Fresa Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar

Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant around. So many amazing drinks to choose from, including a long list of flavored margaritas. All the food is good, and adding on Queso to our chips and salsa was a hit.I wasn't a big fan of the elote, because like most restaurants the corn ends up a bit soft and soggy, but it was still the best corn I've gotten from similar places. Having it all topped off is nice.

Delicious food and great margarita. Coming from San Diego, CA, I didn't have much hope for Mexican food in WA. The food was tasty and has lots of flavors. Not fully authentic like in San Diego but it will do.

Just had a fantastic dinner! I got hooked on "Chile Rellano Burritos" at a little place in CA many years ago. I haven't been able to find anything close for decades and believe me I've tried, even assembling my own. It's just not the same. I read good reviews for this place and saw the poblano Chile Rellano burrito on the menu and decided to try one more time. It was excellent! I ordered the burrito with no rice inside, just refried beans and Chile Rellano. They cover the burrito in Rellano sauce (super delicious) and then top w sour cream and queso fresco. Really, really, really good. Then for dessert ordered the pineapple upside down cake and flan. Both desserts were outstanding. Our server, Ely, was great, she was very attentive and made the meal a real treat. Delicious food and great service, I'll be back again soon.

A group (11) of us dined at Fresa for our daughter's birthday.Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Large party reservations can be accommodated in the dining area. An 18% gratuity is added to all tabs of 6+ parties. There were several large parties during our visit.Fresa has an enormous cocktail menu which is why our daughter chose this restaurant. Complimentary chips and salsa can be nibbled on while deciding what to order.My dad, wife and I all slurped on 16oz Dos Equis, Negra Modelo, and Manny's for $4.99 each (hh). Our daughter ordered the Margarita Sampler for $26 while her boyfriend ordered an AMF for $14.My dad ordered The Works Enchilada for $18.99: Two Enchiladas filled with chicken and topped with roja enchilada sauce, grilled bell peppers, onion, mushroom's and cheese.My daughter ordered the Carne Asada Street Tacos (qty 4) for $19 + $3.50 up-charge for Carne Asada.My daughter's boyfriend ordered the Enchilada Rojas for $11.95: Two enchiladas stuffed with ground beef and topped with enchilada sauce and cheese.My wife and I shared an a la carte pork tamale for $6.25. We were both disappointed in our tamale. It was bland and expensive compared to others we have had.My wife and I also shared the Pork Carnitas for $20.99: Mexican Pulled Pork served with guacamole, Pico de gallo, rice, beans and tortillas. We both found this dish quite enjoyable.Fresa acknowledged our daughter's birthday with a complimentary tequila shot.Service was efficient and welcoming. Food prices were fair for the portions (except the tamale). Cocktail prices seemed high to me; however, I'm not a cocktail drinker. Beer prices were standard.

I can't believe I haven't discovered this place sooner. It's the best spot to drink during the day or evening up in Everett. They got a huge menu, whether it's food or alcoholic drinks. The cocktail drinks are a must try. The margaritas are strong, one drink got me feeling good. I had the stoplight margarita...it was so refreshing and I couldn't even taste the alcohol. I'd have to come back for the food. They give you complimentary tortilla chips. Get the queso dip!

I dropped in with 4 friends for lunch. We were seated within minutes of arriving. The server was very good at asking clarifying questions and specifics for the order.I had ordered a combo option of bean and tacos. It came with beans and Mexican rice. In addition, I ordered a Virgin Margarita.They have parking onsite and it's 15 minutes from the ferry dock.Reasons for Rating:+1 Excellent location and parking+1 Food taste really good+1 Customer service+1 Interior/atmosphere+1 Would return/recommend others

Amazing happy hour! Service was great and very attentive. Will definitely be back, recommend sitting in the bar to watch the Mariners game

Fresa is a fantastic Mexican restaurant with an affordable and generous happy hour menu. The clean and aesthetically pleasing ambiance, friendly waitstaff, and delicious food, especially the burrito and complimentary salsa with chips, make it a delightful experience. The strong and flavorful alcohol options, like the flight with tropical cocktails, are worth trying. Highly recommend checking them out for a great Mexican food experience!

Bartender was attentive and fast. Spicy mango margarita is delicious. I can't wait to return when I'm hungry to try the food. Vibe is hip and trendy!

I'm giving this place 3 stars based on the two times we've come here and both were very different in terms of vibe and food. The first time we came, the food was pretty good. I enjoyed my pollo a la crema, and my husband enjoyed his nachos. The second visit, I did not enjoy the nachos, and the seafood was by far the worst I've ever had at a restaurant. The calamari was very fishy and gross. My friend had the ceviche, and he couldn't take more than one bite. The drinks were alright. Nothing to write home about. The list of drinks is a little excessive, way over board. Maybe master a few signature drinks and not try to be too fancy. The ambiance is pretty nice. It's modern, clean and almost feels like a fancy lounge/bar and not your typical Mexican restaurant decor. I like it. Service was great both times. May come back, but I wouldn't say this is my "go-to" place.
