I stopped in because of the cute sign. As I walked in, the place was clean, and I loved the vibe. A little train on the signage inside the place I see why they have been in business for 60 years. I could tell the staff really got alone joking and laughing. I ordered the 2 hot dog special and it didn't disappoint. The hot dog was beefy in flavor with all the topping fresh and crisp. The fries were done perfectly. Crisp on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside.

A lunch stop had me here today. I ordered a gyros plate. Made to perfection I really enjoyed it. The dining area was clean and parking was easy. Drive by here daily and today I grabbed lunch here and glad I did I'll be back :)

I treue their gyros. It was good. Heard this pleace has good food and they do. I was here quick coz had an emergency call. Would comeback to try their hamburgers, sandwiches and dinner variety.

I got something called a "super burger". Words have meanings. The word super does not apply here. It was a small dry patty with a perfect square of unmelted cheese.

Got the chili dog and it was not a lot good to it. The dog tasted like something you get from the store and the chili had huge beans in it which is a big no-no in the world of chili dogs. The fries were fairly cold and not very good either. Overall the place kind of sucked

The good: Coke fountain drinks, great gyros, great chicken on a pita. Classic old school chicago vibe. Wonderful staff.The bad: skip the fries, the pepper and egg lent special is a miss with only green peppers, no hot sauce or actual pepper in it.

I MUST leave another rating. Ordered pick up today. Whole grilled chicken dinner, shrimp basket dinner, bbq chicken dinner and kids hot dog meal. ALWAYS high quality food. ALWAYS packaged SO neatly. Love this place. Chicken is always cooked to perfection (I am obsessed with their grilled chicken)My fam nor I haven't ordered something we didn't like from here. Next time I will update this review with pictures. The food is too good, it's demolished by the time I remember to take a picture

No thrills, hot dog and beef place. Both were spot on and fresh. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Large parking lot for a Chicago place.

Second time my boyfriend is being questioned by an older lady if he's going to eat two sandwiches by himself, judgmental and unnecessary It wasn't even much and he didn't enter the place to be criticized, just to eat.
