A beautiful French bistro with a hidden oasis is my ideal way to Brunch on a Sunday. It was really easy to reserve a reservation online for a spot with myself and two friends. The host was very friendly and offered me the option to eat outside on the patio or inside. I requested to sit inside the greenhouse garden room and they accommodated to my ask! The menu had so many options but what caught my eye was the mushroom crepe with the bechamel. Our table also ordered smoked salmon Benedict and Frenchie toast. And my latte was delicious and strong. I just loved being in the greenhouse where I felt transported out of the city. It was quite romantic and so lovely. I'd definitely recommend anyone to Frenchie for the experience! I would love to come back and try some more delicious French food paired with a glass of wine.

It's really a 3.5 rating rather than a 3 stars. The main reason for the 3.5 stars is service. I went as a solo diner. After being offered a place at the bar or outside, my request for the enclosed glass patio area was granted since there was a two top available (which was great, and much appreciated). However, after my food was delivered to me, I felt forgotten/overlooked. After finishing my food, I indicated with my silverware I was done and also wasn't eating. The server would come around and look at the tables in the area, but I felt like skipped over me. It wasn't until a runner/buser had given me a to-go box/bar that the server took notice. He asked if I would like to see a dessert menu. And I would have if he had asked 10 minutes sooner. The olive oil cake seemed delicious !The food was good. I liked the addition of the truffle to the béchamel sauce.Unfortunately, it was the service that didn't leave me impressed with the resto that came recommended to me by a couple of people. I would try it once more (because the food was good!), but for dinner service to see try other menu items and maybe to have better service.

A local suggested Frenchie for Sunday brunch before we headed home. It's a cute place with outdoor seating and a garden room in the back. With the kitchen in the middle, it was pretty toasty there. We enjoyed the cool air in the garden room. There were maybe eight tables occupied when we arrived at 10:30am. There wasn't much energy or excitement in the place. A Mimosa was a great way to start our meal. For our meal, we started with the Traditional Onion Soup that was served nuclear hot. It was beautifully presented and yummy!.I had read the Eggs Benedict were excellent and they lived up to their reviews. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't ordered fries with it.

Delicious breakfast/brunch French bistro (on Saturdays & Sundays). You have the option to sit outside or inside, or in the back Greenhouse (sunny but air conditioned). Make a reservation on the weekend, it gets packed! Large selection of cocktails and coffees, as well as French-inspired sandwiches, salads, breads, and egg Benedicts. I ate the lobster eggs Benedict and really liked it. Not much lobster meat, but the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, the lobster was tender, and the hollandaise sauce was thick and creamy. I always appreciate when the sauce is made correctly and is creamy, not a broken thin sauce. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the food here, and would definitely return!

If you're not considering the price, I think that the quality of this place was pretty good. The charcuterie board was definitely not worth $22 but still was good. The arugula salad though? Super yummy! I didn't expect a salad to be that good but I honestly could have eaten two plates of it (sweet and savory). The eggs benedict just tasted like a regular dish. The place itself was pretty loud when we went during lunch time, but the setting was really pretty and clean. The server was really nice too. I'm just giving this a 3 star because it definitely is not worth the $120 even with the two drinks (not including tip).

Came here for our anniversary recently. We don't normally gravitate towards French food but it was the best meal I've had in months. We got the steak tartare for an app, which was delicious. My husband got the steak frites which was good, to be expected. He really liked the salad dressing, he dipped everything in there. Ok but the star of the night was the boneless half chicken. I never ever get chicken at a restaurant bc I'm always disappointed but I was enticed by the aligot. The chicken blew me away. It was better than the steak. The au jus made me want to lick the plate clean. The oyster mushrooms were so umami. The aligot- delicious obviously. The chicken was boneless, skin on and cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, juicy inside. You have to go. And you have to get the chicken

Loved this place! Stopped in today for brunch with a friend and it was so cute and the food was great! It's a small restaurant on the garden level of a building in the south end with the cutest brunch vibes. The very back portion of the restaurant is a green house, which is where we sat. Wasn't too hot in there despite being a beautiful sunny day, and it was so cute! Overall great experience! The food was delicious and the service was great! Parking can be hard to find in this area, but it is also in a very walkable location! We got 2 dishes and split them, so I tried both. Both were great and the salmon toast brought a generous amount of salmon! Also a very decently priced establishment. Not any more or less expensive than the neighboring restaurants.

What an adorable restaurant! Had a little date night and let me say I was impressed. It was a quaint little place with the cutest french energy. The waitress we had was SO sweet and only made for better service. Menu is large, but played it safe with a simple salmon that was PACKED with flavor. A restaurant only gets better with a good espresso martini, and let me say, the frozen aspect only made it more delicious! Big win for this place!

What a disappointing experience for a place I've been looking forward to going to for so long. For the good: the interior is super cute. We were seated in their section towards the back with greenhouse windows, which felt like a more intimate section of the restaurant away from the rowdy bar at the front. Service was solid as well, with our waitress introducing herself and taking our orders in a timely fashion and food coming out pretty quickly.Unfortunately, the food itself was absolutely terrible for its price point.Of the dishes we got:- Lamb ribs: the sauce was the best flavor we had all night, with the perfect amount of sweetness without being too sweet. However, we asked for our meat to be cooked medium rare and it came fully rare. I think I would've enjoyed this dish if it had been cooked as we requested, but for what we got, I would skip.- Filet mignon: this also came cooked incorrectly. We requested medium rare and the meat came medium. It was tough, nearly flavorless, and not worth its $42 price. Would skip.- Whole branzino: this was cooked tenderly, but was extremely bland in flavor. The fish was cooked on top of slices of lemon, so there was a tiny bit of lemon flavor to the dish. There was also salt on the side to add to your own liking. However, at a $45 price, I expected more than just these simple flavors. Would skip.- Ratatouille: the veggies were decently cooked, though the portion was a bit small for its $8 price. The flavor was basically marinara sauce. Would skip.Overall, I was so disappointed with my experience here. None of the food dishes were worth coming back for, especially at their price points. The one redeeming feature of this place is its ambiance, so maybe it's the type of place to just go for a glass of wine.

I had a great dinner at Frenchie and am glad to have come here. The staff were attentive to my previous phone call about it being our anniversary, and they brought over complimentary champagne for a toast. We were able to be seated in the greenhouse, which gave a more intimate feeling to the meal. The duck breast with purple sweet potato was exquisite. Perfectly cooked, and I wish more restaurants would use the purple sweet potato combination! My beef bourgignon was a bit dry and underwhelming, unfortunately, which is the only reason I'm not giving this review five stars. But the service was excellent and it was a special dinner that turned out great. I plan to return and try a new dish--or maybe back to the duck if it's still on the menu!
