Acuity Eye Group

I have been taking my bf for 4 years now. Dr. Gunn diagnosed him with RP (retinitis pigmentosa). We have now seen Dr. Chawla who is there now and he is really good. Very informative and speaks clearly to my bf who is deaf. The staff is AMAZING! I'm glad we found this place. I definitely recommend them!

I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Gunn. While he saw me in a timely manor and he ran the tests needed to determine retina damage, I was not impressed by him as a person. I was sent because I'd lost vision in one eye suddenly. His first statement to me was that he was the garbage collector and saw all the patients that the optometrist couldn't handle. So right off I felt like I was interrupting his day with my garbage problem. He told me I had put my contact on inside out and that was why I couldn't see. I tried several times to explain that didn't happen and that even with readers I was only seeing through my right eye. Left eye had been dx as 20/50 from previous 20/20. Staff were nice but I would not recommend this doctor.

I have had a very good experience the whole time I was being treated here. Everyone is knowledgeable about their job, and Dr. Chawla is so gentle with painful procedures. Everything was explained throughly. I also want to say that cleaning and all COVID-19 precautions were followed consistently, including distancing, mask and glove use and hand hygiene.
