AMAZING FOOD! I went with my husband and two daughters. My husband ordered the pesto pasta, which was excellent. I ordered the Penne Ala Vodka which was incredible, and my daughters got the pizza and angel hair pasta with sauce. We all enjoyed so much! The garlic roles and salad were also incredible. For dessert, we all enjoyed the chocolate cake. The service was great, we loved our waiter. The resturant is very nice, and ambiance is great. Will be back!

This place is a staple of the area. It's been around since I was a kid 20 years ago. I would say this is like a mom and pop Olive Garden. The tossed salad and garlic rolls are *chefs kiss* and come with entrees. I want to love the pasta dishes but for me they're just okay. My husband does love them though! Their pizzas are good. The last time we ate their my soup was very salty which was sad because I love Italian wedding soup. It's a surprisingly large restaurant with Italian posters all around.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to dine in a culinary ghost town, pop into Frankie's Italian in Marietta for a lunchtime escapade! The place has a 'throwback atmosphere,' which I suspect is code for "We've not changed anything since 1985, including the air." But hey, I'm all for a bit of nostalgia, even if it feels like you're eating in a retro museum exhibit. Now, let's talk about the food. The prices are so great that you might suspect they're part of a social experiment. The chicken parmigiana? So thin, you could almost see through it if you held it up to the light. It's the kind of dish that whispers, "I'm on a diet," even if you're not. Then there's the chicken Alfredo, which I'm convinced was an avant-garde take on soup rather than pasta. Milky texture? More like a dairy dilemma on a plate. But it wasn't all a culinary conundrum at Frankie's. The side salad was surprisingly good. Yes, amidst the edible enigmas, the salad stood out like a beacon of hope, showing that all was not lost. It was the culinary equivalent of finding a diamond ring in a cereal box.In summary, dining at Frankie's is like going on a rollercoaster ride with no loops--mildly thrilling but mostly harmless. Would I go back? Maybe, if I'm in the mood for a laugh or a lightweight chicken parm. Frankie's, where the past is present, and the chicken is translucent!

The first thing I have to point out is the service. The people here are genuinely kind and attentive. That alone makes you want to come back. Secondly, the food does the job! I got the Baked Ziti and it was the perfect portion in my opinion. I've also preferred the pizza and garlic cheesy bread in the past -- also pretty good! It's dim and intimate inside. You wouldn't expect it to look the way it does based from its exterior. I love this little hidden gem. I say to definitely give this place a try! For sure recommend.

Recommend this place? I'm a yes, but. The food is consistent, so the kitchen has it down. Pizza in restaurant is great and the Italian specialties are usually spot on. Pizza delivery, I would pass. Always cold by the time it hits the house and I live three blocks away. Having been coming here for four years, my only issue is the front of house and the manager. Constant turnover and the manager is pretty combative with the customers on many occasions. It's the reason why we've stopped going, though we still love the food. You'd think a neighborhood place like this would have a regular staff you would love to come and visit with, but it's different people everytime and they always look lost. Perhaps they need to pay more for servers? My wife asked me to go tonight and I said no thanks.

This is our go to Italian spot! Everything on the menu -- and I mean everything is so good. Great service and there's never a long wait!

All dishes were quite bland. We ordered two pastas and ended up leaving both of untouched. Only the soup was somewhat decent. The menu is the same you would see in any Italian restaurant, no innovation

Came here on a Friday night with a couple of family members and it was not too busy so we got seated right away. Ordered the Pasta Primavera and it came with salad and rolls. The waitress was kind enough to bring salad and rolls for the whole table even though one of our party did not order an entree that came with them. The salad was alright, a pretty standard garden salad loaded with cheese. The rolls were swimming in garlic butter, however. I am somebody who can appreciate a buttered roll, but there was about a quarter of an inch of oil in the bottom of the bowl with the rolls which I found a bit much.My pasta dish was good, but nothing special. Vegetables were not overdone, and the sauce was on the lighter side which suited the dish. Similarly good but not amazing reviews from my family on the fettuccine pasta, and the calamari and muscle starters.I'd been to it a few times before Covid and it's about the same as I remembered. Would come back again but am certainly in no rush to.

Horrible treatment by the staff. I arrived with about 12 minutes before closing. One of the staff was standing at the door and quickly ran inside and shut the door, leaving me to open it and come in on my own. Then when I came in a very surly and rude female hostess, came up and said to me That the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. This place used to be a great place. And I used to go there all the time. It's gone downhill. It has not recovered from Covid and it's just filled with rude staff. It's not the same place that it was several years back.
