Michelin-guided for a reason!Setting: located in Krog Street Market, it can be busy and seating tight, but it's worth it.Service: friendly staff working to push orders out! Food: Their Phillies are famous and for good reason! So cheesy, flavorful, and unctuous; this spot WILL fill you up!

The food is amazing and well deserving of 5 stars but everything else drags this place down.Food - I ordered the Korean Cheese Steak and BBQ fries with white sauce. The cheese steak tastes great and has candied jalapenos in it. The perfect balance of sweet and heat. The bread is extremely soft on the inside. The fries are loaded with BBQ seasoning and taste amazing. The white sauce tastes just like mayo. Other - You have to pay for parking and walk to the food hall. There is a lot of traffic in the area. Not many places to sit. They only have bottled drinks and water.

I really love the vibe of Krog Street Market, and Fred's had the longest line so of course I had to try it! I saw that Fred's got a Michelin Bib recently, so I was really excited. My friend and I split the BBQ Fries and the Philly Cheesesteak. The food took around 15 mins to come out - it was harder to find a table than we thought. We finally decided to sit outside which wasn't too bad!I thought the BBQ Fries were awesome. Each fry was so seasoned and I liked the white BBQ sauce that it came with! Wish there was more :( we were definitely running out by the end. The Philly Cheesesteak was fine. I liked how juicy the meat was but I don't think there was enough cheese - def not like an actual Philly cheesesteak. I did like the fact that it was shareable, it was even already cut in half. Pretty cool spot!

Fred's never misses! I've tried multiple things there and am always pleased. The Korean Philly is next level good. The garlic fries have a ton of garlic which is my favorite. The blackened salmon sandwich has so much flavor and is so fresh. It can be hard to find seating sometimes at Krog so I often order to go. The food travels well. Their homemade sauces are also bomb.

Came here on a relatively slow Saturday. The cashier was patient and efficient. I got to try their korean philly cheesesteak which tasted like how it sounds. Bread was soft and meat was cheesy. Some bites were certainly spicier than others so just be cautious if you have a lower tolerance. Since it's apart of Krog Street Market, there are stools you can sit and enjoy right there or a few steps to the right in the shared space with tables. Wouldn't mind coming again to try more from their menu.

Since they got a Bib Gourmand this year I decided to give this spot a try! We came here on a Saturday at dinnertime so it was pretty busy inside the food hall. I ordered the burger with Old Bay seasoned fries. My husband got the Grinder with his own classic fries. Granted, we definitely could have shared 1 order of fries, but we wanted to try two flavors. Everything was very satisfying, exactly what you want in a burger and sandwich. The prices might seem a little high, but the portions are definitely large. There is a small area to sit next to sit next to where they push out orders so if you don't mind some commotion, you can sit at the stall.

Fred's Meat and Cheese is a nice sandwich shop. I shared the oyster po' boy with my boyfriend, and while he loved it, I realized that I don't like seafood that much. I would definitely be open to going back and trying their Philly cheesesteak. Their sandwiches are priced at $10 and up, and I think it's worth the price since the sandwiches are sharable. The service was great and fast, and there are seats right at the ordering station. For parking, there's a parking garage by one of the entrances that charges $8.90 for one hour (on a Sunday), but from Monday through Thursday, parking is free for the first hour.

I tried out Fred's Meat & Bread, I heard that had one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks in the City!! They didn't disappoint me. The service was great, with it being my first time, they gave me a preview of the menu. I ordered the Korean chicken Philly, the cheese was melting off the chicken, it's was very spicy, in a good way!! The bread was Krusty. I enjoyed it. The ambiance was cool as well. I will be coming back soon.

I recently had the pleasure of trying this Michelin Bib Gourmand on Tuesday evening. Thankfully, the line wasn't long when I ordered. It got slightly more busy afterwards (my family has called this our own effect). I asked the server to recommend me something, which was the Korean Cheesesteak. The guy in line before me also ordered it, so I thought it can't be that bad.I paired this sandwich with the fries with aioli. I thought the sandwich itself was heavenly. It may have been a little too heavy/spicy (but nothing unbearable) so I had to save the second half for leftovers. The garlic aioli was great, and the people at dinner with me in the Krog food court thought the fries were amazing. I thought they were seasoned well, too, but they were a little too thick cut for my liking. I'm usually not a sandwich person but Fred's definitely knocked my socks off. They have a picture of a pepperoni sandwich I'd like to try next time. Overall, well deserverd Bib Gourmand!

So, Fred's Meat & Bread was featured by the Michelin Star folks. I already had them on my list to try, but after that, I had to give them a go.When I walked up to the counter, I saw signs hyping up their double stack burger. "#1 burger in Atlanta!" and even a food critic claiming the burger was so good that it "made him feel more American."Was the burger good? Yeah. Mind blowing or some sort of spiritual experience? Not so much. The fries were also pretty solid. Really well seasoned. Overall though, I'm not sure I got the hype.I'd go back and try some other stuff, though.
