Frank's New York Style Deli

Better come hungry! I had the Tony full size for lunch and damn near couldn't eat dinner that night. This is coming from a guy who has never missed a meal :) Anyhow this little hole in the wall place has been here for like 42+ years. I found it on Yelp and figured let's see if it's everything it's cracked up to be. It's not too far from GCU (Grand Canyon University) and I had some time to kill so I went in for lunch. Nice older gal was running the meat slicer and I believe it was her son or a family member of some sort who took my order.Sure enough it's everything I thought it would be and then some! Sandwich ingredients were as fresh as I've ever had. Bread was perfect. Service was friendly and polite. I sat in the establishment and ate at one of their little tables. Patron after patron walked in and many of them the staff knew by name which I thought was indicative of how old school and well known the place is around the locals Yelp community.Anyhow great place and my only suggestion is if you are not starving consider the half. As I walked out I heard someone ordering a half sandwich and I was thinking darn I should have done that and then I would have had room for the cannoli!

God I want to love this place. I've lived around the corner for about 18 months now. I've been there three times. I order the Tony each time. The sandwich is fat AF and absolutely delicious.The first time I had diarrhea within the hour. I didn't blame the food because....who knows?? Maybe it was me.....i was sus tho so waited about 6 months to try again. Went back, trying to be positive....same exact thing. Vowed to never go back. Refrained from writing a review because I still didnt know "for sure" if it was them or me.Ok waited another 6 months. Tried again today....Look this is no coincidence. I had straight up violent spraying squirt diarrhea again within the hour. It is not me, I am sure this is them. If you choose to roll those dice, you better be eating at home.

Every time I stop by this place is closed. It looks appealing and old, but they are never available.So annoying.

This sandwich as not only massive, it was delish. I ordered delivery for lunch. I ate half for lunch on Friday then ate the other half for lunch on Saturday (it still tasted fresh and delish a day later!!) the bread was firm even the next day, the meat was thinly sliced but no so thin you could barely taste it. Overall, this was very very very good. I will def be ordering from here again in the future. If you're looking for a good sandwich shop, here it is y'all.

Omg the food here is amazing. My sub was so fresh and yummy I couldn't put it down by the far the best spot in AZ . I also had a cannoli that was outta this world it was so good I think I will return today for another, lol. I would not pass this place up the service was also top-tier family owned and delicious

The perfect sandwiches hand-crafted with yummy love. Family run joint that's always clean and friendly. Love the pastrami and Tony's sub.

My partner and I have always drove right past this place thinking we should try this place. A year later we decided to finally visit.. When I tell you, the service was amazing, it was amazing. Such sweet and hard working people, making sure we got what we wanted and needed! My sandwich was delish and I have no complaints. I rather have this than subway, Jimmy John and any other sandwich place. I rest my peace.

Oh my God, I love Frank's. After moving to Phoenix, this was one of the first places I stumbled upon. Definitely a hidden gem in West Phoenix. Absolutely have to make a trip here. Beats every other sandwich shop in the city.How many other places have five stars? Great family owned joint and extremely friendly service. do your taste buds a favor and try franks.

My new favorite hoagie restaurant. The Italian hoagie is probably the best hoagie I have had. The meats were all fresh and the sub roll was a home run cool atmosphere great service. Definitely a must try.

What a great find! We had just landed at PHX and were hungry for lunch before hitting the road to Flagstaff. We stopped at the first restaurant with high reviews and it didn't disappoint! Delicious sandwiches all around!
