Short version... you pay for a service and they don't finish the work. Long version....With my ailing father, we needed to take care of some real estate issues. They were to file a deed transfer. First time they dropped the ball so the recorder didn't accept. Second time they filed, they put the wrong name on the deed transfer?! Now they don't want to complete the services we paid for. It would "incur additional fees". Yes, on their part for their errors. Now they want a wheelchair bound senior citizen to get things done on his own. Again, after already paying for the services and the filing fee. Also, they don't return calls after you paid for services. They only call to collect fees. Stay away.

Very disappointed that I hired this law firm during the Covid crisis and they dropped the ball and didn't reply to emails or follow through with our agreement. Now I have to start all over and double pay for another attorney to start from scratch.

Robert was super friendly in my time of distress with an unpleasant lease with University Place. One of the worst places to live in by far. No proper initiative nor professionalism was proven during my period of estate. I was referred to Robert & during the first 30 minute consultation, I knew I was in great hands. As my lease was broken & the landlord insisted in not providing me with proper documentation of release. It took an hour consultation, work behind the scenes with Robert on developing proper paperwork and step by step approach to the legal matter. He simplified the case & fulfilled his promise of taking care of me in all terms legal. I am so glad I committed to Roberts expertise, no other attorney can really emphasize the professionalism, attention to detail, and proficiency in law better than he did. Thank you.

Abrams Law Group has been a trusted resource for our family for years. My daughter has relied on their excellent estate planning and Trust services for years. She was able to convince me to contract with them to secure our family's resources for future generations. I've worked so long to be able to pass on help to my children that I wanted a excellent team to prepare my Living Trust. After meeting with Chris Abrams I had my Trust done for our family's future security and blessing. The team at CR Abrams are both professional and courteous. I want to especially thank Chris, Rachel and Mabil whom I've worked with in getting my Trust done so there's no worries when the Lord calls me home. I highly recommend Abram's team save you money and get the best Trust service in the industry.

I had the unfortunate experience of hiring this guy when I was granted trustee of an estate. He was nice at first but then turned on me when he couldn't handle some of the questions I was asking him. He overbilled me on several occasions which the firm he was with later corrected. It was a nightmare experience. He didn't actually do anything for me nor did he really help us administer the trust when the parent died. He just talked alot on the phone and since I was a novice when dealing w/ lawyer (i know better years later) he really gave me a bad taste in my mouth. He was not knowledgeable about my issues. I did complain him at the firm, which is obvious that he no longer works there. He will fool you but then you will just talk and talk, with no action.

Warning...Do not waste your time with this firm. I mistakenly contacted Robert Abrams seeking litigation help for an elder person who had his million dollar home non judicially foreclosed on him over an disagreement with a homeowners association. Today the man is essentially homeless and is still out the amount of money the home was auctioned off for. As a neighbor of this older person, I wrote up a lengthy brief and then escorted him 40 miles for a meeting with what turned out to be$ a two year practicing attorney who wanted $200 dollars for a consultation and $50,000 to proceed with the case with no guarantees. Neither of which we ended up paying. This young attorney was rude to us all and would not even meet with myself and another neighbor who would act as a witness... As you can tell, we were all very annoyed for wasting out time.

Attorney Robert Abrams was hired based on his verbal representation that he was well versed in civil process to included forecloses and eviction. He told us he felt that he could bring closure to the case within 30 days.Attorney Robert Abrams mispresented himself and his knowledge of the civil process and the court process in general. Robert Abrams did not come to court prepared for even the simplest of hearings. He was scolded by the Judge in two different hearing which each only lasted minutes because of the fact Attorney Robert Abrams had not filed proper motions nor provided any disclosures to the Defendants. Attorney Robert Abrams then proceeded be unethical and gain personal benefit from a low ball offer to purchase the property and handle the ongoing legal proceedings on his own. Attorney Robert Abrams billed for services and documents that where never provided to me or the court. He inflated his bills and falsified and documented time spent on the case. The papers that were used during the only real court hearing were prepared and provided by Susan Tindell and also had to be explained to him prior to the hearing. He choose to yell and scream at Susan Tindell because he was clearly unprepared and frustrated with his own lack of preparation. Which was very obvious when hearing started and the Judge scolded him for not proving disclosure to the Defendants prior to the hearing date. Thus causing undue delay in the case. In addition to being unprepared for this hearing he had already been granted a continuance on this hearing prior to the court date for an unknown reason. A continuance that we absolutely objected to and demanded that no continuance ever be requested on our behalf. We hired him to move this case along not drag it out. Which seemed to be his intent when he argued for Bifurcation of the case, ultimately extending the case an additional 6 months and complicating the issues. Thus caused irreversible delays and additional cost to us.Attorney Robert Abrams also did not respond to several left phone messages and emails. When he finally would responded his responses where short and direct: examples, "I got it" "I am on it ". When the truth be told he had done nothing to prepare. He also choose to "QUIT our case" a few day before the next scheduled court hearing. Thus causing us to scramble to find and new attorney available at very short notice, bring him up to speed and make it to court that same afternoon. In summary Attorney Robert Abrams represented us for about 4 months, in the 4 months Attorney Robert Abrams was not able to closes the case in a timely manner as originally represent. He is unethical when seeking personal gain. He intentionally cause additional delay and cost by arguing bifurcation. He was unprepared for every hearing and late to appointments. He did not return phone calls or emails in a timely manner and also falsified his billable work. He misrepresented his knowledge of the civil process and the basic court procedures. He did not represent us in a professional manner nor do I feel he had any intention of bring our case to a successful end. He left us high and dry one day before our court date. Over my 26 years involvement in the Jefferson County courts, I have never seen a worse Attorney. I personally feel he should refund the monies already paid to him back to us for his misrepresentation of his knowledge and work ethic. I feel he has not fulfilled he legal obligations and he has also inflated or falsified billing practices. I feel the Defendants who were PRO SE at one point were better represented then us with Attorney Robert Abrams representing us. He also charged for services never rendered.
