Absolutely love Fowl Play. Wife and I are very picky when it comes to Hot Chicken. We've been to over a dozen spots in Nashville Metro area, and after discovering FP, this is our new #1! We've been back 10x now, also bringing family & coworkers.Staff is always so friendly & welcoming! Hot Chicken and Quarters are always spot on, flavor always consistent! I have never had a dry piece of chicken here, always moist and amazing, great levels of heat the steak fries are to die for!! Great Mac, and the chess pie squares, wow! Every thing is cooked fresh, so expect a wait to get your food, I order ahead online.Great Food, Great People, keeps us coming back!!! Thanks Fowl Play!!!

I know all the stories, I've been to all of them- Prince's, Bolton's, all the way to the newer ones like Party Fowl. I like them all, the reviews are legit. But believe me when I tell you this is the best of them all. I would be willing to say it's the best fried chicken in all of Nashville. The sides I had,(You can't see the cole slaw and potato salad) were OUTSTANDING and all homemade. I will also say I've never had a better burger, anywhere. I can't recommend this place enough, but BE CAREFUL when ordering spice level. When it says hot, they are not lying! Be conservative because their final 2 levels are BLAZING! Go see these kind folks and you'll see what I mean.

Went to try the hot chicken.... Amazing! Hands down better than other Tennessee competitors! The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the spice didn't disappoint. We ordered a couple sides and the staff brought out samples of the sides we did not order. All I can say is the down home cookin' was clearly made with southern love. From the turnip greens, spaghetti, Mac n cheese, baked beans, okra, Kentucky bourbon wings, to the potato salad.... Mmmm...mmmm! Lastly, the staff made us feel like we were at home, in Mama's kitchen. Nothing fancy but pure perfection. We will be long time customers. Fowl Play is doin' it right!

Cooked to order. You can tell it's not been sitting in a warmer forever. Love the Mac and BBQ beans and the turnip greens. Smash burger is good but the chicken is more what I need.

As hot as you want it to be. The tenders are my favorite as well as heat level "sliding into third". I tried third once. I was starting to sweat when my diaphragm started spasming and suddenly there wasn't enough cheese in the house. If you want heat level four they say they make you sign a waiver. The fries, meaty baked beans and the Cole slaw are all great.
