying their meals and a couple of Armenian ladies picking up food to go! They have a small deli with fruit drinks that come from Armenia too. The fruit drink we chose was apricot and it had four slices of apricot in it!! We finished with rice pudding and home made baklava! All delicious! Our server was attentive and brought the food out quickly.

Another delicious meal at Alla's! Lulu Kebab Salad, Chef's Special. Great service as always! Quiet atmosphere to enjoy lunch with family!

Great authentic Armenian restaurant. Both food and service were excellent, and the murals on the walls create a nice ambiance.

This is my all-time favorite Armenian restaurant in the entire San Joaquin Valley. The adorable mom who is the chef in this little hole in the wall, reminds me of the traditional Armenian mother who spends hours making incredible delicious food. Her recipes are unique and unmatched. Every item here is insanely delicious. I can't even tell you what not to order because everything is exceptional. We love the moussaka, leghmajoon, the lentil, kufte, the soups, and the list goes on and on. I hate going out of my way for a restaurant, but this one is the exception. It is absolutely worth every penny. They have catered several of our family events and I've done an amazing job. Thank you and we hope you're around for a very long time!

Absolutely delicious! Alla's is the most authentic Armenian food I've had from a restaurant. Everything is fresh and tastes homemade. Definitely will be back!

We felt like having traditional Armenian food. The place is small and quaint with images and decor that represent Armenian culture. The menu covers the basics of Armenian cuisine. We tried the lule kebab combo (not on the menu but you can request it. In face the chef is very accommodating and also offers family style orders and catering but you need to inquire. The rice, veggies, soup, and vegetarian menu options were great including their hummus. Definitely traditional Armenian flavor. The meat was seasoned well but rather dry. You can request it to be cooked medium well but we were not asked. For the next time, we know we can ask about stuff or else you can stick to the menu items.

The best out of the best.... From price to service to cleanliness.... Highly recommended

19.06 for what is less than 1/4 pound of meat, a shovels worth of rice and a hand full of lettuce. THIS is unforgivable! Fresnans, we KNOW great Mediterranean food. House of Kebab, George's grill, Mediterranean all for a similar price will give you higher quality food and more of it.This portioning is an insult, the flavors are okay but nothing to rival the three locations I have already named.I wish I had went to Panda Express rather then venturing out.
