I purchased a Groupon for a haircut and single process color during the month of December. I was able to schedule an appointment for January 2, 2018. The only time available was at 7pm. The salon is located in Old Town Clovis and is difficult to find. It would have been nice if I was informed while making the appointment of exactly where salon was located and where I should park. Once in the salon I explained to Ashley that I wanted my bang area cut shorter and to leave the length on the front sides and bottom of my hair the same. Then layer my very thick hair from top all the way to the bottom. Pretty simple.I told her the color (9V) I had been using on my hair and that I needed my roots touched up aand color pulled through to ends to ensure uniform color. Easy peasy.During the time color was being applied to my hair another Groupon customer came into the shop for her appointment with Ashley.After my color was processed (and while she did a weave on the other customer), Ashley stated my color didn't take and I would have to come back for her to fix it. She stated they use an organic dye that doesn't cover gray hair. So if she knew this, why didn't she use something different to make the product work?Then she started cutting and cutting and cutting. She cut off all my length on the bottom and front sides. She layered the bottom back of my hair but not the sides or top. My bangs were never touched. In other words, she did he exact opposite of what I had requested and paid for.Next day I asked for a refund. No dice. She didn't even care she ruined my hair. I had to go get it recut and colored. I now have short hair. It will take months to grow to a length I find acceptable.What a nightmare...Uhg.

Nicole is my FAVORITE. She is so sweet and easy to communicate with! She's an expert at color and cut and does this with such passion. I love that she's knowledgeable on how to fix common issues with going blonde. I had red in my hair and when we bleached, it went orange! But she corrected it on the spot and now my color is gorgeous! I also chopped about 8in off my hair and she did such a wonderful job! I've been going to Nicole since Dec 2019 and I won't be going anywhere else!!

Honestly, Ashley is NOT good at coloring hair!!! Shes a nice girl, but she just did not give good service and does not listen to her clients! It was my first (and now last) time there, and she double booked so she was bouncing between me and another client, which would not have been so bad if she highlighted my hair properly. I asked for a baylage, but she said it would not work with my thick hair (being a newbie I believed her...)So istead she gave me partial highlights, TERRIBLE ones! :( and when I didnt like the tone she made me wait 40 minutes while she finished the other client, and I finally when it was all said and done, I left with wet hair and streaky off toned highlights! WELL. After a week I went to a different salon and they did a balage like I originally wanted. It looks amazing now, but I had to pay another 140 to get it fixed somewhere else.My reccomendation- dont bother with this place unless youre just getting a cut or trim.

Avoid Melissa Frost at all costs. Text messages were initially partially answered then totally ignored. As a business owner, not retuning messages from a client is just unprofessional. Would never recommend this salon.

Bought a groupon. Ashley was very hard to get a hold of. Finally booked via text. She gave me a time and said to send the groupon. She did not say by what time, and then gave my appt away without sending a simple text stating she needed the groupon sooner. It would have taken 2 seconds. A lot if attitude and very unprofessional. Requesting a refund and feel like I dodged a bullet!

Chantelle and her daughter were so great! They did all the women in my bridal party and had us all done right on time for pictures and our hair looked flawless! Not only that, but it held through the entire night! She was so flexible as she made time to travel to wonder valley for us with only one week notice because I changed my mind on the person I originally hired. I am so happy to have made that choice because we all felt and looked beautiful! Chantelle's daughter even helped my bridesmaids with their false lashes cause we all had nails and couldn't get them straight! This mom/daughter duo is the best and went above and beyond for my bridal party! Thank you so much Chantelle and Nicole!

Well... I went in with broken hair, overgrown roots, and a hopeless attitude.
