Love Keena!!!! She's the best! So professional and knowledgeable. My hair is healthier and has sooo much more dimension shop is beautiful! Love their big mirrors and the overall ambiance!!!

Manoug is a coloring genius. He gave me the most goregously subtle Ombré style today and I can't get over it. He's really friendly and wants you to enjoy "you time." So if you want to chat, he will -- but if you want to read or just have some quiet time he's fine with that as well. Lovely styling and cutting skills as well. I followed Manoug from another salon, and I actually really like the look/feel of Alchemy in general. The building's elevator is kind of slow and the parking lot gets crowded sometimes, but other than that the actual space itself is well put together and sleek. I can't wait to go back.

-Clean & beautiful atmosphere-Exceptionally attentive staff-Owner (Sylvia) went above & beyond to accommodate us-Loved Nikole - she is so talented!I booked two appointments with Nikole, the sweetest hairstylist ever! The first appointment was a trial run of my wedding day hair. She did a great job re-creating the hairstyle I brought with me. Then....I completely changed the hairstyle about 2 weeks before the wedding. Nikole was totally up for the challenge and said it would be no problem. She was right - my hair was fabulous and I felt confident and beautiful all day. She also did my matron of honor's hair and it turned out awesome. I would highly recommend Nikole if you're looking for a wedding hair stylist! She's extremely professional, patient and listens to her clients. And I can't forget about Sylvia, the owner! She let my best friend and I use a separate area to store our suitcases and makeup. She kept making sure we had everything we needed to get ready. Now that's great service! I loved my experience at Alchemy Salon and I will definitely go back when I am due for a haircut!

Ok, I seriously love Sylvia. She is not only the sweetest lady ever, but has major skills when it comes to hair.I got married in November and Sylvia did my a fantastic job on my hair! She was so thorough about everything, even in the trial runs. She made sure that it was exactly what I wanted and made it look perfect. The best part is, she let me and my wedding party take over the salon! We had six girls, a flower girl, MOB, and three photographers with us--Sylvia even hooked me up with a makeup artist! We had champagne, pastries, and tons of food so my morning could be stress free...well, as stress free as you can be right before you get married!Basically, I'm saying that you have to check Sylvia out! Look at my pictures so you can see how great my hair (and my girls hair) turned out and see the salon yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Let me just say that I've had bad experiences with bleach. Never would I have thought that my hair would be so soft and manageable after bleaching it a couple of times. I went from a dark brown to a blond, and I am inlove with the results. My hair feels so amazing that I don't even have to wash it everyday!I highly recommend Sylvia. She is so sweet and patient and soooo knowledgable. I'm so happy that I found a hairstylist that knows what they are doing with my hair!

Sylvia is a magician! She had me at hello and I am so thankful to have met her and her wonderful team. The ambiance at Alchemy Salon is perfection. I went from brunette, high fashion red, to strawberry blonde in three and a half hours! Seriously, the most flawless transition I could have ever hoped for. I change my mind and have so many crazy ideas... But Sylvia doesn't blink an eye and always delivers.Best Salon Ever, owned by the Most Generous, Sweet, Caring person! Thank you!!!

I found a colorist by the name of Sonia on Instagram and inquired about having hair color removed and she suggested that I go in for a consultation. I will admit that she did reply to messages very quickly and because of that I felt comfortable and went in for the consultation.I drove an hour to get there, and when I arrived she wasn't there. I didn't think much of it , considering it was just a consultation and not a paid visit. I figured maybe she didn't take consultations very seriously since it wasn't guaranteed money. She arrived about 10 minutes later than she had asked me to come in.She looked at my hair and said it would take 1 session to chelate my hair $160 (she spelled it wrong.. Should have been my first warning) and that it would take 7 sessions of $140 each after which would come out to $1,140 to remove one box color I had applied 16 months ago (was going from dark brown to dark blonde) Being gullible and knowing it would be tedious..never having been to a salon before.. I agreed because I didn't know any better.We walked out to the lobby where she looked at the computer screen with the receptionist and asked me what time I would like to come in on Saturday and had me choose between 9 or 11.. I chose 9am and she said she'd see me then. I was so excited and had already started telling my coworkers about how I found this new salon and some even said they would be willing to try it out.The salon confirmed my appointment the day before, I got there early at 8:50am because I wanted to make sure that I was on time and ready for my appointment at 9. The receptionist seen me and asked me if I was there for Sonia and I agreed and told me that she wasn't in yet. I started to get a little nervous and sat around till 9:18am when the receptionist said she would call Sonia and see what was going on..Apparently Sonia "thought my appointment was for 10am and not 9am". The receptionist asked if I'd like to wait 30 more minutes for her to arrive.. Which I obviously declined! So in total I wasted 5 hours on this salon for a service that never happened. It was extremely rude and unprofessional and I will be sure to tell all my friends and coworkers not to go there after all.Luckily I was able to get into another salon that had a cancellation who made me blonde in one sitting with no damage for $230.. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

I have also followed Manoug to this salon. I've been going to him for over a year now, and I still get compliments on my hair as it continues to grow. The first time I went to him, he cut my hair into a pixie. And so when I talk with other women about how difficult it was to get out of the awkward growing stages, I tell them I never had those problems. And it's so true! He thoughtfully planned out what to do with my hair as it grew out, and I was able to go for a month and a half, after each visit, still feeling confident with my 'do. I could probably go longer without seeing him, but I like getting my hair done. ;)I will follow him until the end of time! (Or until I move out of Fresno, but even then, I would probably consider scheduling an appointment with him if I came back to visit!)As for the salon, one word comes to mind. "Bling". Looking at the front desk left me that impression. It is super chic, and clean. The receptionists have always been friendly to me, and they actually go through with providing me with a drink after inquiring me. Alchemy salon is located on the third floor of The Palatine.

MANOUG! MANOUG! MANOUG!I cannot get enough of him!!!! He is like a hair god.... I am not even over exaggerating. I was recommended to him about two years ago and I am so glad I was. He will take such good care of you hair he listens to what you want and if he dyes your hair he does a great job not frying it like some other stylists do. IDK what he does to make my hair look so healthy and amazing until the next visit (which is every 6-8 weeks). As a salon over all they are very accommodating all around friendly staff they have a makeup artist onsite as well as a manicurist.

Great work with my hair. Get a price quote first. The price for me for the three times I've been there for the same treatment/color weaving/trim. First time $120, second time $80 and third time $180! I have long hair so expected to pay more. But three separate prices from the same beautician was not what I expected.
