After eaten at this place more than 2 dozen times, I can honestly say this is the best, most authentic Chinese restaurant in the area considering the amount of options they have on their menu. First, their food. I've had their dim sum, chicken feet, shrimp friend rice and port fried rice, dumplings, sticky rice with meat, and chow mein noodles. I've had both the fresh and frozen dim sum. Every item has been very consistent. So bottom line, their food is bomb.Service, is ok. You're not going to get the southern hospitality, but hey, I just want the food.Decor is very dated, but that is your typical Chinese restaurant. Plenty of parking.

We started to be regulars there but haven't been back because of some disappointing dishes on the last couple visits (many months ago from this review), and one consistently indifferent, impolite, unhappy unapologetic (when getting orders wrong) and unfriendly waitress whom we always seem get stuck with. This one sever continues to malfunction, getting orders wrong, and while there is a language issue, this unit appears to be missing personality, empathy, accountability and comprehension programming, and is need of an overhaul. Strange, as the other ladies working there are very friendly and polite. We may try it again sometime, but really the food and this one server, something needs to be done bout these. We have had good food there in the past.Last couple times we went some of the dishes were too greasy to enjoy or finish.

I placed an order online through their website and when I arrived, they had no record of the order. I had an online confirmation, text message, and credit card transaction showing it went through. That's fine, not a huge deal. They made my order fresh and it took about 5-10 minutes. The customer service was friendly and they seemed attentive. My issue is with the food itself. I love the noodle rolls aka cheung fun that you get at dim sum places. They're hard to mess up, but this place successfully did it. I ordered the beef rice noodle and the fried dough rice noodle rolls and they were by far the worst I have ever had in my entire life. They were so disgusting I threw them in the trash. The noodle part was thick and oily. The beef was undercooked and a soggy mess. The fried dough was greasy. The soy sauce that you get with them was also absolutely terrible. The only redeeming thing about the place is that they're friendly, but I'm not spending money on crappy food just for friendly customer service.

Craving for some dim sum but wasn't looking to pay Kirin a visit so checked this place out. Prices were reasonable for Dallas. Ordered a variety of dim sum dishes and padded it with beef chow fun and HK styled beef with egg rice just in case I might still be hungry after the dim sum. I didn't get to try the beef with egg over rice since the boyfriend ate all of it, but he raved about it. The beef chow fun was good. Dim sum was also good. The ham sui gok was a little off for me though, it was undercooked or something. The turnip cake might've been my favorite for din sum though, so crispy! Service was a smidge slow but I didn't mind it since I got to sit and enjoy relaxing. It was like dining in European time.I'd be back sooner rather than later.

Okay, we've had mixed experiences here. Our food, this time, came out in reverse order (i.e. the dumpling last). The Singapore noodles and beef flat noodles did not come out together. It was properly was about an 8-10 minute waiting game. The Singapore noodles: 5/5 (these are absolutely amazing)Beef flat noodles: 4/5 (pretty good but not life altering & nowhere near as good as Uncle Zhou)Pork soup dumplings: 4/5 (most of the broth was absorbed into the dough by the time it got to us)Pork Shumai: 0/5 - these were essentially tough meatballs in a dumpling wrapper. Just not good.Service was clearly mediocre as they could not get our food out in order or stage placing the order so we would not get our entrees ahead of our dumplings.

Lo and behold; I've finally found a dim sum place I'm really really excited to go to. Pretty solid restaurant but will also be EXTREMELY packed during peak and rush times. The owner is super nice and personable with how she runs the place. Given anything and everything I'll make the 30 minute drive from uptown to this place. But let's go to the the reviewThe hargow and schuimai (I'm terrible at spelling okay and I can't be bothered to correct it right now.) were super moist and flavorful. They didn't skimp on the fillings and were jammed packed with flavor. Ask for black vinegar if you can because it's more superior than the red. Turnip cakes were fried to a nice crispness and tender on the I side. Porridge - egg and pork is the staple for most congee. Quite delicious but I would prefer chunks instead of shredded, just my preference. Salt and pepper calamari was for sure best in show. Looked like turmeric in the batter that was seasoned. The spice was tantalizing. Super forward in flavor without being overwhelming. Durian fried rolls - pure durian pieces that were deep fried gave it a nice caramelized tone. Reminds me of the motherland of Thailand but a different twist. 10/10 bringing the husband here. The place will be packed and for sure loud when it's super busy. Don't forget to tip and make sure you do family style.

Today is my 9th consecutive weekly visit and ordering from their lunch special menu. All is delicious and the quality, quantity and flavor is amazing. I still have 4 more dishes to try out...but will get there soon!!!!Definitely a much healthier and better option for lunch than any fast food restaurant.

We liked the Singaporean fried noodle. And that's about it. We were actually sad as we have been looking forward to eating salt & pepper pork chop, but the way they prepare it is not with just salt & pepper, it had other spices which we did not like. The roast duck lacked flavor. Service was good.

Wife and I were craving for dim sum and based on people on FB's recommendation; we picked Zhang's Kitchen.Excellent service, we selected our usual favorite: soup dumplings, Chinese broccoli, hot and sour soup, chicken steamed buns, shrimp rice rolls, deep fried meat dumplings, and taro cake (meant to order deep fried taro dumplings - just as well come to like if).Overall a very good experience, will definitely return with our children when they visit

Very authentic Asian food. Orange chicken is great as is the Mongolian beef. The restaurant is always busy and has a family type atmosphere.
