I appreciate how the doctor treated my son. He's caring and tries to be friendly. I like the doctor as a person. I've been coming here for years. My biggest complaint is the LONG wait time for appointments. They are always running behind. This extends to the shot experience as well. It takes FOREVER to check in get a shot and check out sometimes. I'd love to have a different check in system that is easier for ALL patients. I will continue to choose to go here. The care is remarkably excellent! My health has never been better!Update: Office manager VERY responsive and pulled me aside to chat about my experience. I'm pleased with her receptive attitude!

The absolute worst!! I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. I came to see him with concerns about my food allergies worsening. He treated me like a nut case, basically saying I am a hypochondriac. So that alone was frustrating. He also spoke over me the entire visit, and tried having me change the description of my symptoms to something less severe. I'd say "when I eat this on accident my throat feels tight and it's hard to swallow", he would counter and say things like "no, you're experiencing discomfort NOT tightness. It is not difficult to swallow. You're wrong." I was so upset that this doctor wouldn't even let me describe my own symptoms!! If I eat avocados, my throat does tighten, I know this because it gets hard to breath! The final straw with him was when he very roughly interrogating me after I said I get sinus infections. He interrogated me for several minutes asking "how would I know if they're sinus infections? "Am I a doctor?""Have I ever had a surgery to look at these sinus infections?" Afterward he sent me for a sinus x-ray which cost about $50. I got a call a few days later from his staff letting me know I didn't have a sinus infection. I never said I did!! I said I have had them in the past. It seems apparent that he doesn't listen nor value the information he is collection for a diagnosis. It was all too much. He is a jerk and unprofessional. Luckily I have good insurance and can go to another specialist. Really don't wish this on anyone trying to figure out what is causing their allergic reactions. Save yourself the trouble and see a better doctor who will listen and work with you to find answers and treatments.

Been seeing Aminian for years Overall he helped me control these seasonal allergies and I appreciated his one on one care.Recently though I don't care for how he is doing exams anymore.I like my privacy but he's taken to bringing in a person who writes everything down for him on a machine and another person whom I believe is an intern .It just doesn't feel personal or private anymore especially when asked to take your shirt off in front of strangers. And the other thing I noticed is they have been going through slot of new front office help and some of these girls that he hires are not very good when it comes to being nice or pleasant.Actually one is very stiff and speaks in a mad tone of voice and very short acting. She doesn't treat people with respect or humanity just very dry attitude. They have been messing up also when it is time for new bottles and they don't tell you do that you can sign the necessary paperwork and you show up expecting to get your shots and there is nothing ready for you. Seriously thinking of finding someone else

Rude receptionist.. They tryed charging my mom 45 bucks for being 10 minuets late, even after my mom called and told them she was on the bus and the bus was in traffic and she was down the street. I took her to her next appointment because I had to work at my other Job and couldn't take her to her first one. When I walked in they asked me to leave because only one person is allowed and that my mom couldn't have anyone with her. I didn't want to argue with them and let them know I'm her care giver. So I just walked out. I'll be taking my mom some where else.

Dr. Aminian office only has a 2 1/2 star rating in my book! I will start with my positive comments first. Dr. Aminian had a nice bedside manner. He explained things pretty thoroughly. The staff was very nice! The actual office and patient room was tidy and clean. I do have concerns about some very specific things. 1) The section where the children play was very out dated and the children's toys were beyond filthy! The toys were mostly broken and dirty hand prints on all the toys. For an allergist Doctor's office it is upsetting to me that the office toys were very unclean and full of germs. It looked as though the toys haven't been cleaned, replaced or fixed for years.2) We waited over an hour for the doctor to see us! After that long way time Dr. Aminian gave No APOLOGY for being late! 3) The restroom needed attention as well. It saddens me that a Doctor who specializes in allergies in children had a -0 star rating for for the kids toy area!

My toddler son had a bloody nose while we were in his waiting room.He had been having bloody noses lately, so I used this opportunity to ask the Doctor what he thought the cause was.Dr. Aminian examined my son's nose, used a long Q-tip to "move something out of the way", and announced he saw no signs of a bloody nose. Very strange, because my son had dried blood caked on his nose and face. After we left the office, my son expelled what the Dr had moved out of the way: a giant blood clotI could recommend this place if you want to visit another planet.front desk staff is incompetent.I could go on...Yelp format won't allow me to rate less than 1 star.

Don't waste your time here with this doctor he's absolutely the worst. He wants to ask you personal questions that does not pertain to allergy. He wants to act like your thyroid specialist and dermatologist when I already explained I had one. He tells you stop everything the dermatologist prescribed. I only went to allergy institute to request for a testing done to see what I'm allergic too that's it nothing to do with anything else. The doctor said he wants to order lab work for my thyroid which does not make any sense. Whatever you do, don't waste your time or money going to his office for him to scratch your arms.

Honestly the nurses and the woman on the phone for appointments were so so nice. I absolutely loved them, they made everything so easy and accommodating for me. Dr. Aminian was anxiety inducing for me. I got really bad eczema, and I got some antibiotics from another doctor, then a day later I broke out in huge hives all over my body. I had never had this happen to me before, so obviously I thought I was having an allergic reaction to the medication, or maybe something that I had eaten. I was just confused and in pain. It seemed like Dr. Aminian wasn't listening to what I had to say, and gave me a cream to see if it was scabies and a follow up appointment where I was under the impression that I would get allergy tested for the antibiotics.I went to the follow up appointment and said it wasn't scabies and I asked if we were going to do the allergy testing we talked about. He then gave me attitude, and told me he never said we were going to do that. I then expressed my frustrations to him, to where he squeezed me in for some allergy tests the same day. I was super happy for a second. But when I got there, he gave me tests for environmental allergens. Stuff I knew I wasn't allergic to. The third appointment, where all I heard we were going to do was "further testing". I was again under the impression again that we were going to test for the antibiotics. Not the case. He did the same environmental allergens, just shots this time. I expressed my frustrations where he replied with, "you asked for allergy tests, and I gave you them". He explained that he didn't have the test for the antibiotics that I took. He could have said that the first appointment, but instead I went through a month and a half with confusion, disappointment, and discomfort. I still don't know any more then when I first went there. I'm still frustrated. This is just what happened to me, and this is purely my own opinion. I didn't have the best experience, and thought that this could be helpful for someone that could be going through the same thing as I am.
