Four Generals Brewing

Two ciders and about 15 beers on tap, this is a fun brewery that lets you bring in dinner from other local restaurants! I particularly loved how they had two shelves of books and two shelves of board/card games for customers to enjoy.

This place is GREAT.1. They make beer.....What? You need more?... okay... *cough*needy*cough*...2. They're a brewery that server OTHER breweries beers, so they know what's good and are willing to serve it.3. Free wifi!4. It's a rare day that there isn't a dog present. 5. Their bathroom is alien and spartan friendly! (Aka, they haven't the shit to give about the state or orientation of your genetalia).6. Turquoise & grey bathroom means they have killer taste.7. Mr. Bill.8. They have a holding cell.... no seriously.9. You can count to nine, so you have the brainpower to enjoy.

Friendliest service. Respectful to those over 60 and always a great place to hang out for a great brew. Music is right up my ally and the pretzels are awesome.

Great little brewery in Renton. I stopped in here on a warm Thursday afternoon right after they opened for the day. Quiet but a great Hazy IPA. Friendly bartender. Chill spot Small but a few tables, a bar and some tasty beers. What else do you really need?

Nice open patio, tables made from wood cuts are lovely. Good beer-both had Vienna Amber. Friendly staff and friendly patrons!

Amazing commitment to true German pilsner brewing. Not a bad beer on tap. They even keep a couple of very good IPA's on tap to keep the typical Seattle beer drinker happy! Mary, the beertender, was amazing with great knowledge of the beers.

I had some extra time before an event in Renton last week so, of course, it seemed like the perfect time to check out this new-to-me brewery. It was a rare, semi-warm afternoon so I grabbed a seat on their cute outdoor patio and headed to the bar to order my beer. They had a Mexican Lager on tap and it was delicious. Clear, light, and with just the right combo of hoppy maltiness... it was perfectly brewed. This is a small spot, so I wouldn't go here with a big group, but what a fun place to hang out on your own or with a date. The dude at the bar was super friendly too!

We came in at 7:00 PM on Saturday night. Four Generals is in easy walking distance of anywhere downtown! It was easy to get to. It is small and laid back-there is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, and they have a free library. It was very chill. I had never been here so I ordered a flight to get to know them. I chose three and had the person working there choose one for me.My new favorite beer is the Rauches Helles-this is a unique beer! It was light and smoky-I am definitely getting a growler of this in the future. I loved everything on my flight, even though I had a clear favorite. The moon berries was not too sweet, and I enjoyed the red ale and kolsch. Their beers are solid. I had a ball here-this is a comfortable spot to have a quick brew or stay for an hour or two. I'm a big fan!

Horrible service. Rude bartender, ignored us while entertaining her friends at the bar. Told me. I had to go to the bar to order. She did not do table service.For us over 40, felt like like if we were 20'something, we would have been treated differently. Will NEVER be back! Oh yea, one more thing, we were leaving and while walking to our car, the owner or brewmaster whatever, ran after us and was VERY confrontational about our review, and yelled at my brother, telling us we should promoting small business in Renton. Which we do all the time, I tried to explain to him that that was why we have reviews, to help people make thier business better (if there is a problem) he would have none of it and acted like he was going to get violent, when his wife/girlfriend came out and tried to calm him down and take him back in the bar, this guy just dosent get it...
